What is a Filler List?

Are you thinking the same as I am, thinking that, what is a filler? Most Anime are based on Manga series which are comic books but the Anime that are not based on Manga are known as fillers.
Gundam Storyline

The plot revolves around a fictional universe where the 0097 universal year has been running and the colonization of space has been started. Humans are now colonizing space. There are colonies near the Earth’s orbit also known as, Sides. So, now that the background is over, let’s start the plot.
The story begins as one of the sides known as Zeon, or commonly as Side 3 initiated war against the governing side known as Earth federation. This Destructive war lasts for more than 8 months.
The war, later on, started again as an Amuro Ray named young boy went through the mobile suit models of the Earth Federation. He joined a white base named Ship, as a member of its crew. Now Amuro Ray and his fellow friends have to join hands with the Earth Federation to terminate this conflict.
Gundam Filler Episode: Cucuruz Doan's Island

Now after all the basic information, let’s come to the point which is Gundam Filler Episodes, what happened in this filler episode, what do you think?
Let me tell you, as discussed before, the Gundam Anime Series have only one filler episode. Episode number 16 of the Gundam Anime Series is a filler. The episode aired with the title Cucuruz Doan’s Island.
The episode was only aired in Japan and never aired in the USA. It was not considered as filler technically. But, due to the reason that it was never aired in the USA and also never mentioned in all three movies of the Gundam Anime Series, it is mostly considered as a filler.
Plot

The episode starts with Gundam’s new modules introduced by Gunperry, the young boy named Amuro trying to check what Gundam and Core Fighter would become if they are fitted together. While Amuro is practicing this, Fraw detected a discomfort signal from close areas.
Amuro has been ordered to fly around the area. He launches up with Core Fighter to see what is happening.
Are you guys also thinking about what is happening???. It seems to be very interesting. Let’s continue the story.
Amuro landed on the place from where the signals were coming from. There, he saw a crashed fighter plane. When he walked closer, he saw two pilots were injured and were trapped in their seats with rope. Amuro tells the situation briefly because he wanted his team to get prepared for any traps.

Amuro freed them and started checking them. One of the two pilots has already died but one is breathing. Suddenly, someone starts throwing rocks at the injured pilot and Amuro. Are you guys also thinking about what’s happening? I am also thinking the same. However, I think that there is some type of trap for Amuro. Let’s Continue to know the reality.
Amuro takes the pilot with him but unfortunately he is also dead now. Amuro has many questions that are roaming around in his mind. He went to the attack base. There he saw some children. They were three kids and told Amuro to get out of the place while throwing rocks. Oh! It means that I was wrong about that sorry it’s not a trap.
Amuro was running back to the Core Fighter, he suddenly saw a Zaku 2 operated by a Cocuruz Doan. He told Amuro to concede but Amuro refused, and said, “I will never do this.” Cocuruz says that, “he doesn’t want to fight him.” Yes!! I was not wrong, it’s a trap!

Amuro throws two bombs on the Cocuruz, which he defends well, but Amuro gets injured and falls unconscious. Oh! No. What will happen now???
Amuro woke up finding himself in a cabin and there was Rolland, a woman. She asks him If he will be going anywhere soon. Amuro got out and saw Doan working in the field. He asked about the Core Fighter, from him, where is he?. Amuro was told nothing by him as Doan was scared that if he gave him the fighter, he would attack him. Amuro knows that Zeon will be coming soon. He was worried about children. He has to save them and for this, he needs his Core Fighter. Amuro starts the search on his own.
Amuro while standing at the top took a look at the whole place and tried hard to find his Core Fighter but Doan had already hidden it. Amuro sat at the seaside after refreshing himself where he was accompanied by Rolland. “The Sunset is very beautiful, I don’t think you know that,” she said to Amuro. Amuro replied conflicted, “nothing seems to be beautiful.”
Doan is deciding the children to be with him. “But why?” Amuro asked Rolland. “You don’t know what you’re talking about,” Rolland replied to him. Do you also think about what is going on? Let’s continue to know!

Ryu is in the search of Amuro, but he comes back to the ship in the dark. Everybody was very anxious about Amuro. Doan saw the past in his dream. He saw that the children were crying for their mother and father who had died, while he was controlling his Zaku in a battle.
When Doan woke up, he started searching the radar to find out if there were any Zeon forces nearby. We aren’t able to change Amuro’s mind, we have to get out of this place as soon as possible, he said to Rolland.
The search for Amuro is continued by the White Base team. Many objects were detected by the Fraw which indicates that direction to the island. Bright orders Mirai to start finding Amuro in that direction. On the other hand, the children begin beating Amuro again and saying the same thing, while Amuro is still finding the Core Fighter.
At the same time, Amuro heard some noise and saw a Zaku controlled Luggun which attacked the children but he protected them from the Zaku. When Amuro asked Doan about the Core Fighter, at the same instant, Zaku destroyed the cabin and landed on the island. Meanwhile, Doan takes him to a place. The Doan’s Zaku and Core Fighter both are hidden in this cave.

On the other hand, the Ryu arrive at the island and they attack Luggun and fall as the Luggun attack them. Amuro asked Bright to have a quick conversation with him. Amuro again turns into his robot then he returns to the fight.
Amuro destroyed the Luggun and moves towards the Zaku, But Doans asked Amuro to stop and explained the assassination of the parents of the children accidentally. Doan instead flies along them.
The Zaku is destroyed by the Doan. The children first protest against him. Then, they understand what is happening.
Did Gundam Filler List Help You?

So here, the conclusion is that if you are an anime lover like me then you have to watch the Gundam Anime Series as it is one of the best anime series. The series ended on January 26, 1980. The storyline ended with Amuro falling in love with Lalah Sune, whose guardian is Char and she loves Char very much.
The Series ended as Amuro and Char had a final battle but Lalah Sune got inside them and was killed while trying to save Char. After that, Amuro and Char decided not to fight and Char went to complete a task. He killed the Rubi ruling family and old Zeon was ended and the new Republic of Zeon was established. They shook hands with Earth Federation for peace and the long war ended.
The ending was happy but also sad as Amuro lost his love but he finally succeeded in his mission to establish peace. Though he did not get what he wanted, he saved many people’s smiles and their lives. It is such an adventurous story I fell in tears while watching the last episode. Amuro is the real hero, who has saved humanity from a big war.
I really loved watching the series, having a mix of different genres like adventure, action, love and sadness. That is why I love anime. They have a balanced mix of genres and the Gundam Anime Series is one of my favorites.
