Ready? Alright! Let’s kick it!

GARP IS GONNA DIE?!
Chapter 1080 Recap

In Chapter 1080, Koby was abducted by the Blackbeard Pirates! Teach wanna use him as a bargaining chip to make the island a legitimate kingdom!
But Koby was like: Nah, that ain’t gonna work! Because I am a part of a secret organization called SWORD! Yeah, Koby just revealed that “secret” to a pirate. Good job Koby!

BTW what the heck are you doing here, Kuzan?! I know you joined the Blackbeard Pirates, but why? Are you a spy or something?
I mean, you could have joined Shanks, you know? Because, you two might “relate to each other.”

Okay, I think this is not the right time to spill the juicy details, we’ll talk about it later! Anyways, Kuzan explained what SWORD is, but Blackbeard doesn’t care and he ain’t budging the deal! (Manga Chapter 1080)

Yet, I gotta admit, Blackbeard is pretty badass, you know? And he’s planned everything so smoothly! From Drum Island to Marineford, then abducting Moria, hunting down devil fruit users, and now Koby? (Manga Chapters 133, 576, 925, & 1059)
Oh! Speaking of Moria, thanks to Perona by the way for helping our boy Koby escape! (Manga Chapter 1080)

Yet don’t get me wrong! I’m still pissed that Blackbeard is the reason why Ace died. Yeah, he’s a traitor, a backstabbing bastard, but we gotta admit, that Blackbeard is very cunning.
Teach truly lives up to the name of D. And now, with his latest moves, it seems like he’s about to stir up another storm…
As Koby was escaping, to his surprise, SWORD agents suddenly came to rescue him! There’s Kujaku, Hibari, and Prince Gus! Damn, these guys are cool!
But you ain’t seeing the good part yet!
A ship flung into the sky! Right above the clouds, they’ve heard him laughing! Oh boy! Now you’ve done it you bunch of scallywags! These pirates are so screwed, they can’t even get rid of the fear on their faces!
Garp jumps off his ship, and unleashes his fist of justice!!! Ravaging the pirate island! DAMN! What a dramatic entrance! That punch was like a freakin’ nuclear bomb!!! Right at the end of the chapter, I can’t believe what I saw!

I never imagined that Garp is capable of such a thing!
The Theory

Now, that we’ve witnessed a fraction of his might, it’s no wonder Garp was once feared as a demon. (Manga Chapter 708)

Garp even mentioned in Chapter 1081 that he was disappointed and said that he lost his “touch.”

Now, I can’t stop thinking about what horrors he could unleash during his prime.
But, why does every time an old, powerful dude make a dramatic entrance with their ship feel like déjà vu?
I’m trying to say that this is exactly what happened back in Marineford! When Whitebeard came to rescue Ace! (Manga Chapter 551)

And I have this terrible feeling that it might happen… Garp might meet the same fate as Whitebeard!
He might be OP, but we don’t know what kind of power Blackbeard is hiding under his darkness.
So, let me lay out all the patterns on the table:
Pattern 1: The Cycle of Demands

So, Ace was captured by Blackbeard and made himself a warlord.
Now, he has captured Koby as a bargaining chip to make Pirate Island not only a legitimate kingdom but will also make himself a king! But what are the benefits of making Beehive a real nation?

To be honest, I’m not sure, yet I have a feeling he might get free access again as a king, just like he did in Impel Down when he was a warlord.
And you know what?
I think that one of his ultimate objectives could be to infiltrate the Holy Land. As a king, he would have the opportunity to participate in the Reverie.

Yet, those are just my speculations! Anyway, let’s get to the theory!
So, he always captures someone special to his target to lure them out. He lured out Whitebeard and killed him, and then he obtained his devil fruit. (Manga Chapter 577)

Now, he’s luring out Garp to kill him too, which will earn him even more reputation for taking down the legendary hero of the Marines!

Or maybe he’s just using Koby as bait to lure out Garp, capture the Vice Admiral, and swap him with Koby. Having Garp as a hostage increases the chances of the World Government agreeing to his demands!
I know that Garp is strong! But, just like I said, we can’t underestimate Blackbeard!
Pattern 2: Dramatic Entrances

Let’s take a closer look at the second pattern. We need to go back a few chapters to Marineford.
Do you remember when Whitebeard made his grand entrance with his ship, Moby Dick?

He and his crew concealed themselves with bubble coats and went underwater to launch their surprise attack! (Manga Chapter 551)

Interestingly, Garp also pulled off a similar stunt with his ship, but Instead of attacking from underwater, they took to the sky!
Pattern 3: Displaying their Strengths

After their dramatic entrances, we witnessed their powers…
Whitebeard’s Devil Fruit shook and cracked the very air, causing sea quakes and massive tsunamis!
Now Garp shows up to rescue his apprentice, unleashing an explosive force of Haki that he called! GALAXY IMPACT!

What a truly epic display of power!
Pattern 4: Kuzan “Aokiji”

But do you remember what happened after Whitebeard unleashed his wrath?
Remember the guy who made the first move?
There’s no need for that fancy silhouette, we all know it’s Kuzan!

So, Whitebeard’s tsunami was stopped by Aokiji’s “ICE AGE!” (Manga Chapter 553)
Now, on Pirate Island, who was the first guy to try and stop Garp? Well, let me tell you because it ain’t obvious enough! It’s Kuzan! (Manga Chapter 1081)
Before we hit the main point, let me tell you something else…
After the Paramount War, Sengoku retired and wanted Aokiji to be his successor. (Manga Chapter 594)
However, Sakazuki disagreed and fought Kuzan for the position of the next Fleet Admiral. As a result, Akainu won while Kuzan lost his leg in the process. (Manga Chapter 1081)

Now, here’s what I’m trying to say:
Have you heard the theory that Hibari is Akainu’s daughter?

It’s based on the fact that they both speak the same “Hiroshima dialect,” but it’s the only evidence so far. If it’s true, it could explain why Aokiji froze the poor girl! (Manga Chapter 1081)

Kuzan, what are you doing? Don’t try to hit on some young girl! That’s not cool, man.
Okay now enough with the “grudge” theory, let’s go back to the topic!
To be honest, I’m still confused about Aokiji’s motive.
He is currently the “Tenth Captain” of the Blackbeard Pirates and is fighting his former mentor. I can’t help but think about what will happen if Blackbeard returns after destroying the Heart Pirates. (Manga Chapter 1081)

Will Teach do the same thing he did with Whitebeard and kill Garp? I have a bad feeling that Aokiji might be involved in Garp’s death. Honestly, that would be such a heartbreaking scene.
Conclusion

But imagine! What if Garp’s death triggers the next big war?
I mean, just think about it – pirates, revolutionaries, and marines all looking for revenge. And what if Blackbeard’s plan is to bring them all together for one epic showdown? Destroying everything and everyone. With him coming out on top as the king of the world?
Don’t shed tears just yet! It hasn’t happened yet and anything is possible!
But what if Blackbeard has an even deeper motive for killing Garp? A sinister plan that involves the fulfillment of revenge for his father…
