He has to achieve his goal of securing a scholarship at a university. But for that, he will need to tutor some students. Now, what kind of students will they be? I’ll let you know in a bit.

PLOT
As I’ve mentioned before, this is the story of Nariyuki Yuiga who’s a high schooler. He mostly works at Ichinose Academy. There, he teaches three genius students who are terrible when it comes to certain subjects. For instance, we have Fumino Furuhashi who loves literature and is, therefore, good at it.
However, she’s quite bad at mathematics. On the other hand, there’s another student named Rizu Ogata who’s great when it comes to solving equations and other math problems but sucks at literature. It’s true we all have our weaknesses and strengths. Uruka Takemoto loves playing physical games, so she’s great at those activities and is an able athlete. The problem with her is that she’s terrible at all of the other subjects. It’s true that we see athletes not wanting to study. HAHA, I didn’t attack any of you.
Anyways, Nariyuki has to teach them in order to get his scholarship. Now, how will he deal with these issues? Will he be able to improve them? Their weaknesses aren’t the only problem, to be honest. These girls start to crush on their tutor making his job harder than it already is. As the story proceeds, some new characters also show up in the anime and two of the girls start focusing more on their slob teacher named Mafuyu Kirisu. Another student named Asumi Kominami is known to be a ronin but looks more like a middle schooler.
As the story gets to an end, there’s a festival at Ichinose School. There’s a famous rumor going around the school that the people who are touching each other when they will light the fireworks will surely become a couple in the future. Nariyuki is fated to be a couple with one of the girls he’s tutoring and gets in contact with a girl but we don’t get to see who she actually is. They left us on a cliffhanger. MAIN CHARACTERS
Since we’ve talked a lot about the plot, we’re going to talk about the characters now! Let’s learn the personalities of some of the main characters in the anime.
Nariyuki Yuiga
Nariyuki Yuiga is the main character in “We Never Learn: BOKUBEN”. He’s a very smart and intellectual student who aims to get a scholarship at a good university. For getting the scholarship, he would have to tutor some of the genius yet good-for-nothing girls. He’s handsome enough to make his tutors fall for him.
He has brown eyes and brown hair. Nariyuki is a hardworking student who wasn’t really a good student. But the thing is that he followed his father’s footsteps and devoted his life to studying just to become an ace pupil and get a scholarship. He’s quite innocent at times. But his innocent side is his cutest side. Being a perfectionist, he’s good at everything he does.
Mafuyu Kirisu
She’s a beautiful student counselor, who’s also one of the prominent characters in the anime. She used to teach Rizu Ogata and Fumino Furuhashi. She has pink hair and blue eyes. Everything about this girl is just very cute. Her messy side makes her look even cuter. Let’s talk a bit about her personality now. Mafuyu is a very clumsy person who often makes big blunders. Not gonna lie, she does look like she messes up a lot.
She also thinks that one should follow their talent in order to succeed. Mafuyu believes that everyone shouldn’t be swayed by their emotions.
Fumino Furuhashi
Fumino Furuhashi is one of the students that Nariyuki tutors. She’s a genius when it comes to art and literature. We all know that a perfect student who’s good at literature, as well as mathematics, doesn’t exist. Isn’t that right? So Fumino loves literature and is good at it too. When it comes to her personality, she’s an introverted girl who doesn’t talk to anybody very often. She considers Nariyuki her friend. Their chemistry is quite cute, if you want to see that, watch this anime!
Rizu Ogata
Rizu Ogata is also one of the main characters. She’s great at math but isn’t good at literature. She’s short and is always making a poker face. Rizu is a very good girl who stays serious but tries his best to understand other human’s behavior. She also feels like making her tutor proud of her by studying hard.
Uruka Takemoto
Uruka Takemoto is one of the main heroines and is great at sports. She’s friendly and gets along just fine with everyone around her. She’s a tall girl with violet hair. We mostly see her wearing a school uniform and doesn’t really wear socks with them. The only problem with her is that she’s quite dumb in every subject.
CONCLUSION
