Pokemon GO has been the hype since it was released last 2016. Many players are OBSESSED at this game, and I for one is playing this game too, which I tell you, it’s seriously fun!
Anyways, players can now level up to 50 thanks to a recent major update to the game! Nonetheless, the requirements for one to reach level 50 is not the same as what it was before. Since, for this one, it’s gonna take a lot of your time and you’ll need to use up what you have experienced so far in playing this game.
With that, here are all of the Level Requirements from 40 to 50 in Pokemon GO. Also, I included some tips for you guys to keep in mind when you are trying to level up, hopefully it would be helpful for you and your adventure! So, shall we begin?
REQUIREMENTS FOR LEVEL 40-50 IN POKEMON GO
Level 41
In order for you to obtain this level you’ll be needing exactly 6 million EXP. That means, you’ll be doing some tasks for you to reach that level which is through– powering up twenty times a Legendary Pokemon, winning at least 30 raids, and lastly, the tricky part is catching a huge amount of pokemon in just one day. To be precise, there are exactly two hundred of Pokemons that you should catch.
Once you have finished doing all these tasks required, you’ll be getting rewards for your hard work! The prizes would include; twenty pieces of Ultra Balls, Max Revives, Max Potions, and Razz Berries as well as an Incubator, a Premium Raid Ticket and an XL Candy.
Although, it can be considered that your enemy here for you to reach this level is this two hundred pokemons that you’ll be needing to catch. Well, catching a massive amount of Pokemon or even weird Frog Pokemon if you have no choice in just a single day is no easy feat. Let alone, TWO HUNDRED of them!
But, fear not my dear readers/ players, I have one piece of advice in order for you to level up! The method is simple: wait until the next Pokemon Community Day– which is held monthly, and then head to the place where the Pokemons were spawned. The items you’ll be needing are of course, two hundred Pokeballs and an Incense, this is for you to increase your probability of having a flock of Pokemons around you.
With that, all you have to do is go crazy and get those Pokemons! And trust me, you’ll be able to catch two hundred of them in no time! Here is a table for you as a guide to reach level 41:
Level 42
Once you have reached level 41 then your next goal will be reaching level 42! With that, the EXP you’ll be needing will also increase. For you to move up to the next level you need to garner a whopping amount of seven million EXP!
For you to achieve this level, you will be completing tasks that are required for you to go up! These tasks include: using items in order for the pokemon to evolve—at least fifteen times, making an excellent throw thrice, catching pokemon through using two hundred pieces of berries, and evolving Eevee into its different kinds of evolutions.
Now for the rewards, you’ll be able to get the same prizes as the previous one that were mentioned and an additional twenty pieces of Nanab Berries!
If you have noticed, the hard part in the required tasks would be evolving Eevee since there are eight distinctive types of it which are; Espeon, Flareon, Glaceon, Jolteon, Leafeon, Sylveon, Umbreon, and Vaporeon. With that, you’ll be needing 25 Evee candies for you to evolve them into their distinct types. Unfortunately, the evolution would be at random, like gacha.
However, lucky for you guys, I have a very helpful tip for you so that you won’t have a hard time in this task anymore! One popular trick is to name them—to be precise, in order for you to get the particular evolution you want is through giving these Eevees a specific name.
But be aware that this method can only work once by each evolution, it cannot be used again. With that in mind, here are the lists of names for them!
- Sakura for Espeon
- Pyro for Flareon
- Rea for Glaceon
- Sparky for Jolteon
- Linnea for Leafeon
- Kira for Sylveon
- Tamao for Umbreon
- Rainer for Vaporeon
Now that you know the way, you can now do this required task at ease and will be able to level up once you’ve finished everything!
Level 43
Now for this level, in order for you to move on to the next one, you’ll need to complete the required tasks. These tasks are; catching legendary pokemons– at least five of them, obtaining five Platinum medals, using two hundred super effective charged attacks and earning a hundred thousand Stardusts. Also, to add to that, you’ll be needing nine million EXP for you to go to the next level!
Once you have finished all the required tasks and completed the EXP needed, you’ll be able to obtain rewards. These consist of the same prizes that were previously mentioned but instead of the twenty pieces of Nanab Berries, you’ll be getting Silver Pinap Berries! Also, you’ll be getting a new avatar pose as well as Pawniard Encounter—which is part of this level’s challenge.
A helpful advice for my dear readers/players for these tasks is that, a good way for you in obtaining these Platinum medals is through constantly being in a Pokemon Battle, having/making Best Friends or by collecting/catching Pokemons in one specific place. In earning the hundred thousand Stardust, it is recommended that you use Star Pieces – this is so that you can obtain thirty percent more Stardust which will be more faster in reaching the set amount.
Level 44
Moving on to this level, but mind you, as the level goes up, the required tasks for you to achieve will get harder. So, you’ll be needing tons of patience and the power of grinding to make your way up!
For the requirements in achieving this level you’ll be needing a massive amount of EXP, to be exact, you should complete eleven million! In addition to that, you’ll be doing certain tasks for you to level up which is through winning Trainer Battles, thirty times, in the Great League, Ultra League, and Master League as well as in GO Battle League, but in here you’ll just need to win twenty times.
Once you have completed these requirements, the rewards you’ll be getting will be the same as the one in Level 41.
Level 45
First of all, if you have reached this level, give yourself a pat on the back because you must have been grinding hard to get into this level! Also, if nobody has said it then I will, good job and you did well in moving up to another level, be proud of yourself and your achievements!
Anyhow, the requirements for you my dear readers/players to achieve this level consists of four important tasks. The first one would be, defeating a hundred Team Go Rocket Grunts, next defeating its boss or leader fifty times. Third, you’ll be purifying a hundred Shadow Pokemons and lastly collecting ten Platinum medals.
Simultaneously, you’ll also be completing an EXP warranting an amount of thirteen million points! After completing all of these, you’ll be able to obtain rewards! It consists of an Elite Fast TM, a Super Incubator, new hat; two pieces of Incense, Lucky Eggs, Lures, and XL Candy and let’s not forget the forty pieces of Ultra Balls and Max Revives– so look forward to them all!
Level 46
Next up is level 46! As you level further up, your tasks would also be getting harder to achieve. However, I would like to tell you guys in advance to not give up in completing the required tasks even though it’s hard, just persevere all the way through! Also, always keep in mind, to take your time in playing the game!
Now the requirements for this level are actually not that difficult if you keep in mind what I said, most especially the “take your time” part. Since the tasks that you’ll be needing to complete are four of it. Not to mention, a total amount of fifteen million and five hundred thousand EXP!
The first one is through completing a hundred of Field Research Tasks which is through twirling Poke Stops. The second task is taking a picture of the same Pokemon for seven days. Next is through making an Excellent Throw for fifty times and lastly, hatching thirty pieces of eggs.
In hatching eggs you can either take your time in doing it since you can only use one free incubator in the game or you can spend your money to make your task more easier to handle and finish.
For the rewards, once you have attained this level. You’ll be getting an Incubator, Premium Raid Ticket, XL Candy, twenty pieces of Max Revives, twenty-five pieces of Max Potions and Razz Berries; and thirty pieces of Ultra Balls.
Level 47
For this level, you’ll have to reach an enormous amount of eighteen million EXP. In addition to that, there will be requirements that you’ll need to complete. These requirements are tasks that consist of being a victor of thirty raids with the use of a team that has different kinds (unique) of Pokemons; another one is in using a Pokemon that has less than one thousand five hundred CP, you’ll have to be the victor of a three star raid.
The next one is through having 6 Pokemons that have powered up through their maximum CP. Lastly, you’ll have to obtain twenty Platinum Medals.
If you find the first tasks a bit complicated, it just basically means that you’ll have to have different types of Pokemon in your group and just win thirty raids. Mind you, the raids can be in the lower tier, it doesn’t have to be a three-star raid. But, if you’re up with the challenge, why not do the three-star raid?
When you reach this level, the rewards you’ll be getting are the same as what was presented in Level 46. However, instead of the twenty five pieces of Razz berries, you’ll be getting Nanab Berries. In addition to that, you’ll be getting a new avatar pose, so look forward to it!
Level 48
Moving forward to Level 48 wherein, the required tasks will surely take much of your time. As I’ve mentioned, just take your time with it and you’ll be able to complete the required tasks as well as the massive amount of EXP. For you to move up to this level, you’ll need a ginormous amount of twenty one million EXP!
Aside from that you’ll also need to finish four specific missions to move up to the next level! You’ll need to secure twenty souvenirs coming from your Buddy. Furthermore, you have to earn hearts together with your Buddy and that is exactly three hundred hearts.
Also, you and your Buddy have to walk at least two hundred kilometers and lastly, in a span of one week you’ll have to walk twenty five kilometers, eight times by yourself. As you can see here, the required tasks for this level is for you to be with your Buddy and spend time with them. Which is kinda wholesome but time consuming.
Nevertheless, the rewards that you’ll be receiving are also similar to the previous ones but without the ‘new avatar pose’. Also, instead of the twenty five Nanab Berries, you’ll be getting fifteen Silver Pinap Berries. Basically, a different kind of berry.
Level 49
To be able to achieve this level, one good tip for you is that you’ll need a lot, I mean a LOT of friends most especially from various locations. This will be helpful for you in order to achieve certain tasks in leveling up. Also, you’ll need to complete a whopping amount of twenty five million EXP!
Furthermore, even though there are four required tasks for you to complete, it is not an easy thing to do. For the first task, you’ll need to make ten trades with the Pokemons that were caught at least three hundred kilometers apart. With that, this is what I meant for having a lot of friends in different locations, you’ll be able to trade Pokemons with them.
Next, the second task would be to attain fifty Lucky Pokemon through trades. One way of doing that is to constantly send gifts to all of your friends, which is actually the third task, but the gifts should be five hundred of it. Once you have done that, you’ll get the title of Lucky Friends, this will then help you in getting those fifty Lucky Pokemons.
For the last task, you’ll need to obtain thirty Platinum Medals. Know that these tasks will be quite a challenge, is it because once you have reached a higher level, the difficulty of the task will increase.
With that, once you have achieved all of the tasks and amassed the twenty five million EXP you’ll be receiving the usual rewards. However, as always there will be a bit of adjustments and changes. You’ll be getting new shoes and for the berry, there would be twenty five Pinap Berries.
Level 50
For the last level which is 50! It is considered to be the boss of the BOSS that will stand in your way in reaching this peak level! Well, that is understandable considering that the rewards that will be given are quite generous!
The reward consists of new clothes, an Elite Charge TM, two XL Candies, Five Incense, Lucky Eggs, Super Incubator and Lure Modules; also there are fifty Ultra Balls and Max Potions. Don’t you think that’s a lot? Well, in order for you to get all these prizes you’ll need to complete the most strenuous requirements in the Game.
The first one is to make nine hundred and ninety nine Excellent Throws. Second, for the next five Legendary Pokemon encounters, you’ll need to catch them. This means, you’ll need a specific Pokeball in order for you to get them as well as luck by your side.
Third, you’ll need to use a Pokemon that has less than two thousand five hundred CP to defeat the leader of Team Go Rocket three times. Lastly, in GO Battle League you’ll need to achieve the tenth level. With that, if you get to finish all of these tasks as well as the EXP, you’ll be able to move up to the next level!
