The Straw Hat Crew seems to be complete with Luffy, Zoro, Nami, Sanji, Usopp, Chopper, Robin, Franky and Brook. However, there are a bunch of characters that we feel should join the Mugiwara Pirates. One Piece, being one of the Best Shounen Anime of all time, has a massive cast and their individual powers and skills will definitely be beneficial for our group. So today, we’ve listed those characters from One Piece that we think should join the Straw Hat Pirates. Are you guys ready? Let’s get started!

CHARACTERS FROM ONE PIECE WHO SHOULD JOIN THE STRAW HAT CREW
15. Perona
Perona, a Mysterious Four member, possesses the power of the Hollow-Hollow Fruit allowing her or giving her the power to make ghosts, also known as Hollows. Her Negative Hollows make others depressed if they come near her Hollows. Perona never really struck us as a villain along with the entire Moria Crew. Perona had nothing going on in her life and was stuck at the creepy island. She would’ve been a good addition to our Straw Hat Crew and her power would be really beneficial for them.
14. Bellamy
Bellamy used to be a part of the Bellamay Pirates and a former member of the Donquixote Pirates. He used to be a highly arrogant and violent man. He always underestimated his opponents and that’s exactly the reason why he lost against Luffy. He turned into a broken man and started to respect Luffy. He also wanted to turn his life around now. I believe that if he spent some time with the Straw Hat Crew, he would go through massive character development. He would develop good values as well as become a reformed person.
13. X Drake
X Drake is one of the Pirates who are considered to be the “Worst Generation”. He joined the Marines and achieved the rank of Rear Admiral. He helped the Straw Hat Pirates by betraying CPo. He also defended Chopper as well as the other crew members which shows that he’s eligible to be the part of Luffy’s crew. X Drake also feels grateful towards the crew because they took down the Donquixote Pirates who were responsible for X Drake’s worst night ever. 12. Sabo
Sabo is the Revolutionary Army’s Chief of Staff. He was born in a noble family and ran away from home at the age of 10 in order to become a pirate. During the Dressrosa Arc, he acted as an ally of the Straw Hat Crew. He didn’t like the fact that he was born into a noble family and is ashamed of his noble blood. He was close to Monkey D Dragon as well as Ace. He’s also the sworn brother of Luffy which makes him a suitable candidate for joining the Straw Hat Pirates.
11. Marco
Marco is the former First Division Captain of the Whitebeard Pirates and a right hand man to Edward Newgate. He’s shown to be a calm and level-headed guy who thinks before taking action. The only time he would lose his cool is when Edward Newgate was in danger. Marco has assisted our crew in their mission to dethrone Kaido. Marco also had an amazing brotherly kind of relationship with Ace, which makes him an ally of Luffy as well and the rest of his crew. Marco’s medical skills will also prove to be extremely beneficial to the Straw Hat Crew. He’s also considered one of the strongest characters from One Piece.
10. Otama
Otama is a young girl from the Kuri region of the Wano country. She used to look up to Ace and wanted to join his crew four years back. Ace also promised her that she would take her to explore the sea if she grew up to be a strong Kunoichi. However, Otama is pretty far from that and Ace is no more so Luffy should take on his brother’s will and make Otama a part of his crew. Otama is adored by all of the members of the Straw Hat Crew and they should take her in without a second thought.
9. Momonosuke
Momonosuke is the son of Kozuki Oden. When Kaido learned about his existence, he made it his mission to exterminate Momonosuke, leaving no Kozuki behind. Momonosuke is supposed to rule Wano when Kaido is dethroned. Momonosuke developed a strong friendship with the Straw Hat Crew which makes him a suitable member for the Crew. His ability to be able to communicate with anything will definitely prove to be a powerful weapon for our Straw Hat Crew.
8. Bartolomeo
Bartolomeo is the Captain of the Barto Club who wanted to win the Mera Mera no Mi fruit and participated as a Gladiator in the Corrida Colosseum However, he couldn’t win the fruit in the end but what he won was the friendship of Luffy. He possesses the power of Bari Bari no Mi that allows him to generate barriers in front of him in order to protect himself from enemy attacks. His defense oriented power is going to be beneficial for our Straw Hat Crew when they’re facing multiple enemies. 7. Bon Clay
Bon Clay aka Bentham used to be one of the agents of Baroque Works. He used to be very annoying initially and was always in our crew’s way. However, he befriended Luffy later and even sacrificed himself for Luffy and his crew. He’s very flamboyant and loud. He’s always shown to be having fun and dancing. He even helped Luffy in Impel Down and showed him the prison’s depths. With that being said, Bon Clay would have been a great addition to our Straw Hat Crew as a clown.
6. Rebecca
Rebecca is the former Crown Princess of Dressrosa. She was imprisoned and forced to fight as a Gladiator for Mer Mera no Mi. She appears to be a calm and composed lady. She absolutely despises Donquixote Doflamingo which makes her a natural ally to our Straw Hat Crew. She wants to obtain the power of Mera Mera no Mi fruit in order to take Doflamingo down. She’s shown to be fearless and proud. However, she tends to get emotional at times. She also starts biting her lip when she’s anxious. All in all, she’s highly suitable to join the Straw Hat Crew.
5. Koby
Koby is currently a Marine Captain who was saved by Luffy from Alvida. He was the first person that Luffy befriended when he started his journey. During the Romance Dawn Arc, he’s Luffy’s ally which makes him eligible to join the Straw Hat Crew. He initially used to be timid and cowardly but later became quite reliable and responsible. His addition in the Straw Hat Pirates would be quite beneficial for our group as he would be able to give an insight into the Marines future plans.
4. Boa Hancock
Boa Hancock is the Captain of the Kuja Pirates who considers herself extremely beautiful. Because of that, she’s shown to be highly arrogant. Her devil fruit allows her to bewitch any person she uses it on. Luffy was the only one who didn’t get under her influence and that’s why Boa fell in love with him. His obsession with Luffy was crazy and Luffy would be able to control her really well if she joined the Straw Hat Crew. Her Devil Fruit is also super-useful. However, she’s too busy being the Captain of her own group of pirates. We really wish she could join the Straw Hat Pirates! She’s also one of the best One Piece waifus.
3. Carrot
Carrot is one of the members of the Warrior Beast Tribe. She’s super-energetic and friendly. She is quite similar to Luffy and her presence in the Straw Hat Crew is going to keep the energy levels of the group members always high. She possesses great physical strength as well and agility which makes her a good fighter. She also risked her life in order to protect Sanji so the rest of the group acknowledges her efforts. 2. Vivi
Vivi is the princess of Alabasta and is currently residing there. She has a great bond with the crew and considers her to be a part of them. However, her absence from the crew for the most part of the series doesn’t really make her a member. It would’ve been great if she always traveled with the Straw Hat Crew on their adventures.
1. Yamato
Yamato is Kaido’s daughter who looks up to his enemy, Kozuki Oden. She even rebelled against Kaido and paired up with our crew in order to dethrone him and put an end to his cruelty. She had a close bond with Ace which naturally makes her Luffy’s ally. She’s extremely strong and will prove to be a very valuable part of the Straw Hat Pirates.
