Plot
The story revolves around Takemichi Hanagaki who is a boring and unemployed 26-year-old with nothing better to do. The only time when he was in his prime was in middle school when he was surrounded by his friends and even had a girlfriend. His life becomes a total mess as soon as he gets out of middle school. One day, he’s thinking about the mess his life has become and where things go wrong when he gets to hear the news of Hinata Tachibana, his only girlfriend from middle school, dying in a conflict between two famous gangs of Tokyo.
Takemichi is still deep in his thoughts and is depressed about the death of his former girlfriend when he suddenly gets pushed on train tracks. Surprisingly, instead of dying, Takemichi traveled twelve years back when he was in middle school. While living his life as a middle-schooler, Takemichi realizes that Hinata’s younger brother, Naoto is the trigger that can send him back to the past or even to the future.
Now, Takemichi decides to change his fate by changing some things in the past that would lead him to live a different life in the future. Apparently, he needs himself to get involved with one of the biggest gangs of Tokyo to save Hinata from dying. Takemichi is all ready to switch between past and future to change the course of things and for the sake of his happy future with Hinata and others.
