We’ve probably seen a lot of loli Demon Lords in the realm of fantasy anime, but none are as weird as this little girl. In Mushoku Tensei, there are some powerful and scary characters with fitting titles such as Demon God and Dragon God, yet there’s one exception. Let’s meet the Demon Empress who keeps dying and smashes people’s eyeballs if you give her food, Kishirika Kishirisu.

Appearance
The only differences when it comes to the appearance of Kishirika in the various adaptations are the art and a slight change in the shades of purple.

Throughout the series, Kishirika Kishirisu looks like a starved loli cosplayer. Kishirika has purple hair that covers all of her back. She also has horns coming out of the temples of her head. Her outfit consists of black leather shorts with black leggings that connect to her boots. While Kishirika’s top clothes are close to nothing with leather straps covering her breasts and what looks to be horns that wrap around her ribs.
Kishirika also sports two handcuffs with their chains still attached on both her wrists and another solid metal lock on her neck. Her body structure is small and thin with her ribs showing out in the anime. Her skin is pale white and her eyes can change into different colors depending on the type of Demon Eye she uses. Kishirika has sharp teeth and colors her nails black.

Personality
Simply put, Kishirika is a Demon Lord with the body and mind of a 10-year old. She’s carefree and according to Badigadi, she has the form of a child because she died multiple times which emphasizes how laid-back and stupid she is. More a homeless person than a Great Demon Empress, Kishirika spends her days walking wastelands and begging for food in far-flung towns.
Despite being on the verge of starvation in most of her appearances, Kishirika is quite confident and shouts out that she is the Great Empress of the Demon World to which no one believes her. Her carefree nature also translates to how she thanks the people that give her food. Kishirika is not afraid to give Demon Eyes to anyone that helped her such is the case with Rudeus when she suddenly gave him the Foresight or Farseeing Eye (Manga: Chapter 28).
Kishirika is also very helpful, where she aided Rudeus with several requests throughout his journey but bluntly declined any that involved Hitogami. However, she still forgets about her responsibilities and just goes on a journey spreading her name and only gives attention to things that interest her.

Although nobody believes her when she yells that she’s the Great Empress of the Demon World, if she goes back to her true form she can surely strike fear in the hearts of those that oppose her.
Kishirika also has a lot of nicknames and titles other than the Great Empress of the Demon World. The Immortal Demon Empress, Demon Empress of Resurrection, Demon Empress of Demon Eyes, and many more. She influences the Demon Continent especially since she is the fiance of Demon Lord Badigadi. Kishirika has a Demon Lord backing her up as well as an army. She was well-known during the war of Humans and Demons.
Magical Abilities
Kishirika doesn’t have the nickname Demon Empress of Demon Eyes for nothing. Demon Eyes can be obtained by having the Laplace Factor such as Sylphy, who instead of gaining a Demon Eye, was gifted green hair and a massive mana pool. Kishirika has 12 Demon Eyes with each having a unique ability.

Magic Power Eyes
Magic Power Eyes are the most abundant of the Demon Eyes since their ability is not as strong as the others. Magic Power Eyes give the user access to the surrounding mana and can use this to directly see the flow of magic around them. The appearance of the Magic Power Eye is like that of a cross-hair with 4 teardrop pupils forming a cross with another pupil in the center. Known users of this Demon Eye are Ghislaine which she used it to detect the abnormal flow of mana before the calamity (Manga: Chapter 16), Kishirika herself, and Baribadomu.
Identification Eyes
Identification Eyes live up to its name. This type of Demon Eyes can be used to detect an object, person, or just about anything in the user’s field of view. Although a great asset, it has its limits. Subjects can only be identified if it is within the knowledge of Kishirika, otherwise it will be designated as unknown. But considering that she lived for a total of 7000 years she probably knows a lot more than your average human. Recorded users of this type of Demon Eye are Cliff and Kishirika only.
X-Ray Eyes
X-Ray Eyes as its name suggests, gives the user the ability to see things on the other side of clothes, walls, and other objects that are hollow on the other side. X-Ray Eyes are the one thing some of you may desire. Don’t try to deny it. If you were given a choice between an eye that looks into the future and an eye that can let you see through clothes, I know which one you’ll pick. Although it can see through dense objects, it cannot see through an entire person or a large clump of magic. Clairvoyant Eyes
Clairvoyant Eyes can grant the user extended vision. Rather than acting like binoculars, the Clairvoyant Eyes only change the point of view of the user. Its effectiveness and range are determined by the size of the user’s mana pool. The Clairvoyant Eyes are very useful for scouting enemy positions and making sure that the road ahead is safe. The Eyes were the second gift of Kishirika to Rudeus and only the two of them are the ones that have used it (Light Novel: Vol. 22).
Foresight Eyes
The Foresight Eyes or the Farseeing Eyes in the manga are the first Demon Eyes that Rudeus received from Kishirika. The Foresight Eyes granted Rudeus the ability to look several seconds into the future as well as predict the results of the subject’s actions. This eye can be easily countered by experienced fighters where Rujierd was able to overpower Rudeus by showing multiple outcomes at once (Manga: Chapter 29). The only known users who got the Foresight Eyes are Rudeus and Kishirika.
Absorption Eyes
Absorption Eyes are probably the type of Demon Eyes suitable to fight mages. The Absorption Eyes give the user the ability to suck out the magic from an opponent but in return, it also absorbs the user’s magic power. This eye is a give-and-take skill and can be dangerous if the user has a low mana pool. Only Kishirika harbors this type of Demon Eyes.
All-Seeing Eyes
The All-Seeing Eyes are considered the upgraded version of the Clairvoyant Eyes. It can see everything in the known world of Mushoku Tensei but can be stopped using barriers of thick magic. The All-Seeing Eyes can also find any subject the user wishes and can be excellent when it comes to spying or monitoring individuals. Kishirika is the only one that has the All-Seeing Eyes.
Absolute Void Eyes
The Absolute Void Eyes are most likely the counter against the All-Seeing Eyes where it grants the user the ability to create a barrier that can even stop physical entrance. The only known user of the Absolute Void Eyes is Randolph Marianne, the Death God.
Magic Eyes of Affection
The Magic Eyes of Affection makes the user loved by those around him and can be mostly used in controlling large crowds or even, if the user desires it, using the populace to take over the throne. Gadalf Rangid, an adventurer that Roxy encountered, is the only known user of this type of Demon Eyes.

Past/History
Not much is known about Kishirika’s past other than during her first appearance in Episode 8, she was already in her third reincarnation. Kishirika also participated in the Great War of Humans and Demons where she and her fiance were apostles of Hitogami. When she lost, she was imprisoned for 300 years which explains the chains wrapped around her body.
Before she met Rudeus, Kishirika first arrived at Rikarisu Town after she wandered the desert. Rudeus, Eris, and Rujierd also passed by Rikarisu on their way back to Fittoa but they didn’t meet. Instead, Cliff Grimoire was the one that gave Kishirika food and so she gave him the Identification Eye and went on her way (Light Novel: Vol. 15).

Demon Lord Badigadi
Demon Lord Badigadi is the fiance of Kishirika and is known as the Demon Lord of Immortality. It’s rumored that he was alive before the Human and Demon War happened. He was formerly associated with Hitogami because he was forced to follow him to protect Kishirika.
Atoferatofe Raibaku
Atoferatofe Raibaku is the sister-in-law of Kishirika and the sister of Badigadi. She is also immortal and one of the most aggressive demons in the Demon Continent. Atoferatofe was defeated by Rudeus. Rudeus was then feared by all of the Demon Lords and was known as a hero. Her strength is unmatchable in her race.
Plot
Kishirika was seen wandering the wasteland and spotted the magical phenomenon using one of her Demon Eyes. She wondered who was behind it because even with her eye she can’t spot the caster. She then decided to go and meet the one responsible for it. (Anime: Episode 8).
While clinging on her life in an alley in Wind Port, Rudeus followed Hitogami’s advice to buy some food from the outdoor stalls and go into the back alleys of the town alone. As Rudeus entered the alley, he saw a little girl being dragged by a man. He shot the man with Stone Cannon. Much to Rudeus’s surprise, when he came up to the girl, Kishirika introduced herself as the Great Empress of the Demon World and although Rudeus did not believe her, he just went with the flow. Kishirika told Rudeus that she was going to make a single wish of his come true, but couldn’t give Rudeus anything he asked for (Manga: Chapter 28). Suddenly, Kishirika stabbed Rudeus’ eye and gave him the Foresight Eye which gave Rudeus the ability to see a few seconds into the future. She then ran away to look for her fiance (Manga: Chapter 29).
The next we hear of Kishirika was when Demon Lord Badigadi challenged Rudeus to a duel of strength. When Rudeus asked again why he desired a duel with him, Badigadi said that Kishirika was always telling him how great Rudeus is, so he became jealous. When the duel started, Rudeus used Stone Cannon with maximum power and blew Badigadi’s top-half all over the place (Manga: Chapter 66).
In their last meeting, Kishirika revealed to Rudeus the truth about the Fighting God and how she and Badigadi were associated with Hitogami. After Rudeus gave her another piece of food, she gave him the Clairvoyant Eye as a reward. Kishirika then said that she no longer wants to get involved with Hitogami before she left (Light Novel: Vol. 22).

Final Verdict
Beware of this little girl as she might just give you a Demon Eye if you give her food. Although a little bit wacky, a lot of fans love her due to her attitude being the exact opposite of what you expect a Demon Empress to have. Kishirika had a crucial part when it came to powering up Rudeus. And because of her giving Rudeus those gifts, Rudeus was able to ascend to become one of the Seven Great World Powers.
