Okay, so who hasn’t heard of this masterpiece of an anime? Almost everyone has watched this anime. Isn’t that right? Attack On Titan started airing in 2013, and since then, it won the hearts of all otakus worldwide. It is literally one of the most famous anime worldwide. It is known for its badass characters, intense action, and cool animation! If you haven’t watched Attack On Titan, what are you planning to do with your life?

Thousands of years ago, man-eating titans arrived in the world and started causing a catastrophe. Humanity had to live in a place that was surrounded by gigantic walls. This was done for the last remaining humans to stay safe and to not get eaten by the titans. The real story begins when Eren Jaeger (MC) had to see his mother get eaten by those titans right before his eyes. He started to train to avenge his mother’s death. Those titans really didn’t go easy on him and destroyed his hometown as well. But the story of Attack On Titan is much more than that! We’ll discuss it below!
Today, we’re going to talk about the filler episode in Attack On Titan OADs. It started airing from 2013 to 2018 with a total of eight episodes. Attack On Titan OAD has 25% of fillers. So, we’ll discuss the OADs along with its filler episode! Let’s go!

Attack On Titan OAD (PLOT)
During the year 850, the Scout Regiment forces are preparing themselves to explore the outside of the walls they’re caved in. Hange Zoe wants to talk to Levi but Levi rejects her. Mike Zakarias also doesn’t want to talk to Hange so he also refuses. The gates opened and soldiers ran out starting the mission. Hange basically wanted to encounter a titan by herself. After some time, when she gets the titan running, she retreats to the forest. The titan was banging its head in the forest against the tree. The titan turns a bit aggressive when Hange gets close to it. But Levi along with others arrives in the forest and saves the day.
After all this, they find the body of a soldier that was decapitated. It was the body of one of the soldiers named Ilse Langnar. She belonged to the 34th Corps Division. They found a notebook lying with her and it had the records of Ilse. She escaped after her team members were killed. She was brought to a corner by the titan all alone but instead of eating her, the titan spoke to her in a human language and called her “Ymir”. What could all of this mean? Attack On Titan OAD Filler Episodes
Episode 2 – The Sudden Visitor: The Torturous Curse of Youth
After two years, the 104th Cadet Corps were dispatched to Jean’s hometown named Trost District. A very wild boar is wandering in this town and everybody’s talking about it. When Conny gets there. he explains how he has never been to such a place that is walled.
Moving on, Sasha says that this town must have tasty food. Jean sighs and thinks that this town is perfect for them. Once Jean gets with the military, Sasha and Conny go to the Garrison. On the other hand, Armin and Marco wonder if Jean is going to meet his mother or not. Jean doesn’t really like the idea and declines the offer.
During the first day of their practice, Jean joins Armin and Annie to train. He takes his team to the next level. Armin realizes that and warns him that their mission is to control the targets placed on the front line only. Jean says that being a soldier, it’s our duty to knock out the titans. Annie mocks Jean and says that he’s only doing all this to look good. While aiming for another target, Jean is cut off by Mikasa who slays the titan. That’s the moment when he compliments her instead of insulting her. Jean, the poor guy, keeps getting cut off by other members like Conny, Annie, and Reiner. He ends up getting frustrated
After such an intense practice, Jean calls everyone a cheater to keep cutting him off while he was trying to attack. Sasha speaks up and says that it’s all fair since you are hunting down the targets. Jean gets even angrier about this. Sasha and Conny demand an apology from him. It turns out that he was on edge because he misses his mom.
In this filler episode, we get to see an argument between Jean and Sasha after they trained in Trost. Pyxis is one of the commanders who was drunk and decided that this argument will be solved with a cooking competition. Wow, what a way to solve a matter. We all better try that next time. After a while, Jean gets an omelet from his mother but he pushes her away as he’s pretty embarrassed. Jean comes up with an idea that he’s going to use this omelet in the cooking competition. And just like that, he ends up winning! Then they make peace among themselves and pay a visit to Jean’s loving mother. That’s how they both make up after such an intense fight during their training.
Episode 3 – Distress
Jean and Eren become rivals and a gang of thieves steal their ODM gears and make Christa their hostage. These cadets leave their equipment to save Christa. Together, these cadets are much more powerful than the thieves. Armin reports this situation to the commandant and he starts to think whether the attack was a part of their training or not.
This filler episode starts off with the training of the 104th Cadet Corps that are cruising across the desert in a given amount of time. And for such an exercise, the cadets got divided into two teams. One of the teams is led by Marco Bodt while the other one is led by Thomas Wagner. Marco’s team has Armin while Thomas’ team has Mikasa. They are given specific tasks to evaluate the team’s individual performances. Commandant Sadies advise both teams to not rush anything and he wants the exercise to be simple.
Marco’s team has Eren, so he becomes quite impatient with the slow pace. Jean quarrels with Eren that there’s no point in rushing things. Conny complains that there’s no excitement with the slow pace, Jean slightly agrees to that. The quarrel between Eren and Jean continues. This quarrel breaks as Sasha screams that the lizard is actually tasty. OMG, WHAT?
On the other side, Thomas’s team says that their ODM gears have been stolen very mysteriously. Following the trace marks, Reiner concludes that a gang of thieves is responsible for this. The team then decides to rush things a bit and return to their camp before anything goes wrong.
While everyone’s starving and trying to eat on Marco’s team, Sasha says that the lizard would have been tastier. Eren and Jean continue fighting and critique one another’s reason for joining the army. As their fight continues, Christa observes something moving in the distance but nobody else could notice it. Will they regret not listening to Christa? What could be moving? To find out, watch Attack On Titan’s OAD. You wouldn’t regret watching it for real though. Even if they are fillers, they’re pretty fun to watch!
Conclusion
And that brings us to the conclusion of Attack On Titan’s OAD Filler List. Indeed, Attack On Titan is one of the best anime to exist. Everyone genuinely loves this anime. With such a cool storyline, political issues portrayed just fine, fluidity in action, wholesome characters, and whatnot? These all things make Attack On Titan one of the best anime of all time. Even though this OAD has two filler episodes, I must say that the story of this filler episode is pretty fun to watch and is interesting too.
