How Does Saitama Keep Getting Stronger vs. God Garou?

How can we become Heroes?

What does it mean to be a Hero? Well, a Hero is many things but if you had to start somewhere why not start with building up your spirit? Cold? No heater for you. Oh man, are you hot? Don’t think about putting on the AC.

Want a day off? Nope, think again, get off your butt and go train like a man. I don’t care if you might end up vomiting blood, I don’t care if your muscles are making abnormal noises cuz the result is gonna be worth it.

After a year or so you are going to realize that your body is undergoing changes and one day you will wake up BALD but with superpowers. Cheap price for ultimate strength, don’t you think? You can always get a wig or something if you’re that insecure.

But what do I know right? I’m just a puny human, so why not take input from the real thing, the one and only One Punch Man, Saitama. The only MC in the anime history who didn’t turn deadly handsome after a powerup and got a downgrade instead.

In his universe, the guy is the strongest of all beings. He is a man capable of standing up to God himself, however, he was not born like this, when it all started, he was just like us, so how did he get so strong?

The Truth Behind Saitama’s strengthThe Truth About his Strength

Don’t just take my word for it, I’m just relaying what the Hero told us. According to him, he got this strong because he did 100 push-ups, 100 sit-ups, 100 squats, and a 10k run every day for three years.

When his training ended, Saitama was transformed, his physical abilities were off the charts and he drew his power from sheer perseverance, unlike the evil monsters who tapped into their hatred and insecurities to get stronger.

Nonetheless, I don’t think I need to tell you this, but things don’t really add up, right? I mean this is a training even I could go through, and Saitama is a man that is said to be stronger than the overpowered Saiyan, Goku, a man that actually trained with Gods.

Now try to keep up with me, I believe I have quite a nice theory explaining why this peculiar hero is overpowered.

Let’s jump to Chapter 88 and take Dr. Genus from the “House of Evolution” as the first witness we call to the stand. For those who already read the manga, you already know that this group is trying to create perfect humans by artificially evolving them.

Just imagine the face of the man when he saw a guy that is the incarnation of what he is trying to make, the only difference is that he got there through natural means. He was so discouraged that he abandoned the project.

What are those natural means you ask? Well, it’s simple, Saitama just pulverized all his limiters, limiters placed by God to stop mortals from surpassing their capabilities.

Don’t take it the wrong way, that was actually a good move from his side since they are here to protect us. We have seen what happens when they are removed, and it is not pretty.

The excess of power will consume the human body, destroying it from the inside out until it completely changes it into a monster with no reason or will. That’s what happened to Garou in Chapter 88.

So how do you break limiters exactly? Second witness to the stand please, Psychosis, the floor is yours. According to her the only way to break them is to conquer death, not just once or twice but multiple times as well or else it would be too easy.

This was proven by Garou as well, in Chapter 88 when he lost to Royal Reaper and he was left in an atrocious state, blood gushing out of everywhere, he was at the end of the road when he began to monstrificate and turned into a rampaging beast.

That also means that at some point Saitama managed to conquer death as well in one way or another.

While Garou did it by risking his life fighting any super strong opponent he could find, Saitama did it through very very very very very hard work. His torture training might have put the normal him in a near-death state more than once.

Yeah, your right that might not be enough to convince everyone so let’s dig deeper into the authors’ inspiration for Saitama.

Where was Saitama inspired from?Where was Saitama inspired from 1

Turns out that it is all related to Egyptian Mythology. Yeah, you heard that right, I’m not even kidding.

So, God is basically the incarnation of Osiris, the Egyptian God of the Moon, many aspects in the manga prove that point, however, I don’t wanna get into too much details since the spotlight is on Saitama alone right now.

Since God is the moon, just guess what Saitama represents. It doesn’t require a genius to get it, obviously, he is the sun. Pop Quiz: Who is the Egyptian God of the Sun? Times Up, it’s Ra.

Ra was considered by his worshipers as the creator of the universe, the creator of life. He was the King of the Gods and overpowered he was.

Oh, I think I just discovered another mystery, I know why he became bald, to make him look more like the sun! Every time Saitama is depicted in the series there is the sun behind him as if it’s presenting him and it’s always reflecting on his perfectly shaved head.

So, what proves that Saitama is Ra? First of all, we have Taiyo-man. Taiyo-man is one of the authors’ previous works. Taiyo means sun in Japanese, so that’s that. And we can see Saitama reading the book in the series.

Second of all, I don’t know if you knew this, I’ll bet that you don’t, but Ra has a human counterpart. In the series, the counterpart is King, that is why all the feats that are said to be Kings are actually Saitamas.

Finally, it is said that humans came to be born from Ra’s sweat and tears. In chapter 86, when Dr. Genus was explaining the limiter thing, we see a flashback of when Saitama was breaking his and what do you know, he was crying and sweating. He woke up as Ra in a way and obtained the power to challenge God.

Why does Saitama keep on getting stronger? Why Does Saitama Keep on Getting Stronger

In the web novel, chapter 119, it was stated that humanity had survived through two eras of change, evolving at each step. Now we are entering the third since monsters are getting stronger and stronger and it is time for humans to evolve once more.

The first human that is undergoing the change is Saitama. He will become the first perfect human in the third era of evolution that is coming. So, technically, he is the strongest right now because he is the only one who evolved and adapted to the new era.Evolution e1662197264509

However, that change in the environment wasn’t just the work of hazard, it was put in motion by God to force the humans to seek more strength. And you know that when people desperately want something, they become easier to manipulate.

See, the all mighty God is imprisoned on the moon and needs us to free him. You’re gonna have to come back for another video if you wanna know why that is, another theory is brewing.

Closing ArgumentSaitama

God was watching when Saitama had his final fight with Garou, to confirm his theory with his own eyes. Saitama is the ultimate evolution of man who perfectly broke his limiters.

Why did he need to make sure, cuz he wants to make him his trump card in the plan he has been cooking up for eons.

However, Saitama has become limitless. Garou who also broke his limiters reverted back more than once to his original state, losing his power in the process because his method was not complete. He didn’t undergo a perfect evolution.

Saitama will keep on getting stronger and stronger as there is nothing stopping him, nothing in his way, nothing holding him back. His body will stay just fine, except for the baldness of course, and at some point, he will be able to eradicate evil, God, for good and save humanity in the process.
