There are a total of eight rabbit Pokemon. Out of these eight, only five can be categorized as such, while the other ones look just like rabbits. That’s why they’re included in this list. Anyways, these Pokemon are Azumarill, Buneary, Lopunny, Bunnelby, Diggersby, Scorbunny, Raboot, and Cinderace. Let’s talk about these Pokemons in detail now!
8. Azumarill
Have you ever heard about fairy water-type Pokemon? Me neither! However, Azumarill is a fairy water-type Pokemon that was introduced in Generation II. It’s such a cute Pokemon. Its appearance is of two large floppy ears which are half blue and half white. Azumarill has small arms without fingers.
One of the most important features of Azumarill is its zig-zag tail with a blue ball at its end. Whenever Azumarill has to perform an attack, the ball at the end of its tail starts to glow! Now, that sounds quite magical, doesn’t it?
Azumarill tends to help Pokemons in danger underwater by making a balloon of air so that the other Pokemon can breathe underwater! That proves how compassionate and empathetic Azumarill is.
Indeed, every Pokemon shows a certain type of behaviour and acts accordingly. Just like that, we’ve learned about Azumarill’s personality. If we talk about its final form, it evolves from Marill at the level 18.
There are some interesting facts about Azumarill. Let me tell you about them! Azumarill is friends with the Pichu brothers. Its name is a mix of its previous two names that were Azurill and Marill. Pokemon Black 2 and White 2 are the only games where Azumarill is under-leveled.

It is known to become powerful with training since its “Huge Power” is an ability which enables its attacks to do double damage. 7. Buneary
Buneary is a normal type of Pokemon that is also included in the list of rabbit-type Pokemons. It gets introduced in Generation IV. Buneary is a brown bunny with yellow-pale colored ears that look very fluffy. There are also pink undersides on its ears. It also has a pink nose that you might want to poke at times. Buneary has pale eyebrows and they’re also very fluffy.
Who doesn’t love a fluffy rabbit? Well, Buneary has a small body with thin and short arms. It also has three finger paws. Its feet also have three toes along with big pink paws on its undersides.
When it comes to Buneary’s behavior, it’s very sharp and wary of its surroundings. Whenever it feels threatened, it perks up its ears and uncoils them so that it can hit the opponent powerfully. With such a powerful hit, the opponent turns into dust or remnants. Whenever Buneary feels unwell, its ears get rolled up.
However, whenever Buneary feels cold, it tucks itself into its fur to stay warm and cozy. I know you all are probably wanting to pet Buneary. It’s a cuddle-able Pokemon. One feature that makes Buneary stand out is its speed!
It can run very fastly whenever in danger and it can also use its ears just to hit the opponents, making them shrink during the battle. Sounds pretty cool, right? It evolved into Lopunny with high-friendship and high-level skills!
This might sound very ironic but Buneary can learn Frustration while evolving even though it evolves by happiness. Buneary is the sixteenth Pokemon to be made into a puppet by the Japanese people. So, that proves Buneary’s merch is quite popular in Japan!

6. Lopunny
Lopunny is also one of the rabbit-type Pokemons s. It is the evolved formof Buneary. Lopunny was also introduced in Generation IV. For its appearance, it has pale-gold fluff hanging from its ears along with a taller body. These fluffs also cover its arms and legs. Lopunny has red eyes with black and white coatings.
For its mega evolution, it can shed the fur on its neck, fingers, legs, and upper torso. Its body forms black patterns on the legs. Its fluff becomes more round as it evolves. However, it becomes happier with its evolution.
When it comes to its personality, Lopunny has always been very calculated and wary of its surroundings. Whenever it senses a threat, it keeps its powerful kicks ready! It can also use its cute fluffy ears to whip and defend itself from further dangers.
Even though Lopunny is very timid yet it’s quick to run off during the very first sign of danger. When there’s no threat, Lopunny is relaxed. It just wants you to touch its fluff gently. It can also change its fur by replacing it with thick fur that can insulate it for winter.
After its mega evolution, Lopunny becomes quite violent since its fur starts to shed. So, as it evolves, it becomes more and more frustrated. Would you want to pet Lopunny?
5. Bunnelby
Bunnelby is a funny looking rabbit of normal type. It gets introduced during the VI generation. It is a small, fragile, rabbit-like Pokemon. Bunnelby has large gray brown ears with some pink fur inside. It also has a large gray head along with large eyes. Its black pupil makes it look very cute. Bunnelby’s neck is surrounded by brown fur with a gray tail emerging from the back. It has gray paws and brown toes. Yes, it’s not your average rabbit.
When it comes to its behavior, Bunnelby is very energetic and a revolutionary Pokemon. It uses its big ears to dig things, shovel dirt, and even cut trees! Imagine having Bunnelby’s ears. The main strength of Bunnelby is its digging. It can dig for a whole night and still not get tired.
Bunnelby can dig tunnels around the burrows just to practice its ears’ strength. These tunnels can also cause much confusion to its opponents. This type of Pokemon is known to pulverize stone as well! Can you guys believe that Bunnelby is THIS strong?
This Pokemon mainly eats the roots of the plants and also through deep digging, it gets near to the stronger roots. So, as a result, it ends up eating stronger roots.

4. Diggersby
Diggersby is the evolved formof Bunnelby. It is a normal and ground type rabbit Pokemon which gets introduced in Generation VI. It is a large Pokemon with a bulky and muscular body. It also has a round belly. Diggersby’s fur is gray and it has brown patches as well.
On the tips of its ears, it has these brown patches. Diggersby’s face is round with brown whiskers on its cheeks. It has a very cute pink nose that is a triangle.
With its large arms, it can easily lift heavy things and destroy its opponents. It rarely uses its thin arms with small paws that can dig quite deep.
When it comes to Diggerbys behavior, its quite helpful. With its unlimited strength, this Pokemon is used to assist the construction workers. Raboot is the second evolution of the Scorbunny line . It is known as a bipedal rabbit with white head and red eyes. Yes, it’s your average rabbit. We always come across rabbits with red eyes. They’re absolutely adorable.
Anyways, Raboot likes to keep its paws into its fur of the abdomen. This helps Raboot prevent heat loss. It can also kick berries around with feet. Raboot kicks berries in order to practice its evolution’s special move known as the Pyro Ball! This must be done before swallowing the berry.
Since Raboot has a thicker fur, it can have high resistance against the cold. It can also control the fire powers to perform its attacks in the best possible way! If he wants to perform the fiery headbutts and kicks, it has to raise the body temperature, especially its feet and forehead.

Cinderace is the evolution of Raboot and the final evolution in the Scorbunny line. It is also a fire type Pokemon that looks like a rabbit. This Pokemon was introduced in Generation VIII. It is a much larger form of Raboot and Scorbunny.
If you take a closer look at him, you’ll think, “oh! Cinderace is wearing a tank top!” But that’s because of the shoulder bands over his arms and neck.
