Haruhi Fujioka
She appears to be calm and composed under normal circumstances but can’t stay calm when there’s a thunderstorm outside. She’s fond of eating different foods, especially ootoro. Haruhi is confused about her own emotions, especially those that involve romance.
Unlike other girls, she only got nervous when she first came across the members of the Host Club instead of instantly falling in love with them. If you got Haruhi, then you are a kind and empathetic person who is always up for helping anyone in need.
Tamaki Suoh
Tamaki Suoh is the president and co-founder of the Ouran High School Host Club. He appears to be a very lively, confident, and egotistical guy. However, he knows when to get serious and knows his duties well as the president of the club. He’s also very good at studying. All the girls in his school can’t help falling in love with him because he’s just too handsome!
He appears to be the most dramatic out of all the club members, and his facial expressions are always exaggerated in the anime. Though he doesn’t realize it, he has feelings for Haruhi. All the club members are aware of it except him. Tamaki also appears to be a bit childish. However, he has shown his intelligent and wise side, as well. He depends only on his intelligence when it comes to studies and doesn’t really work hard. Despite how ostentatious he appears to be, he’s a really kind and gentle soul. He’s very protective of Haruhi as well as the other members of the Club. He’s a really sweet person at heart.

Mitsukuni Haninozuka
Mitsukuni Haninozuka, aka, Honey is an older boy with a child-like appearance, loved by all the girls in his school. He’s actually the oldest member of the club, but he is looks youngest. While appearing to be an airhead, Honey is actually very clever and intelligent. He’s the first person to see through the feelings of his fellow club members. He absolutely loves cute things. All the members of the club look up to him, a he serves as their mentor.
Honey adores his stuffed bunny named Usa-Chan and is seen to be holding it all the time. He has a sweet tooth and is always looking for something sweet to eat. He appears to be childish and carefree most of the time, but is capable of giving the best advice. Overall, Mitsukuni Haninozuka is a literal ball of sunshine who is capable of lifting everyone’s mood around him.
Kyoya Ootori
Kyoya is the vice-president of the Host Club and takes his responsibility of financial planning of the club very seriously. He’s very charming in his dealings and easily manipulates others. He’s the one who manages all the finances of the club and even devises new plans to earn more money. He’s very perceptive of things around him that others are oblivious to, and he keeps to himself just for the sake of his amusement. He’s curious about how things will turn out after him being the only one who knows a certain piece of information.
He appears to be a bit reserved in comparison to other members of the club. He tends to get along more with those possessing high intelligence. He likes spending time with Haruhi and his best friend, Tamaki. Kyoya hails from a very wealthy and influential family, but doesn’t like the fact that he’s overshadowed by his two elder brothers. Despite that, he’s confident in his skills as well as his intelligence. Kyoya tends to only help those who can benefit him in some way and is very kind to them. However, according to Haruhi, that’s not true, as he also helps those who cannot benefit him in any way.
Kaoru Hitachiin
Kaoru, along with his twin brother, are competing against Tamaki for Haruhi. Kaoru is more easygoing and friendly as compared to his elder twin. He’s a troublemaker, always looking to have some fun. He’s very playful and also very helpful towards others. Kaoru appears to be more friendly and open of the two twins. He’s also very charming and makes girls fall in love with him instantly.

Hikaru Hitachiin
Hikaru Hitachiin differs greatly from his younger twin. Both of the twins love playing a game with others in which they hide their hair with similar caps and tell people to guess which one is Hikaru. Only Haruhi was able to tell who the real Hikaru was, and that was the reason why both the twins fell for her. Hikaru is very childish and gets possessive about his club members. He’s also seen to be a very jealous person, especially when it involves Haruhi. He tends to storm off when he’s jealous. Overall, Hikaru is a very helpful and kind person.
Takashi Morinozuka
Ritsu Kasanoda
Ritsu appears to be a very tough and intimidating guy. He was curious about Tamaki having so many friends and being so well respected by others. Ritsu has a very nasty temper and is not very patient at all. However, deep down, he’s a very kind-hearted guy who cares about his loved ones. He starts having feelings for Haruhi, not knowing about her true gender though.
