While Shirogane hails from a not-so-wealthy family, he didn’t let his social status come in the way of his studies and became the most popular guy of the school. He’s seen to be always working and never lollygagging. We could see how little Shirogane sleeps because of the visible eye bags under his eyes.
As Miyuki appreciates those who are highly intellectual, he looks for a partner with the same traits, and that’s why he fell for Kaguya Shinomiya. There’s also another reason why Kaguya made a huge impact on him. When both of them were in the first year of high school, a girl fell into water and was drowning. No one but Kaguya jumped in and saved the girl. Shirogane couldn’t believe his eyes because for him, Kaguya was this spoiled and wealthy girl who couldn’t care less about others. That’s when Miyuki’s thoughts about her changed entirely about her.

3. Chika Fujiwara
Chika Fujiwara is the secretary of the Student Council. She’s a very cheerful and energetic girl who is always looking to have some fun. She’s always seen to be happy and lifts everyone’s mood around her. She is unable to read the room, always, and will blurt out something stupid all the time. The members of the student council consider her to be an airhead with a childish approach towards life. But all she wants is to have some fun!
Despite her airheaded nature, she’s shown to be a very skilled pianist. She also knows how to speak five languages and is obsessed with the idea of love and can turn into a love detective whenever she sees any students who are in love. She tends to give others couple advice even when she’s not in love herself. Overall, Chika is a lanimiteral ball of sunshine!

4. Yu Ishigami
Yu Ishigami is the treasurer of the Student Council and appears to be an aloof guy who doesn’t speak much. He has this gloomy aura around him that pushes people away from him. But our Student Council members accepted him with open arms.
Ishigami is very cynical and has a very pessimistic outlook towards life. He likes to lock himself up in his room and play video games all day. His knowledge about Otaku culture is also very wide. However, he does want to be a popular guy as he’s seen to be jealous of the popular guys. Ishigami is a very kind-hearted and helpful individual, despite his depressing and cynical outlook towards life.
5. Ai Hayasaka
Ai Hayasaka is the maid of Kaguya Shinomiya and also a student at her school. She’s great at adapting to different situations, and there’s a slight shift in her personality according to different situations.
When she’s serving as a maid, she’s seen to be a cool-minded and level-headed individual, always giving her best advice to Kaguya. Kaguya also leans on her whenever she finds herself in trouble.
As a school girl, she’s seen to be a very carefree, girly, and fashionable student who is also very friendly towards everyone. Hayasaka is very loving and caring towards Kaguya, but also loves to tease her sometimes.

6. Miko Ino
Miko Ino is the auditor of the Student Council. She appears to be a decent student, having a strong sense of justice. Initially, she had different views about the Student Council due to some misunderstandings. But soon, she accepted them and became close to them.
Miko is seen to be naive about certain things and has a huge appetite despite her small size. She’s also embarrassed by her huge appetite. As a top student in her class, Miko is seen to be a very proud student who is confident in her skills. She and Ishigami are never seen to get along, as they’re always arguing about something. However, Miko does care about Ishigami as well as the other students at her school.
