What if one day, by a huge blunder, you get reincarnated into the world of monsters? What will be the first thing you’ll do there except for freaking out? When it comes to bizarre species, Rosario + Vampire surely has to be included in the list. This anime is the perfect combination of Shonen + Fantasy. So, if you think that these genres are your type, you might as well watch Rosario + Vampire. 

Rosario + Vampire is about Tsukune Aono who gets into a boarding school. He didn’t know what kind of environment awaits him there… It turns out that the boarding school is filled with monsters and the students must be in their human forms on the campus to not get any unwanted attention.

We know something as obvious as “monsters being dangerous”. So, one can’tsimply befriend a monster without getting hurt. Maybe after watching this anime, you might have a different point of view about monsters. Imagine you’re an average student who gets into boarding schools inhabited by monsters! These monsters aren’t average, in fact, they are supposed to linger around as normal humans on the campus. 

Our MC, aka Tsukune Aono, enters the boarding school since he couldn’t really get accepted by any other local school. So, his parents were more than happy that he was accepted by this boarding school. Tsukune made a lot of friends here, especially monster girls who fell head over heels for him. Are you lonely to the extent of accepting monsters as your girlfriend? Are you wishing that you were Tsukune? 

Well, if you’re curious to see the interaction between monsters as well as humans, watch Rosario + Vampire. Let’s talk about how everything happened. So, Tsukune wasn’t really accepted at any local schools, he went to Yokai Academy which is a boarding school and his father encountered a drunk man. He came across a vampire who loves the scent of blood, of course.

While Tsukune’s father was more than happy to send him to this school, little did he know that it was a school full of monsters. Now, when Tsukune arrives at the boarding school, he finds out that there are legit monsters living in it. He tried to run away leaving the monsters behind but he encountered Moka, a Vampire, on his way. 

A huge blunder is about to be made by Tsukune’s clumsy self. A delinquent student got into a fight with him and tangled up in such a fight that endangers his life right before accidentally removing the rosary on Moka’s neck.

As a result, Moka changed into a huge scary vampire. Our MC had seen TOO MUCH, that’s why he fainted. When he woke up and became conscious, he found a very pretty pink-haired girl taking care of him after getting a sip from his neck. *Screams internally* I am just so into the concept of vampires! What about you guys? 

Now things become interesting when he sees that there are monsters who care for you but they also suck the blood out of you. This gave him mixed feelings about the monstrous school and the community itself. Now, imagine you’re Tsukune, what will you feel about this? Enough of the plot, let’s introduce you to the characters! 

MAIN CHARACTERS

Let’s go and find out some of the main characters in Rosario + Vampire! There are human characters as well as monster characters. But we’ll only talk about the prominent ones. 

Tsukune Aono 

Tsukune Aono is the main character in Rosario + Vampire. He’s an average guy who couldn’t really get accepted into any local schools. That’s why he had no other option than to just get admission to the monster school. Poor guy must be so helpless. I’m just kidding, he got into this school accidentally. He’s an innocent guy who deeply cares about his loved ones. He’s known to be the most decent character in the anime since his compassion towards the monsters is worth appreciating too. Unlike us typical humans, he went out of his way to understand monsters, so if you’re into decent guys like him, watch Rosario + Vampire. 

Mizore Shirayuki 

Mizore Shirayuki is one of the members of the newspaper club. She has an obsessive love for our MC, Tsukune. She looks really cool with her unique purple hair. At first, she was known to be a very quiet and introverted girl. At first, she confessed her feelings to her professor who hurt her a lot by taking advantage of Mizore. Being lovesick, she decided to hide and just not get any unwanted attention. It’s true that when you get lovesick, you don’t want to show yourself to others. To those who can relate, I feel for you. *sobs* 

Moka Akashiya 

Next off, we have Moka Akashiya who is also one of the main characters. She cares for Tsukune and took care of him when he got stuck in a fight between the huge vampire and a delinquent boy. Although she sucked his blood yet that doesn’t change the fact that she cares for him. The growing chemistry between Moka and Tsukune is really cute. She’s kind and friendly. She loves to be loved.
