Plot
The plot begins in a very unique way. It begins with an average office worker named Kobayashi, who drank a lot and now is in a state of hangover. While she’s in a confused state of mind, she gets approached by a dragon named Tohru. Now imagine you’re confused and you see a girl with a tail. What will be your reaction?
Anyways, Tohru told Kobayashi that she saved her life in the previous life and now she had offered Kobayashi to become her maid. As things proceeded and some thoughts crossed Kobayashi’s mind, she decided to let Tohru live with her and help her with the messed up house. After Kobayashi leaves the apartment, Tohru cleans it and watches over it from two burglars.
When Tohru sees Kobayashi’s work colleagues, she becomes jealous of her but since they’re nothing more than her drinking buddies, it’s alright. After some time, Tohru with her amazing superpowers, makes the clouds go away and makes the sun come out in order to dry her laundry!
Kobayashi tries to learn more about Tohru, so she takes her to the shopping center. She finds out that Tohru is actually quite friendly. Tohru also saves her from some pickpockets and meets one of Tohru’s friends from the dragon world. Kanna is a small kid who is unable to go back to her world. That’s when Kobayashi decides to let her stay with them. As the story proceeds, Tohru teaches Kanna some things about the human world that she needs to know. She also recaps her whole story in front of Kanna so that she understands everything well.
After living with two dragons, Kobayashi comes to realize that there’s not enough space for two dragons. That’s why she decides to buy a bigger apartment where she and her dragons can live peacefully. After shifting into her new apartment, Koyabashi throws a housewarming party.
She’s such a cool owner since she invited Tohru’s relatives too. Just like that, every episode is filled with wholesome stories and characters. Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid is the type of story that warms up your heart and doesn’t make you feel lonely at all. So, if you’re into that kind of story, you should definitely give this anime a go!

Kobayashi is the main character in “Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid”. She’s an average office worker who just works to exist and to pay for things. She comes across Tohru (the dragon) on her way back home. She lives alone therefore, she wanted some company and decided to live with the dragon.

Tohru
Tohru is also one of the main characters in the anime. She’s a bubbly, friendly, and cheerful girl who’s a maid at Kobayashi’s home. She’s always helping around and protecting Kobayashi’s apartment. As a dragon, she was brought up to hate humans and to destroy them, but when she saw Kobayashi, she fell in love with her. That’s when she decided to work for her as a maid.
As a maid, she likes to work hard and earn her keep. She’s been living with Kobayashi for some time now and she is very protective of her dragon fellow. She’s a mother and a bigger sister to Kobayashi and Kanna.
Kanna Kamui
Kanna Kamui is also one of the main characters of the series. She’s with Tohru and she belongs in the dragon world. She’s a small girl who speaks in a very cute way. We often see her fooling around and pulling pranks on others. She’s a funny individual, and her style of dressing up is very charming. Everyone loves this kid so much!
