Persona 3 The Movie #1: Spring of Birth

Persona 3: Spring of Birth serves as the base of the whole Persona series as it explains the very beginning of the story, with crucial facts that connect to other series of Persona. The theme of the Persona series revolves around the supernatural powers born from the subconscious state of the human mind.
The movie features the existence of mysterious beings called Shadows that infiltrate and attack the very mind of human beings.
A supernatural event known as the Dark Hour was the reason behind the appearance of Shadows. In my opinion, the Dark Hour is like an interdimensional space–time breach as it allows beings of unknown origin to invade Earth.
Makoto Yuuki was an orphan who acquired the supernatural power to summon a Persona and wield it as a weapon. He ends up joining an undercover group of agents (SEES) with similar powers. Now, the fate of the world rests in the hands of these youngsters.
Persona 3 The Movie #2: Midsummer Knight’s Dream

Persona 3: Midsummer Knight’s Dream is a sequel to Persona 3: Spring of Birth. This movie continues the journey of Makoto and his friends in defeating the Shadows.
Shadows alone were giving Makoto and his friends tough times, but now they have to deal with another enemy, Strega.

Persona 3: Falling Down is a sequel to Persona 3: Midsummer Knight’s Dream. This movie focuses on the individual life of the main characters and their struggle of keeping peace in such catastrophic times.

On the other hand, a member of Strega (Chidori Yoshino) kidnapped Junpei Iori (Makoto’s Friend) for some unknown reason. The members of SEES were going through harsh times as they lost their loved ones in the fight against shadows only to find their sacrifices were not enough to end the Dark Hour.
Makoto and his friends must come to terms with their Personas to end this tragedy of the Dark Hour.
Persona 3 The Movie: Winter of Rebirth

Persona 3: Winter of Rebirth is a sequel to Persona 3: Falling Down. This movie features the most fateful and biggest battle of our heroes against the doomed fate of humanity. Although the key that ends the tragic night is near, the price may be far more than one can imagine.
Ryouji Mochizuki was a young student who transferred to the high school of Makoto and became friends with him and his gang. However, the real identity of Ryouji was always in question as Aegis always suspected him far more than anyone else.
Makoto and his friends fight the appraiser Thanatos, who turned out to be Ryouji, their dear friend. Ryouji claimed that he also hated this side of him as he didn’t wish to be the harbinger of death. Now, Makoto is shouldered to decide the fate of humanity and his friend.
