Izumi Miyamura
Izumi Miyamura – the soft boy with the appearance of a normal guy who loves tattoos and piercings. Well, he’s our main character who’s a student of Class 3-1 attending Katagiri Senior High School. Izumi gives off the vibe of a quiet and gloomy guy. Everyone around him thinks that he’s an otaku with good grades. Miyamura looks a bit cold at times and people get scared.
When Izumi Miyamura was just a child, he struggled to interact with others. For this specific reason, he was bullied by one of his group friends named Makio Tanihara. They all considered him very distant, which affected Miyamura badly as he grew up. This made him pessimistic about things.
After the incidents in his childhood, he changed his personality and started giving off a dark aura like a delinquent. He had piercings and tattoos, but he mostly hid them. Anyways, everyone started being intimidated by him. However, in high school, things started to look good for him when he met Hori. They became friends and lovers eventually. Miyamura is a very soft–hearted guy who absolutely adores Hori.

She has a balanced personality since she manages the house chores, babysitting, and studying side-by-side. Hori is known for being hard worker and a waifu!

Hori is also known to be a sadomasochist. This part of her personality is only seen by Miyamura. Whenever he speaks in a rude way, she tends to enjoy it and feels refreshed.
As a girlfriend, she’s the jealous type. Whenever a girl gets close to Miyamura, she can’t control her anger and gives off deadly vibes that scares Miyamura at times. Since Miyamura is mostly calm, Hori tends to enjoy his rude tone. She even asked him to curse at her. Isn’t that hilariously cute?

She’s close with almost everyone, and people tend to trust her to the extent of telling her their problems. However, she’s not very good academically since she ends up falling asleep during lectures. She’s very lazy and can hardly do anything.
Everyone tells her their problems, and Yuki tries her best to help them. But nobody knows that Yuki is always hiding her problems and negative feelings from her friends. She pretends to not care about the hardships that she faces. Her coping mechanism is smiling. So, whenever she’s in a pickle, she smiles her way through it without letting anyone know.
Yuki can easily get jealous if her close friends abandon her for someone else. Since she hates feeling this way, she tends to hide this side of her too. Overall, she’s a really good friend who is always there to help her loved ones. Yuki is quite affectionate too if you get to know about her.

Tokyo Ghoul Kaneki suffers a lot in this show, but his suffering managed to make him one of the most loved anime protagonists of all time. In a world plagued with ghouls, who devour humans, Kaneki is a normal kid. But one incident changes his life forever. After that incident, Kaneki has become a ghoul and can’t eat human food, the psychological trauma that Kaneki goes through is really hard to see.
