Table of Contents
Genshin Impact is an open-world RPG with massive possibilities of character combinations for players to work around. Different quests will require different types of characters to work with. So, a character list for the players is a necessity for a better understanding of what they need.
All the characters are of different tiers and players need this Genshin Impact character tier list for their upcoming quests. The quests get updated according to the demand and supply of the gamers. The game is bringing out new characters faster now. Thus, the need for the updated tier list came up.
Let’s hope this Genshin Impact character tier list will help you find your favorite party combination for the early, mid, and late game.

Tier C
Amber

HP | 8/20 |
Attack | 8/20 |
Defense | 9/20 |
Total | 25/60 |
The only available Outrider of the Favonius Knights, Amber, is also the three times winner of the Mondstadt Gliding Championship. She is a free character given at a very early stage of the game. Amber looks promising to newcomers to the game but later realizes she is mostly good at talking.
She can be used as both DPS and Support. What’s recommended is that you use her as DPS in the early game and support in the late game. Because her attributes scaling is not up to the mark.
Lisa

HP | 8/20 |
Attack | 9/20 |
Defense | 9/20 |
Total | 26/60 |
Lisa Minci is the librarian of the Knights of Favonius. She is a powerful mage from Sumeru Academia’s most talented graduate in the last 200 years. She is another free-to-play character and is obtained early in the game.
Lisa can be used as Electro DPS, EM DPS, or Off Field DPS character. It is recommended to play her as an Off Field DPS character as she can be used for burst damage during the quick swap. Also, she works well with anemo characters. Thus, she is useful for early gamers.
Aloy

HP | 9/20 |
Attack | 8/20 |
Defense | 10/20 |
Total | 27/60 |
If you have played Horizon Zero Dawn, you’ll probably find her familiar. She is basically the protagonist from Horizon Zero Dawn and the developers of both games agreed to use her as a character in Genshin Impact. She is a very capable hunter, but before becoming a hunter, she used to be an outlaw.
Aloy is played as a burst hybrid support as she is not very useful as a DPS character. She used to be very useful in a party but as the patches came on, new characters quickly replaced her. Although, she can be useful in a few circumstances.
Barbara

HP | 9/20 |
Attack | 8/20 |
Defense | 11/20 |
Total | 28/60 |
Barbara is a cheerful character and her dialogues are enjoyable. She is a priestess of the Church of Favonius. She claims herself as an idol after learning this word from a magazine without even knowing the exact meaning. She is another free-to-play character but is to be collected from the Baptism of Song event.
She can be played as DPS and support just like Amber. But, Barbara has better potential than Amber in the late game. Her Elemental Burst can be used early with a quick shift of character. Her ER can heal too, thus, she is used by players as a hybrid character.
Tier B
Traveler

HP | 10/20 |
Attack | 9/20 |
Defense | 10/20 |
Total | 29/60 |
The Traveler is the protagonist of the game. At the beginning of the game, you get to choose to play as the male or female twin. A mysterious god stops them, separates them from each other and blocks their ability to travel between worlds, keeping them stranded on different worlds.
The best way to play the Traveler is either as Physical DPS or Anemo DPS. Although the Physical DPS style is not recommended for later in the game. But, Anemo DPS can be of some use in the end game.
Chongyun

HP | 10/20 |
Attack | 9/20 |
Defense | 10/20 |
Total | 29/60 |
Chongyun is an exorcist with extra positive energy from Liyue. His energy is so effective that he couldn’t even see any spirit himself as the spirits flee as soon as they sense his energy. This huge advantage has its flaws too. He can’t apprehend heat or strong emotional feelings.
No matter how you set Chongyun, he tends to become a massive Burst Support character. His early game scaling is very low but his Elemental Burst becomes extremely dangerous in the late game, giving him a burst damage advantage over some characters.
Xinyan

HP | 10/20 |
Attack | 9/20 |
Defense | 11/20 |
Total | 30/60 |
Xinyan is a rock n’ roll musician in Liyue. She is considered different as the people of Liyue are not familiar with the type of music she is into. But, she slowly gets a fanbase and is determined to move the people and their predetermined opinions through her music and singing.
Xinyan can be played as DPS and support both. Focusing on her DPS automatically increases her chance to support the whole squad by using one item called Noblesse Oblige. Although using her as support is quite difficult so, focusing on the DPS with her is the better option.
Kaeya

HP | 10/20 |
Attack | 9/20 |
Defense | 12/20 |
Total | 31/60 |
Kaeya gives off mixed vibes early in the game. But later, it is revealed that he is very cunning and crosses some boundaries to meet his ends. He is a captain of the Knights of Favonius. He is obtained in Act I of the prologue and has quite the potential for early game.
With Kaeya, players can fool around a lot; he still might become very useful till the mid-game. There’re opportunities for Kaeya to become a Cryo DPS, Burst Support, or even Physical DPS. Though it is recommended to focus on Cryo DPS with him as it levels quite great with him.

Rosaria

HP | 11/20 |
Attack | 9/20 |
Defense | 10/20 |
Total | 31/60 |
Tier A
Yanfei

HP | 9/20 |
Attack | 12/20 |
Defense | 10/20 |
Total | 31/60 |
Yanfei is a legal adviser, living in Liyue. Her human mother and adeptus father became adventurers and left her for an adventure. Since then, she was being taken care of by Madame Ping.
Yanfei is a balanced DPS character. It’s a bit difficult to set her up for DPS but once the player learns how to use her Hydro in time, she can become a beast in battles. She is especially good in vaporize team. She can make the three normal attacks into charged attacks and it gives a head start in any battle.
Kujou Sara

HP | 9/20 |
Attack | 12/20 |
Defense | 10/20 |
Total | 32/60 |
Kujou Sara is a general of the Tenryou Commission with a very bold speech style. She is very loyal to the Kujou clan as she was adopted by the clan. She is also protective of the Shogun of the clan.
Sara is best used as a fast swapping Burst Support DPS character. She produces high magic damage with Crow feather mechanics. She throws a crow feather after using her Elemental Burst and it gives AoE damage after her EB is finished channeling.
Yun Jin

HP | 10/20 |
Attack | 7/20 |
Defense | 14/20 |
Total | 31/60 |
Yun Jin is an esteemed and famous opera singer in Liyue. She also happens to be the director of the Yun-Han Opera troupe, where she plans out amazing performances (Genshin Impact, Character Description).
Yun Jin is ideally a support unit as her skills can buff the DPS’ normal attacks, she can also be a shielder… well more or less since she’s similar to Beidou in that aspect but still, if you would like to use her then stack up on HP since her shield strength scales from that. Having Yun Jin in your party can be beneficial since she can buff your main damage dealer and at the same time provide Geo resonance!
Thoma

HP | 10/20 |
Attack | 10/20 |
Defense | 12/20 |
Total | 32/60 |
Thoma is a Support character focusing on defense. Ideally, Thoma relies on his Elemental Reaction rate rather than his health rate. Because of the time for his Elemental Burst to be charged, he needs his shield to be better.
Fischl

HP | 10/20 |
Attack | 13/20 |
Defense | 9/20 |
Total | 32/60 |
Fischl’s full name is Fischl von Luftschloss Narfidort, but she calls herself “Prinzessin der Verurteilung”. All these names are so hard to pronounce and her real name is Amy. She has a travel partner as a crow, who she calls Oz. She is a detective from the Adventurer’s Guild and a talkative one too.
Her skills are a bit tricky, she is to be used from off-field as her Burst and Skill both require her crow Oz. Her Elemental Burst has very high damage and with a Cryo party, she can outplay her opponents quite well.
Gorou

HP | 10/20 |
Attack | 9/20 |
Defense | 13/20 |
Total | 32/60 |
Just released on December 14 as a playable character it was hard placing Gorou in the tier list but we can temporarily put him in the A tier from playing so far. He is a leader of Watatsumi Island’s forces that fights against the Vision Hunt Decree.
Initially thought to be a Support character, Gorou can attack 4 shots in a row with his Bow, and charged Bow-shots deal greater damage. When a fully charged arrow is released it causes Geo damage on top of physical damage. When attacked mid-air, Gorou performs a shower of arrows with AoE damage.
Qiqi

HP | 11/20 |
Attack | 11/20 |
Defense | 11/20 |
Total | 33/60 |
Qiqi is basically an undead working as an herbalist at Bubu Pharmacy. Baizhu takes care of her at Bubu Pharmacy in Liyue Harbor. She is one of the least talkative characters with little to no emotion.
Qiqi’s Burst should be used wisely as it takes 80 energy and regenerates slowly, that too when she’s in C1. Thus, she is used as a Support character and uses her Burst as the last resort.
Klee

HP | 11/20 |
Attack | 12/20 |
Defense | 10/20 |
Total | 33/60 |
Klee is an explosive expert of the Knights of Favonius. She is the daughter of the author of the Teyvat Travel Guide, Alice. She also goes by the title “Fleeing Sunlight”.
Even though Klee has huge burst damage output as a Pyro character, she is extremely vulnerable to damage. So, she needs to be placed thoughtfully behind tanks. Jumping around while attacking with her helps a lot.
Ningguang

HP | 11/20 |
Attack | 13/20 |
Defense | 10/20 |
Total | 33/60 |
Ningguang is the wealthiest character from Teyvat. She maintains the Liyue of Qixing and owns the Jade Chamber of Liyue.
Nigguang is generally played as a DPS character but she can be used as a quick swapper too. Her burst damage is extremely high and when switched quickly to other support characters, she can charge her next burst damage attack.
Sayu

HP | 12/20 |
Attack | 11/20 |
Defense | 11/20 |
Total | 34/60 |
Sayu is a chibi ninja from Shuumatsuban. She sleeps a lot because she believes sleeping can make her taller. Though she always looks like she needs more sleep. You might think, as a ninja, she uses her ninja techniques in battles. Yes, she uses them to escape battles and get more sleep!
Sayu might be silly but her abilities and potential makes her one of the unique characters. Sayu heals better when used as hybrid attack builds and her damage increases if only Elemental Mastery is focused. So as a Support, she just doesn’t sit behind and heal, she generates quite the damage for the team.
Sucrose

HP | 12/20 |
Attack | 16/20 |
Defense | 13/20 |
Total | 41/60 |
Sucrose is an alchemist. She is a researcher of the bio-alchemy part. She is an apprentice of the head alchemist of the Knights of Favonius, Albedo.
Her early stats might look like she belongs to Tier A or B, but that’s where you’re wrong. Sucrose is generally one of the best Crowd-Control characters. And that’s not even the best part about her. It is recommended to build Elemental Mastery with Sucrose. She can give her EM to her teammates of their respective elements. That’s the reason she gets that bonus score of 10 for.
Noelle

HP | 14/20 |
Attack | 10/20 |
Defense | 11/20 |
Total | 35/60 |
Noelle is a maid of Knights of Favonius. Her goal is to be close to the knights and learn to be a knight so she can become one herself.
Her character details may sound like she should be played as a Support but in in-game reality, she is more of a DPS character. She does great physical damage when focused on her DPS build. Although, her shield supports a lot for the team even when used as a DPS character.
Beidou

HP | 14/20 |
Attack | 11/20 |
Defense | 10/20 |
Total | 35/60 |
Beidou leads the crew called The Crux in Liyue. Other than leading capabilities, she has immense strength.
She is best used as an off-field DPS character. Her skill removes other elemental statuses as holding her skill gives her an electro status. Her Elemental Burst Storm Breaker takes 80 energy. The duration is 15 seconds and has a CD of 20 seconds. It increases her resistance and decreases incoming damage.
Yoimiya

HP | 14/20 |
Attack | 11/20 |
Defense | 10/20 |
Total | 35/60 |
Yoimiya is the daughter of the previous owner of Naganohara Fireworks, Naganohara Ryuunosuke. She is currently the owner of her parents’ business. She is a colorful character just like the fireworks she sells. She also goes by the name “Queen of the Summer Festival”.
Like most Pyro characters, Yoimiya best works with a DPS build. Her elemental skill levels up very poorly, so it’s better not to spend precious materials on her skill. It’s wiser to spend on her Elemental Burst and normal attack than the skill.
Keqing

HP | 11/20 |
Attack | 15/20 |
Defense | 10/20 |
Total | 36/60 |
Keqing is the Yuheng of the Liyue Qixing. She is a self-dependent character. She likes to develop situations herself rather than wait for someone to find the solutions for her.
Keqing can be played with a physical attack DPS build or Skill Combo Electro DPS build. It’s really applicable and reliable as she can be played both ways. But it is wise to build on her based on her weapon.
Diona

HP | 10/20 |
Attack | 14/20 |
Defense | 13/20 |
Total | 37/60 |
Diona reflects a lot of us in our workplaces as she hates what she does. She is a popular bartender at Cat’s Tail tavern. But, she hates alcohol and the industry that produces wine in Mondstadt.
She is one of the best Support characters till the early late game. She basically produces shields, heals, and cryo for the party. Such characters are usually known as utility supports. Her shield is so good that most of the time, the team doesn’t even need healing. On top of that, she got the burst heal.
Razor

HP | 11/20 |
Attack | 14/20 |
Defense | 13/20 |
Total | 38/60 |
Razor is one of the characters of Genshin Impact with a sad history. He was abandoned at birth by his parents. Luckily, he was raised by his wolfpack from Wolvendom.
Razor produces good critical chances and physical damage. So, it’s wiser to build DPS on him. His elemental burst cleans his status and gains him electro status that helps him with extra electro damage.
Tier S
Mona

HP | 10/20 |
Attack | 16/20 |
Defense | 10/20 |
Total | 56/60 |
Wangsheng Funeral Parlor hides another playable character within. It’s Hu Tao, the current director of the business. She is the seventy-seventh director of the business that was initially a doctor’s office. Talk about bad business turnouts!
Hu Tao is a high DPS build-based character. Both her charged attack and Elemental Burst damage inflicts huge damage output on enemies. She is basically a single target character, so she’s very good with the high damage single target output. And not just damage, she has high health and defense. On top of that, she provides a critical chance for the whole team.
Xiangling

HP | 11/20 |
Attack | 15/20 |
Defense | 13/20 |
Total | 39/60 |
Xiangling is a famous chef from Liyue. She works as a master chef at Wanmin Restaurant. She, along with her father, are the owners of that restaurant. And as she is a Pyro character, she loves hot and spicy food that increases gastronomical problems for regular people. She can be gained for free by clearing Floor 3, Chamber 3 of the Spiral Abyss.
Most of the Pyro characters we’ve seen are good DPS builds just like her. Though it’s tough to build physical DPS on her. The most comfortable way to use her is to build Off-field DPS on her. That way, the maximum damage output can be gained from her.
Jean

HP | 15/20 |
Attack | 13/20 |
Defense | 12/20 |
Total | 40/60 |
It was hard to decide where to put Jean on this Genshin Impact character tier list. She can be of use in a lot of situations and useless at times. Even though we’ve put her on the S-tier on this Genshin Impact character tier list. A lot of people might put her on higher tiers in their Genshin Impact character tier list.
Jean is a Dandelion Knight of the Knights of Favonius. She is also the temporary Grand Master of the Knights of Favonius. Her character is very vanilla and she is the typical righteous leader-like character.
Jean is an Anemo character with air-bending techniques from the air bender Avatar. This means she is an overpowered Anemo character. She can be built as a DPS with supporting abilities of healing. When attacking from the air, she produces damage based on the opponent’s health percentage. Her healing is leveled nicely with her base attack as she levels up.
Ganyu

HP | 1120 |
Attack | 18/20 |
Defense | 10/20 |
Total | 39/60 |
Ganyu has the ability to manipulate elements. She is a half-qillin bound (Illuminated Beast) by Morax. She is currently serving as the general secretary of Liyue Qixing (The Seven).
Ganyu can be built with massive potential in any of the builds possible. But she’s best optimized as Off-field DPS, Melt, or Freeze DPS. She has one of the highest critical damage outputs, with multiple AoE damage outputs. Just like Venti, Ganyu can do high burst damage even at C0. She also deals bonus damage as Cryo Damage.

Kuki Shinobu

HP | 15/20 |
Attack | 7/20 |
Defense | 13/20 |
Total | 35/60 |
This Deputy Leader of the Arataki Gang was once a shrine maiden in the Grand Narukami Shrine. She felt no fun as a shrine maiden and somehow got roped in with Itto’s business. Now, she serves as his trusty sidekick and well, she does her best to get them out of trouble (Genshin Impact, Character Description).
Kuki is the first Electro-healer that now provides a wider array of team compositions. Although she isn’t an ideal DPS since her Electro–scaling is quite sad. But as a support, she can certainly help your team out with healing and elemental reactions.

Candace

HP | 1020 |
Attack | 7/20 |
Defense | 10/20 |
Total | 27/60 |
Candace is the guardian of Aaru Village and as well as the scion of Al–Ahmar. She is very kind to travelers, especially when they visit their humble village (Genshin Impact, Character Description). But be warned, remember to heed her warning when she says that no scuffles are allowed inside the village.
She is an interesting support unit, especially when she has a specific niche support ability. Pairing her with Nilou or any other DPS would be ideal since her Hydro application is far better than her physical damage. Elemental reactions are the best key for utilizing Candace in a team composition. But, there are some dedicated players out there who will make any character a DPS unit.
Diluc

HP | 12/20 |
Attack | 16/20 |
Defense | 13/20 |
Total | 41/60 |
Diluc is the wealthiest character of Mondstadt. He is to Mondstadt what Batman is to Gotham. Other than the rubber suits of Batman and leading a secret double life, Diluc is basically the Batman of Mondstadt. Jokes apart, Diluc used to follow the Knights of Favonius until the untimely death of his father.
Diluc is considered one of the best DPS characters of the game. In most Genshin Impact character tier lists, he takes on one of the top positions. In our Genshin Impact updated tier list, he also takes the place of one of the best DPS characters. But as the meta changed, we decided only having Diluc in a team does not win you all the fights.
Cyno

HP | 10/20 |
Attack | 10/20 |
Defense | 13/20 |
Total | 33/60 |
is the General Mahamatra and deals with troublemakers in Sumer. He leads the Matra and can command subordinates from the Corps of Thirty. He usually strikes fear into the hearts of Akademiya’s researchers. Making sure that ethical guidelines are followed (Genshin Impact, Character Description).
He’s an Electro on-field main DPS, he’s best used this way because his kit is built on him being a selfish DPS. Meaning that once his elemental burst is used, you’ll have to keep using him until his burst’s complete because as soon as you switch to another character that burst is gone.
Xiao

HP | 11/20 |
Attack | 17/20 |
Defense | 14/20 |
Total | 42/60 |
Xiao is one of the adepti. He is also known as Alatus, “Conqueror of Demons” and “Vigilant Yaksha“. He is the only one left from the five Yakshas sent by Morax to protect Liyue from demons and evil gods. He lives in the Wangshu Inn but doesn’t get into any gatherings of crowds.
Xiao is a DPS-based character because he can’t regenerate energy with his skill while his burst is active. But using his skill twice and then using his burst is the most effective. When used with another Anemo character, Xiao becomes more useful as they can help him gain energy.
Tartagalia

HP | 12/20 |
Attack | 16/20 |
Defense | 14/20 |
Total | 42/60 |
Tartagalia is the no. 11 of the Fatui Harbingers. He is also known by the alias, “Childe”. His name carries a fear on the battlefield as he is one of the most dangerous characters of the Harbingers.
Childe is one of the rare Hydro characters that gains power over DPS builds. The most sufficient combo for Childe is a rotation of three consecutive normal attacks and a charged attack. This loop takes more stamina but gives the best damage output.
Tier S+
Arataki Itto

HP | 12/20 |
Attack | 16/20 |
Defense | 15/20 |
Total | 43/60 |
Just recently released, it was both easy to tell and hard to put Arataki Itto in the Genshin Impact Characters tier list. When practicing with Itto, one can easily say he’s one of the best DPS characters but it’s hard to put him in a place because of the current meta of the game.
Arataki Itto is a founding member of the Arataki gang. His gang is famous throughout Inazuma City. Itto is a member of the Crimson Oni family. Even though Itto claims the Arataki gang is his gang, Granny Oni thinks he is just fooling around with his friend.
Albedo

HP | 13/20 |
Attack | 15/20 |
Defense | 17/20 |
Total | 45/60 |
Albedo is one of the most famous characters of the game. He is the head alchemist of the Favonius Knights. Not just that, he is also the lead investigator of the Favonius Knights. The Knights of Favonius are greatly indebted to him for his contribution to the team. Albedo is also known as “Kreideprinz”. He looks like a human but he is a demi-human created by Rhinedottir.
Albedo used to be a hybrid character, but now he is best used as an Off-field DPS. His defense and health got a bit nerfed. His Elemental Particle generation is random but increases with better numbers. It’s still better to use him as a hybrid build rather than focusing on focusing on skill.
Ayato

HP | 10/20 |
Attack | 14/20 |
Defense | 14/20 |
Total | 38/60 |
Ah, Ayato… another character who likes to remind me of how much mora I lack. The head of the Yashiro Commission spends his time dealing with government and affairs (Genshin Impact, Character Description). He’s quite resourceful, eloquent, and cunning. His looks could just wipe me off my feet.
He is a DPS unit that deals Hydro damage, with his elemental skill his attack speed increases. Giving us a similar vibe to the water slashes in Demon Slayer. His elemental burst is similar to Ganyu’s where an AoE will take effect and apply Hydro damage. Making him a good unit for on-field and off-field damage.
Tighnari

HP | 1020 |
Attack | 10/20 |
Defense | 13/20 |
Total | 33/60 |
Tighnari is a Forest Watcher in Sumeru who makes sure the forest is protected. Despite graduating from the Akademiya, he didn’t go down the path of a researcher. Instead, he enjoyed living a solitary life in the Avidya Forest. He is Collei’s master and caretaker. With his knowledge from the Akademiya, he also serves somewhat like a doctor to those who need it (Genshin Impact, Character Description).
He is a Dendro DPS unit that is somewhat similar to Ganyu when using a charged attack. But to get a fully optimized Tighnari, you’ll have to stack up on EM, his damage output and elemental reactions will double altogether. He’s fairly easy to build since EM substats are always present, I mean with the sheer amount of bad luck from artifact RNG we can’t go wrong with EM.
Shenhe

HP | 14/20 |
Attack | 13/20 |
Defense | 15/20 |
Total | 44/60 |
Shenhe is a Cryo polearm user that resides in Liyue, her backstory is a bit sad as she was abandoned at a young age. The Adeptus Cloud Retainer took pity on Shenhe and decided to raise her as her own (Genshin Impact, Character Description). Alongside Ganyu, Shenhe learned the ways of the adepti and managed to control her own abilities.
As a Cryo support character, her skills are more of a niche buffer since they only apply to Cryo units. She can increase the damage output of other Cryo characters. In order for optimal damage buff, Shenhe has to stack her attack since this is where it’ll scale from.
Yae Miko

HP | 10/20 |
Attack | 14/20 |
Defense | 13/20 |
Total | 37/60 |
Miko is a fan favorite since her character design is very similar to Yae Sakura from Honkai Impact 3rd. Living in Inazuma for years, she is a kitsune who runs the Grand Narukami Shrine and over time, the Yae Publishing House (Genshin Impact, Character Description). She is also one of the closest friends of the Shogun.
She is a DPS Electro catalyst user that can deal damage both off-field and on-field. The totems that she generates can provide off-field damage and can help in elemental reactions. Her elemental burst is really cool since we get a glimpse of her nine tails before it disappears. Building her can be a pain since her ascension materials require beating the Bathysmal Vishaps in Enkanomiya (yes I am one of those few people who struggle with them hahahuhu).

Xingqiu

HP | 13/20 |
Attack | 16/20 |
Defense | 17/20 |
Total | 46/60 |
Xingqiu is a reader and is seen around book stalls a lot. Either he loves to read or he must have a thirst for pure information. He’s righteous and just. He is also the second son of the owner of the powerful trading guild of Liyue, Feiyun Commerce Guild.
It’s recommended to build Xingqiu with Off-field DPS in focus. Activating his Elemental Skill or Burst makes the on-field character Hydro and gives them shields. So, he has to be used wisely when playing against Electro or Cryo teams.
Raiden Shogun

HP | 14/20 |
Attack | 16/20 |
Defense | 16/20 |
Total | 46/60 |
Raiden Shogun is a member of The Seven. She is the God of Eternity and Electro Archon of Inazuma. Her Archon name is Beelzebul and real name is Raiden Ei. Since her sister Baal died in the Cataclysm, she continues the Shogun as Baal.
Raiden’s Elemental Burst depends on the total energy of the team, the higher the energy, the more the damage. On top of that, it recharges a significant amount of energy for the team. One of the best things about her is that she can use her EB without a full 200% charge.
Eula

HP | 14/20 |
Attack | 17/20 |
Defense | 16/20 |
Total | 47/60 |
Eula Lawrence is a member of the Lawrence clan. She is also a captain of the Reconnaissance Company of the Knights of Favonius. Her clan has a bad history with the knights, so people find it mysterious for her to join the Knights of Favonius.
Eula uses a claymore as a weapon but she is someone who attacks quickly with a claymore. So, her DPS is higher than other claymore users. On top of that, her EB causes huge burst damage. Her elemental skill gives her room to move around freely more in battles. She can use a combo of a normal attack, elemental skill, and charged attack to get the best damage output from her.
Bennett

HP | 15/20 |
Attack | 16/20 |
Defense | 17/20 |
Total | 48/60 |
Bennett is one of the unluckiest adventurers of Mondstadt. He was orphaned by his original parents and found and raised by the Adventurer’s Guild. His luck is so unfortunate that his team has only one member.
Bennett might have a sad story but in-game he is one of few characters with such versatility. He is best used with Burst Support builds. He provides a high attack damage buff and heals for the team. When he uses his EB, healing isn’t even needed. One thing to watch out for is the knockback of his Elemental Skill. Throws people off cliffs – taken from real-life experience.

Kaedehara Kazuha

HP | 15/20 |
Attack | 18/20 |
Defense | 15/20 |
Total | 48/60 |
Kazuha is a samurai who wandered from Inazuma to Liyue. He temporarily joined as a member of The Crux. His clan, Kaedehara, used to be famous and now a forgotten name.
Kazuha is SS+ in crowd control, boss fights, support, and versatility. His Elementary Mastery is one of the highest and it buffs the whole team. It’s recommended to stack EM with him before using the EB. His passive is overpowered too. It uses a DPS that moves around.

Zhongli

HP | 17/20 |
Attack | 16/20 |
Defense | 15/20 |
Total | 48/60 |
Zhongli is a mysterious character that feels like the God of Knowledge. He seems to know a lot about everything. Well, he does know everything; he turns out to be the Geo Archon, Morax. He wanted to enjoy the world from a mortal’s perspective. Morax’s vessel, Zhongli, is working as an adviser of the Wangsheng Funeral Parlor.
Zhongli can be built with physical DPS, Burst, or shield support type. He has one of the largest AoE Geo damage. His EB stuns enemies for a while giving his physical DPS team room to do damage. He also has Geo steal that can steal Geo Elements from opponents.
Hu Tao

HP | 18/20 |
Attack | 15/20 |
Defense | 17/20 |
Total | 50/60 |
Wangsheng Funeral Parlor hides another playable character within. It’s Hu Tao, the current director of the business. She is the seventy-seventh director of the business that was initially a doctor’s office. Talk about bad business turnouts!
Hu Tao is a high DPS build-based character. Both her charged attack and Elemental Burst damage inflicts huge damage output on enemies. She is basically a single target character, so she’s very good with the high damage single target output. And not just damage, she has high health and defense. On top of that, she provides a critical chance for the whole team.
Yelan

HP | 18/20 |
Attack | 17/20 |
Defense | 15/20 |
Total | 50/60 |
Yelan is a Hydro bow character that can deal an insane amount of damage. You can look at her as a 5-star Xinqui. As a resident of Liyue, she is associated with the Ministry of Civil Affairs but aside from that, she directly serves under Ningguang (Genshin Impact, Character Description).
Her kit is ideally built as a support unit, allowing her to deal massive Hydro damage off-field. This is good for teams that require a lot of elemental reactions (unless you like sporting a mono-Hydro team). You can also build her as a DPS, I mean with the right artifacts any character can be a DPS.
Venti

HP | 11/20 |
Attack | 15/20 |
Defense | 11/20 |
Total | 37/60 |
Venti is a bard living in Mondstadt. He freely roams around the city and his movement is very suspicious because he’s seen beside the big occurrences in the city. He loves wine and playing the harp. Venti is later revealed to be the Anemo Archon, Barbatos.
Venti is built as an off-field DPS character. His energy regeneration is very fast. His Elemental Skill makes his mobility versatile. And without a doubt, the best crowd controller of the game. He even does huge burst damage with C0.
These top 3 stats are not enough to judge their capabilities in the game. They excel in different cases and they excel in their own sectors.
Nilou

HP | 17/20 |
Attack | 9/20 |
Defense | 13/20 |
Total | 39/60 |
Nilou hails from Sumeru and is a renowned dancer under the Zubayr Theater (Genshin Impact, Character Description). Her dancing is beautiful and elegant, if you’ve progressed far enough into the archon quests in Sumeru, then you know just how mesmerizing her movements are.
She is a 5-star Hydro sword character with an interesting kit. Nilou is a niche sub DPS that works really well with elemental reactions. Especially if you have a Dendro DPS, the numbers you’ll be getting from Bloom reactions will be exciting. Just… remember not to be so close when they burst. All in all, as a sub DPS she can provide enough damage and time just before your rotation hits your DPS.
Sangonomiya Kokomi

HP | 13/20 |
Attack | 13/20 |
Defense | 13/20 |
Total | 39/60 |
Kokomi is a member of the legendary Sangonomiya Clan. She also handles all the matters of Watatsumi Island as she is the Divine Princess of the island.
Kokomi has good DPS but it doesn’t scale that well with her levels. On the other hand, her combo of Elemental Skill and Elemental Burst resets cooldown instantly. So, she can spam her combo in battles easily. Her Elemental Burst cooldown resets only when used before her Elemental Skill duration ends.
Kamisato Ayaka

HP | 13/20 |
Attack | 15/20 |
Defense | 13/20 |
Total | 41/60 |
Ayaka belongs to Kamisato Clan, she is the eldest daughter of the clan. The Kamisato clan is in charge of the Yashiro Commission. So, she has no haters, and the people see her as an example of being perfect.
When you play Ayaka, you will instantly realize she is a plain good DPS character. She works really well with permanent freeze teams. Her elemental burst has high damage and she deals most damage with her E.
Nahida

HP | 10/20 |
Attack | 9/20 |
Defense | 10/20 |
Total | 29/60 |
Nahida is easily the most favored character now because of the recent Archon quest. As the new Dendro archon, she does her best to guide her people and listen to them (Genshin Impact, Character Description). So far, she’s been doing a great job for the people of Sumeru. And out of all the archons, she’s the only one who’s given us answers about the abyss traveler.
Nahida’s skills are really cool, she can be built as a DPS unit but that would require you to farm the right artifacts and at the same time have her constellations. But as a support unit, she can do wonders to your team especially since it is advised to have her EM stacked high. She mainly works well with other characters that can react with Dendro. Using her skills that way can definitely help you gain big numbers.
