With its single season containing 12 episodes, this anime is very short and you can binge-watch it easily! It’s a slice of life/school genre anime that will refresh your brain. However, some parts of this anime might seem tragic to you! Yes, you have no idea what’s coming your way. Anyways, since this blog is going to be about the filler list of Classroom of the Elite, I’ll let you know about its storyline too! Are you excited? PLOT
The story of this anime is based on futuristic Japan where the Government of Japan has created the Tokyo Metropolitan Advanced Nurturing School. This school was built to instruct the next generation that will help the country. The students of this school are given a lot of freedom and they can do whatever they want.
The way we get to see the story is from Kiyotaka Ayanokoji’s perspective. He’s a very quiet, introverted, and stoic guy. He lacks what it takes to make friends and likes to stay away from people along with unwanted attention. In such a world of intellectual people, he belongs to the inferior class titled, “Class-D”. In this class, all the inferior kids are present.
After he meets some new fellows including Suzune Horikita and Kikyo, he begins to speculate this situation created by this suspicious government. He also gets involved in many other school affairs. His thoughts of an ordinary school life begins to change when he observes what happens on the darker side of the spectrum.
Upon his arrival at the Tokyo Metropolitan Advanced Nurturing School, his homeroom teacher explains the “point system” where all the students are given a monthly balance containing 1,000,000 points. They can use this money however they want. For Kiyotaka, it was unreal, he was careful in spending those points along with a lot going on at school. Kiyotaka has a mission where he wants to make Kushida become friends with Horikita. So for that purpose, he sets up a scenario and makes them meet at a cafe. Horikita being the smartypants, sees clearly through their plans and then leaves eventually.
Moving on, Chabashira who is the homeroom teacher explains the system again to the class and Class-D has the opportunity to get promoted to Class-C by improving their grades and doing well in the exams. Now that everyone is fully aware of the system, they begin to study harder and harder. Those who fail will eventually be expelled from the school. Horikita decides to treat Kiyotaka to a very expensive lunch to discuss all of the things happening at school lately and to make the idiots of their class come to her study group.
As the story proceeds, Kiyotaka succeeds in bringing them to the library. However, those idiots end up leaving the library after seeing Horikita’s attitude. After the exams are done, Class-D gets their results and everyone passes except for this one guy named Sudo. Sudo has always been heavily interested in Basketball. He even explained that he wants to make Basketball his future and has no intentions of getting good grades at all.
Meanwhile, our MC spent 15,000 points to buy the Sudo’s exam. I would say that’s definitely a smart decision, Kiyotaka! Kiyotaka and Horikita together spend their points on increasing Sudo’s exam scores. After all this, Kiyotaka follows Kushida since she left her phone somewhere, and ends up finding out a very jealous, and dark side of her. What could’ve happened that made Kushida the way she is?
The next day, Class-D’s grades were evaluated because of Sudo’s incident. Sudo was intentionally attacked by someone and he did his best to fight back. Sudo, our poor guy, has a bad reputation and nobody really believes him. It turns out that the people of Class-C asked one of their classmates to beat Sudo up. And just like that, everyone got busy finding evidence!
A lot more is yet to be discovered in the anime but I won’t spoil it further for you guys. There are so many messed up incidents that might creep you out psychologically. So, if you’re into such stuff, you better watch Classroom of the Elite.
MAIN CHARACTERS
There are a lot of characters in Classroom of the Elite, and I’ll tell you about some of the most dominant characters in the series. Oh, they can also be called the “main characters”. All of the characters have their own abilities and weaknesses. All of the characters are hiding something they’re scared of behind their backs. So, the story of Classroom of the Elite creates suspense for its viewers. Without further ado, let’s get started!
Kiyotaka Ayanokoji
Kiyotaka Ayanokoji is one of the main characters belonging to the inferior class, none other than “Class-D”. He’s our handsome MC with brown hair and brown eyes. He’s quite tall and is the ideal type of many girls out there. He’s usually seen wearing his uniform or a hoodie outside the school. Kiyotaka has a well-maintained physique and this was said by Suzune Horikita. Yes, this boy is muscular to some extent. Let’s talk a bit about his personality now.
He’s the type of guy who mostly minds his own business unless the circumstances ask for his involvement. Kiyotaka Ayankoji doesn’t really like to be noticed or have any unwanted attention on him. Trust me, this guy is terrible when it comes to talking to people. Sometimes he gets lost in his own thoughts while talking. He’s the type of guy who keeps his words and fulfills the promises that he makes. Other than that, he’s a boring individual although he cares a lot about his loved ones.
Suzune Horikita
Suzune Horikita is also one of our female main characters in Classroom of the Elite. She’s considered a goddess. Her hair is black and long and she’s seen wearing her uniform most of the time. We cannot just simply figure out what’s going on inside her head and that is the most frustrating thing. She’s stoic and calm. Just like Kiyotaka, she doesn’t want any unwanted attention from anybody as well.
Suzune is an intellectual girl who rarely shows any emotion. She doesn’t really care about getting hurt or not. All she cares about is her grades. I want such strong determination. What about you guys? Although she’s not that open about things that are connected to her, yet she’s quite straight-forward. It’s true that she’s just honest. And that’s exactly how we all should be. Suzune is considered to be an antisocial girl yet she communicates with others just smoothly and surely better than our MC, Kiyotaka Ayanokoji. If you agree with this, let us know in the comments!
Ichika Amasawa
Ichika Amasawa is a cute girl with a twin–tail hairstyle. She also wears her school uniform mostly. Her personality is very nasty unlike her appearance. She likes to boast about things and is quite mischievous too. Ichika Amasawa has a nasty temper and she won’t leave you alone unless you apologize to her even if you were right. Yes, she’s got such a nasty personality.
Airi Sakura
Airi Sakura reads in our MCs class. She’s an average teenager who wears glasses and is considered quite attractive by everyone. She wears the school uniform as well. Let me tell you a secret, her glasses are fake!
Airi is a shy and introverted girl. She chooses to stay in the background or should I say lowkey? Well, whatever it is, she’s nervous at the swimming pool because of her class and just like our MC, she sucks at communicating with other people. These were some of the personality traits of Airi Sakura.
