1. Kiyotaka Ayanakoji
Sometimes, he’s able to communicate with others but in a monotonous way. Deep down, Kiyotaka wants to make friends. However, the way he talks to them ends up pushing them away instead of getting them close to him. Despite appearing to be cold and emotionless, Kiyotaka does care about others.
Kiyotaka doesn’t really like any kind of attention and wants to stay lowkey. He even refused to become the secretary of the Student Council President. Kiyotaka is very intimidating when he gets angry. He tends to threaten those who annoy him or use them for their own good. He can become quite aggressive and cruel if he’s after something. He can also manipulate and blackmail others. Kiyotaka is not your average goody-two-shoes MC.
2. Suzune Horikita
Suzune appears to be a very serious girl with exceptional intelligence. She doesn’t like opening up to anyone and keeps her emotions to herself. Her classmates think of her as a super cold and rude girl who doesn’t like talking to anyone. She’s rather bold about things and doesn’t hesitate to voice her opinions in front of anyone. She’s not looking to make any friends because according to her, friends would only slow down her progress.
Suzune has trust issues. She has built walls all around her and never lets anyone be close to her. She’s very stubborn and no one has the power to convince her. Suzune is mostly calm but she’s very fearful of her older brother who is also the Student Council President. She can’t stay calm in his presence. She feels insecure because her elder brother is much more capable than her and she feels inferior in his presence. However, she greatly respects her brother and admires him as well.
3. Kikyo Kushida
Kikyo Kushida is a popular school idol. She’s very friendly and likes hanging out with her friends. She’s very cheerful and bubbly all the time. However, she perfectly conceals her resentment towards others. She doesn’t show it to anyone but she hates Suzune’s cold attitude, to the point of cursing her secretly. Kiyotaka overhears her conversation with herself and that’s when Kikyo blackmails him of assault if he reveals it to anyone. This shows that Kikyo can be scary sometimes. She quickly switched personalities.
She reveals to Kiyotaka that the reason why she hates Suzune so much is that she’s not two-faced like her. She’s straightforward and fearless, that’s Suzune’s true personality and there’s nothing more to it. That’s the only time Kikyo was showing her true self to Kiyotaka.
4. Yosuke Hirata
Yosuke Hirata is a very friendly guy who rarely loses his cool. He acts very maturely and sensibly. He’s a natural leader and his whole class looks up to him. He’s very warm and nice towards everyone. Many girls in his class are attracted to him because of his helpful and loving nature. He was very helpful toward Kei and even got into a relationship with her just to save her from bullies who were constantly pestering her.
Despite being a great leader and diplomat, Yosuke tends to break under pressure. He’s also very naive at times. He’s prone to breaking down and letting his anxiety cloud his perception. Yosuke doesn’t realize the influence he holds. By nature, Yosuke is one of the purest characters in Classroom of the Elite.
5. Airi Sakura
Airi is a very shy girl who stays away from any kind of unwanted attention. She’s unable to speak her mind and tends to stay quiet most of the time even when she has some valuable information to let everyone know. She’s seen to be very nervous and anxious around other people.
Airi likes taking pictures of herself and holds her camera very close to her. She really likes the way she looks in the photos. She’s greatly inspired by Kiyotaka and also respects him. She also starts developing feelings for him. She started blushing heavily inKiyotaka’s presence but was never able to confess her feelings to him.
6. Honami Ichinose
Honami is the most genuine character in Classroom of the Elite. She’s kind, innocent, and pure. She strongly condemns bullying and is extremely against the use of violence. She’s very helpful and supportive toward others. She can lift up anyone’s mood around her and brings out the best in others.
Honami stays calm most of the time and never lets her anger and frustration get the best of her. She’s intelligent, cool, and calm-minded. Honami is popular amongst both male as well as female students. She never acts harshly with anyone no matter how rude they are to her. She’s very honest about her feelings and is not two-faced in any way. She’s also not a judgemental person. Having a strong sense of justice, she’s not afraid of calling out anyone who is doing something wrong. Honami is a literal ball of sunshine.
