A Certain Scientific Railgun FILLER EPISODES
Episode 3
(Tokiwadai is Targeted)
One day, a strange skyline occupied the surface of the earth. Kongo Mitsuko, who’s a level 4 esper and a student at Tokiwadai, was walking alone. As she’s walking, she feels something. Mitsuko finds herself turning around and sees a lot of empty streets. Not being able to spot anyone, she continues walking and as she turns, she asks whether somebody is there or not. As expected, no responses were heard. She starts walking backward and bumps into something. The weird thing is that there was no one she bumped into but she felt the feeling of a solid object.
The whole situation scares her a lot and suddenly, she hears an electric buzzing sound. She feels pain and falls to the ground. A girl smiles at her while looking down. What could this girl possibly want? Is there more horror to come?
Episode 13 (A Bikini Divides The Eyeline Between Top and Bottom, But a One-Piece Shows Off the Figure, so The Only Flatten the Slender)
During summers, Shirai Kuroko and Misaka Mikoto bask in the summer rays as they munch on their snacks. Mid-summer can be fatal, right? Kuroko, being the woman of culture, decides to become comfortable by applying sunscreen on Mikoto’s skin. Way to go Kuroko! That was a chad move. Anyways, poor Kuroko couldn’t seize the opportunity since her schoolmates appeared and asked him to do them a solid.
Their favor was to lend a swimsuit from Kuroko as their school has to promote their products. She’s all in to help. On the other hand, Mikoto is hesitating to become a model for one day. However, Kuroko tries her best to make Mikoto agree to this. Apparently, Kuroko has great acting skills, which enables her to manipulate the other person just perfectly. That is a really dangerous trait, isn’t it?
Episode 14
(Special Workshop)
This episode is also one of the filler episodes. It shows us what summer vacation is like in the futuristic city. Mikoto and Kuroko had to interact with Saten and Uihara at a family restaurant. These two students have their own ideas and plans for spending their summer vacations. Kuroko had plans of watching a movie with Mikoto. Meanwhile, Mikoto wanted to visit the Seventh Mist. Waiting for their friends, they talk about their plans. When Uihara arrives she explains why she came late and arrived all alone.
It turns out that Saten attended a very special academy along with students that come from other cities. Uihara, along with her other friends, saw all that on their way to the venue. In the special classroom, we get to see some familiar faces. After a while, the four high school students enter the class and a girl with a flux coat ability causes a commotion in the class, making the other students nervous.
Episode 17 (Tsuzuri’s Summer Vacation)
It’s also one of the filler episodes and is filled with the summer vacation theme. So, Tsuzuri is part of the faculty and is left with a lot of paperwork that needs to be done. She has to work even during summer vacations. Tsuzuri belongs to the Anti-Skill and receives an urgent call from her sensei, Yomiukawa Aiho. Since she has a lot of work piled up, she arrives late.
On arriving, Aiho and Tsuzuri do an activity based on Anti-Skill and Judgment. They had to practice this part since it was summer vacation and they would have a lot of time. Their first activity didn’t go that well. Tsuzuri ends up becoming a hostage in one of the assignments. She needs to be saved by Aiho to knock out a hooligan that might hurt Tsuzuri anytime soon. Will someone save Tsuzuri?
Episode 18
(Asunaro Park)
Guess how this episode starts? It starts with the loud sound of a cracking bone. Sounds intense, eh? The bone which snapped was Kuroko’s neck. It was her punishment for not abiding by the rules. Mikoto watches this situation right before her own eyes and gets terrified.
At one of the restaurants, Kuroko gets angry and screams. Mikoto is always there for her. She listens to Kuroko and Kuroko vents out about the teacher who snapped her neck. She also exposes that teacher and tells how she lets her personal life get in the way of her job.
What more is to come?
Episode 19 (Midsummer Festival)

Moving on, we have the Midsummer Festival, and Mikoto’s pretty nervous early in the morning. Since Mikoto and Kuroko are pretty different from one another, one of them anticipates the day while the other gets super nervous. The main reason behind her nervousness was because of the two dormitories interacting as their school opened its gates. So, that made our MC feel quite anxious. That’s pretty cute. If you can relate to Mikoto’s personality, do let us know in the comments down below!
Episode 31 (I… I Want To Be Of Help To You, Sissy)
After summer vacation and everything, this futuristic city is under attack. Many labs including Shinasame University DNA Map Analysis lab are under fire. It causes the teams to be roused even during such chaos. Mikoto sighs after finding out that she cannot use the labs. She is happy with the progress she has made so far but still is disappointed. She has to take down these enemies by herself. Will she be able to win alone? Curious to find out? Watch A Certain Scientific Railgun!
Episode 41
(Study Group)
Mikoto applied for an application so that she could get extended periods outside the dorms. The supervisor looking at her application found many odd things. Her reason is the same as others which is “studying with friends”. So, what mystery is behind this reason?
Episode 42 (Moving)

In a building, ITEM shouts out their confusion regarding the operation and the weapons. Their mission wasn’t that hard; they just couldn’t find the traces of opposition. Rikou feels something strange about this situation. Suddenly, a steel beam attacks them. Is the opposition team still there?
Episode 43 (Academic Reach Assembly)
A girl named Ferbie shows up and Saten handles her just well. She also mentions Mikoto’s name and that’s when Mikoto introduced herself to her after hearing Kuroko’s joke. Kuroko the crackhead joked about this little girl being Mikoto’s daughter and was punished instantly.
Episode 44 (Febrie)
After Uihara, the Anti-Skill team goes to the scene. They find out the malfunction in security robots that were participating in the school. They didn’t know that these robots had yet to receive the powers.
Episode 45 (Darkness)
After getting surprised by hearing the truth behind Febrie’s nature, Mikoto hears that Febrie’s body could produce poison too! She could literally kill her too since she’s been super close to Mikoto! I know you guys are just as surprised as Mikoto right now! Calm down.
Episode 46 (STUDY)

Mikoto faces difficulty as she decides to turn against one of her enemies. The enemy is none other than Therestina Kihara Lifeline. On the other hand, ITEM is enjoying her time at a swimming pool and relaxing there. Should she be relaxing while Mikoto is suffering?
Episode 47
(Silent Party)
Aritomi gets applauded by the audience due to the good speech he delivered. He was suddenly reminded of this memory. He, later on, realizes that the idea of everyone having equal chances of success wasn’t actually good.
Episode 48
