Everybody is talking about To Love Ru right now. It came back in power and many new Otakus have added the famous series to their watch list.
Table of Contents
However, as great as any anime can be, watching the fillers can be a drag, I mean we would be super excited to see the end of a fight but instead, week after week we get some irrelevant side stories, that is nice and all, but the main event would be nicer
At least we can be happy that To Love Ru is not as long as Naruto, Dragon Ball or One Piece, so technically speaking the filler list should be minimal, that’s logically speaking. Thing is, we are talking about anime here, and we have to admit something, we have no logic in our universe.

Additional Information
To Love Ru is an anime that was created by the famous author Saki Hasemi and it was illustrated by Kentaro Yabuki.
The series revolves around Yuuki Rito, our main character. Right now he is a simple high school student, however, his life is about to become way more exciting than expected.
I don’t know how that could ever happen, but the boy got engaged, by ACCIDENT, to a princess who had escaped from her kingdom.
And the thing is that was his side problem. You know, young highschoolers who understand nothing of the world don’t have a sense of priority, and the shy Yuuki is only concerned about how he is going to convey his feelings to the girl he actually likes, Haruna Sairenji.
Haruna has been in the same class as him since they were in junior school and from the second he set eyes on her we became completely obsessed with the girl and high school should’ve been the time to confess, but things are way too complicated right now.
However, to be honest, what he’s got going on right now is way better than a petty 16 year old drama. He was casually taking a bath when a naked beauty just appeared in the tub with him, the girl was called Lala Satalin Deviluke.
She just appeared, or teleported if you want, which means the girl is actually not human, she is the princess of a faraway alien planet! But she is not just any princess, she is the most important being in the entire universe!
When she met Yuuki, she had found a way to escape her already set destiny, she couldn’t have been more contempt to marry such a mundane boy.
She was happy while Yuuki was really confused. Problems just kept on piling up after her arrival. He failed to confess to Haruna, the guy who was supposed to marry Lala is surely after his throat, hence his daily life is now pure chaos.
To Love Ru is really a hilarious bundle of good vibes and romance. The humor, the drama, the failed love stories, the unusual happy ending and all the mesmerizing half-naked ladies will sure to put a smile on your face for at least a week!
Conclusion
When I said you were going to be shocked I meant it. I mean this anime has more fillers than actual canon episodes! At this point might as well consider them the story.
If your plan was to skip the filler, I’d say, think again, you won’t get much of a series to watch if you do so.
You might be kind of disappointed right now after seeing what To Love Ru actually is, however, take it from another point of view.
Many Otakus have watched this show, enjoyed it, shared it, it was released in 2008 and yet we are still talking about it today.
No complaints on the subject raised. Most of us didn’t know that it consisted mainly of fillers, which means that the fillers are just as amazing as the main story!
They are called fillers just in title but they make up a story for themselves, so you can consider that you hit two birds in one stone with two complete stories to enjoy under one stunning anime. How great is that!
So moral of this long conclusion, always search for the bright side of things, and anime are always perfect and worth watching no matter if they are fillers, side stories, canon, OVAs, specials…
