Rave Master has a total of 51 episodes in general which is divided into two seasons! 49 of the episodes are Canon to the Manga, while there is one filler episode and episode 8 of the anime is a mix of filler and Canon!
The Anime first aired back in October 13,2001 and ended on September 28,2002! Studio Deen gave life to the anime adaptation, while using the manga as their source. It’s a good show although it is incomparable with Fairy Tail who exploded in popularity!
I do believe that some Fairy Tail fans may not have heard of it and completely disregard its existence. I, myself, am an example who only heard it after Fairy Tail Anime was finished, especially since I didn’t watch the OVA. Which is why I encourage you guys to check it out and see for yourself!
CHARACTERS
Haru Glory
Haru Glory is the main protagonist of the anime! He is the only person who can wield Mystical Rave Stone ever since the elder predecessor retired. Thus, earning him the title of Rave master.
His main goal is to find the four fragments of the Rave, which can be used to destroy another powerful stone known as Dark Brings. This weapon, which is also called Shadow stone, is wielded by the organization known as the Demon Card.
Haru is notable for having spiky silver colored hair. He always wears an important necklace given by his father. Our main character is a compassionate guy who puts on a smiling face every time, even for no reason!
Haru is simply a sweet soul with a good heart! He is strong willed and values friendship! You will see his rage if he ever sees his friends get hurt. He is an expert swordsman, motivated to train in order to become stronger!
But even without a weapon, you shouldn’t underestimate him for he possesses an excellent hand-to-hand combat skill. His base stats are immense compared to an average human being and therefore he is one tough guy to handle.
The Ten Commandments is his main weapon and not a stoned tablet. He obtained the weapon after he became a Rave Master. This magical sword has the ability to transform into 10 different swords each having a unique ability on its own!
Elie
Elie is our main heroine who struggles to recall her past. She travels alongside Haru in order to search to recover her lost memories and as well figure out her identity. Ellie is notable for her own short brown locks hairstyle, and of course her beauty which attracts a lot of men in the series.
Elie is a joyous bubbly character. Despite the struggles with her identity, she is filled with positivity. She is highly skilled in gambling which makes me wonder if she can beat Yumeko Jabami! She handles finance in the Rave Warriors organization and adores Haru’s pet Plus.
Our Main Heroine is known as the only human alive to use a dangerous type of magic known as Etherion. She can also use her magic power to fire bullets and has insane marksmanship abilities. Ellie owns a tonfa blaster which she can use to fire magic.
Hamrio Musica
Musica is Haru’s traveling companion and is known to be the leader of the Silver Rhythm Gang (What a musical themed gang you got there!). He is sadly known as one of the last surviving members of the Musica Family.
He is a tall young man with a slender body but also has athletic build. He is full of confidence and a little bit Narcissistic I say? But other than that, he has the right to be confident in fighting since he can prove it!
Musica is notable for his silver skull necklace to which he can use it to create weapons. Known as Silver Claiming, Musica has the alchemist-like ability to transmute any silver he touches into weapons or tools of his liking.
Plue
The list wouldn’t end without the cute Plue who is the bearer of Rave stone and a companion of the Rave Warriors. This cute being that looks like a snow man who loves lollipops and is only known for his one word catchphrase “Puun”. Just like his owner, he is loyal to his friends, having the heart of valor to sacrifice his life in order to save them!
Conclusion
