MELIODAS VS NARUTO

Meliodas’ Prowess

meliodas

Meliodas is known as the Dragon Sin of Wrath and is the captain of the Seven Deadly Sins. He’s also the current king of Kingdom Liones. His holy treasure is the demon sword with inherited powers which are full counter! His skills and powers are legendary, let’s get into it!

Meliodas has Superhuman physique. Since Meliodas is a demon, he’s much stronger and faster than ordinary humans. Meliodas absorbed the commandments and eventually became a vessel for the Demon King. Ever since that moment, Meliodas’ body became taller and muscular.

When Meliodas was in the Holy War, he claimed to have a solution for breaking the curse of freeing himself and Elizabeth from the demon king and destroying the curse in Seven Deadly Sins Manga Chapter 306. As a result, he destroyed the curse and freed himself from it too!

seven deadly sinsFull Counter enables Meliodas to reflect the attack of his enemy and he can send the attack back by adding more power in it. However, Full Counter can only be used on magical attacks. Another ability that Meliodas possesses is Counter Vanish. It does not reflect enemies’ attacks. However, it diminishes the energy in their attacks.

Revenge Counter is one of the strongest techniques used by Meliodas, he can suck up all the damage before he slouches all of the power in his sword. As a result, he can unleash a powerful attack onto his enemies.

Meliodas can also do demonic black flames that can’t be put out easily. But only Meliodas can control these flames. These are also known as Enchantment Hellblaze. These flames helped in nullifying the immortal’s regeneration in a battle against ban in Seven Deadly Sins Manga Chapter 56.

He can diffuse these flames into his fists, feet, and weapons. These flames increase Meliodas’ prowess.

Using Kami Chigri he can release powerful black fire. Meliodas can also use some other dark powers to protect himself against the opponents.

Weapons

These are some of the prominent weapons used by Meliodas. For instance, he uses the  Dragon Handle which is a broken blade, he can use this blade in ordinary fights to hold back his demonic powers. However, if he wants to unleash his inner demon, he can use the swords’ . This blade can also causes illusions to scare off Meliodas’ enemies.

Another prominent weapon used by Meliodas is Liz’s Sword. This sword was given to him by his late lover named Liz. Although the sword is normal yet it makes Meliodas’ skills very deadly when he uses it.

Lostvayne is also known as Meliodas’ precious treasure as shown in Seven Deadly Treasure Manga Chapter 1. It’s a magical weapon that can expose Meliodas’ full power when he uses it. After using this weapon, Meliodas can createPhysical Clones, making four clones of himself. Meliodas can also use Full Counter in this form which can reflect four attacks instantly!

Meliodas’s Bone Sword resembles Full Counter as it was shown in Seven Deadly Sins Manga Chapter 272.

Demon Form

Meliodas was bestowed with Commandment of Love by the Demon King in Seven Deadly Sins Manga Chapter 268. However, he later on got rid of Commandment of Love by betraying the Demon Clan.

Like many other MCs, when Meliodas gets angry he can evolve or can become a demon! This enables him to use the demonic powers. For instance, we get to see a black pattern on his forehead which improves the accuracy, strength, and speed of his attacks.

With his anger, the black pattern spreads throughout his body. As this pattern spreads, Meliodas can manipulate his weapons, limbs, armou, and even cause a blast made up of dark matter!

But we don’t want to see the full potential our boy Meliodas holds. When he fully becomes a demon, he becomes cruel and ruthless. Even the members of the Ten Commandments fear this power.

Supernatural Abilities

supernatural abilities

His magic or supernatural attack is also known as “Full Counter” through which he can collect a large amount of magic and is able to reflect the opponents’ attacks in the battle. If the attacks of his opponents are strong, it’ll be better for Meliodas since he reflects their attacks.

However, his Full Couner can increase the strength of the reflected attack hundreds of times! To carry out this magic trick, he can use any object including a wooden stick, spoon, or hilt of the broken sword.

Naruto’s Prowess

naruto

Naruto is one of the shinobi belonging to Konohakagure Village. He also became a jinchuriki when he was born, all thanks to Nine-Tails. He was named after the main character, Naruto Musabi in Jiraya’s first book as shown in Naruto Manga Chapter 382.

Even though Naruto was an incompetant ninja yet he knocked out many strong genin like Hyuga and Gaara in Naruto Manga Chapter 168. This resulted in Naruto gaining acknowledgment from many other senins for his potential.

Under various guardships, Naruto defeated many members of Akatsuki. And just like that, he earned Konohakagure’s praises and respect. During the fourth Shinobi world war, Naruto himself defeated many Jinchuriki and kage. Our boy also competed against Madara Uchiha and Tonerio Tsotsuki! Many people believe that they won the Shinobi war thanks to Naruto!

When Naruto turned into an adult, his prowess resulted in him becoming the Seventh Hokage in Naruto Manga Chapter 691. Thus, he was known as the strongest shinobi in history.

Along with his overwhelming jutsu and Sasuke’s strength, they destroyed a whole continent. With their powers combined they became unstoppable and defeated Otsusuki’s vessel.

Chakra and Physical Prowess

naruto chakra

As an Uzumaki, Naruto has immense reserves of Chakra in his body. In fact, his chakra is four times more than Kakashi’s as shown in Naruto Manga Chapter 315. Karine described his chakra as warm and bright. His poor control of chakra was neutralized by reserved chakra which was more than enough to endure three days of battles!

After his battle against Sasuke, he showed exhaustion. Even during that time, he could fight and win! As the story progressed, Naruto’s control over his chakra improved! In his adulthood, his chakra is more than powerful enough to destroy various barriers by simply releasing a burst of his chakra! He was even able to repel Shikimaru’s shadow imitation technique as shown in the Shikimaru Shinden Novel.

His chakra can also turn into a big ball resengan when combined with Boruto’s vanishing rasengan. As a result, they defeated Momoshiki Otsusuki.

Naruto often uses shadow clowning and creates a  large number of his clowns. Due to Jiraya’s training, Naruto became better at Taijutsu. He was taught Sage Mode which allows him to absorb chakra from his surroundings or nature aka Senjutsu Chakra. Taijutsu made Naruto physically strong. So, it wouldn’t be wrong to say that Naruto is actually quite strong. He also has a Six Paths Sage Mode which enables him to move at the speed of light!

Demon Form

demon form

We all know the Nine-Tailed fox demon that lives inside of Naruto, right? Naruto inherited his mother’s unique chakra along with Kurama’s. So, his chakra has been mixed with Kurama’s that allows him to perform many techniques. Initially, he was able to use Kurama’s chakra when he got angered greatly. With more anger, Naruto could lose control over himself and he’d turn into more foxy forms. Thus, whenever Naruto loses control over his body, he’d need someone to assist him into regaining the control over his body.

After the fourth great Shinobi War, Naruto had access to the version one of Kurama without losing control over his own body. Since he realized that he couldn’t avoid using Kurama, Naruto decided to control it with Killer B who has a jinchuriki, Gyuki, that has fully mastered its powers. Eventually, Naruto could access Nine-Tails’ chakra mode that increased his physical parameters too! In this mode, Naruto can also detect negative emotions around him shown in Naruto Manga Chapter 293! As the story progresses, we get to see Naruto summoning Kurama as a separate entity to fight the enemies.

Comparison

NARUTO VS MELIODAS

Naruto and Meliodas are known to be one of the most popular shonen protagonists out there. Let’s start off with Meliodas since in the anime he starts out more powerful than Naruto!

We all know that Meliodas can slice up a large hill in just a swing of a twig. He’s known to be quite fast and can even handle thunder lightning attacks. The main technique of Meliodas is Full Counter that reflects the attacks of his enemies. However, it’s questionable if these moves could work against chakra.

Meliodas is surely very hard to kill since he has seven hearts and he can regenerate most parts of his body.

meliodas

On the other hand, Naruto starts off with having a lot of chakra and clone copies of himself as shown in Naruto Manga Chapter 75. We know that Naruto stands no chance against even the weakest form of Meliodas. The only way he can have a solid chance of winning against Meliodas is by using Wind Release: Rasenshuriken!

Using Wind Release, Naruto was able to defeat Kakazu who survived two tails attacks. In terms of speed, Naruto is comparable to Kakashi when he sliced lightning. So, speed-wise Naruto should be able to keep up with Meliodas. However, when it comes down to it, I think Meliodas will still be able to beat up this version of Naruto!

And if Full Counter works on chakra attacks, we know who’s winning! And I don’t think Naruto will be able to survive his own shuriken with twice the strength stored in it. Even if Full Counter doesn’t work, Meliodas will still be able to survive shuriken due to regeneration! Eventually, he’ll end up using a  revenge counter.

If Meliodas gets pushed to his limits, he’ll activate his demon form that results in increasing his strength even more. But that doesn’t mean Naruto will be an easy prey. Let’s not forget that Naruto also has Sage Mode that will allow him to scrape Meliodas in a close combat. But then again, there’s a time-limit on Sage Mode, so the chances of losing are more here.

However, if he comes prepared and summons his Sage Mode clones like he did with Pain, then he won’t lose! Meliodas on the other hand is also able to produce his clones after using his sacred treasure. It also allows his clones to use Full Counter. So, if Full Counter works on Sage Mode, Naruto will be defeated!

The Winner

meliodas

The fight between Meliodas Vs Naruto would be intense! On one side, we have our magic user Meliodas while on the other side we have one of Konoha’s best ninjas, Naruto. But the fight will be won after many hardships. Although both of them are known as great fighters who would pass the conditions of being a match for each other.

However, Meliodas will win! He clearly has more chances of winning by using his dark techniques. Naruto might surpass him in some things like speed and physical strength. But Meliodas started off much powerfulluy in the series. And he possesses much intense skills too!
