I know y’all love trios, right? In my opinion, an anime is incomplete if it doesn’t feature an iconic trio. Most famous anime feature a trio that fans adore and remember for a long time. Even if there isn’t a trio, fans would just make one lol!

First Trio to feature on our list are Tanjirou, Zenitsu, and Inosuke. All three of them are demon slayers and work for the Demon Slayer Corps and just like any other trio, their personalities differ ALOT!!!
Tanjirou is the most calm and collected one of them. Zenitsu, on the other hand, is either always crying or shouting. And don’t even get me started with Inosuke. This dude is a menace. He can’t even get Tanjiro’s name right lol! His calling Tanjirou Kamaboko Gonpachiro still gets me.
Still, they make a great trio, and their personas complement each other. It would get a little boring if all three of them were alike.

The next trio is from our fav Jujutsu Kaisen. Itadori, Fushiguru, and Nobara are first-year students at Jujutsu High. The three of them have different abilities and of course, their personas are also different.
Their trio usually goes withItadori and Nobara doing stupid stuff and Megumi getting annoyed. It’ really fun watching them interact like this. Their fighting styles also complement each other as we saw when Itadori and Nobara fought the cursed children. They were too BADASS!!

How can you make a list of best anime trios and not include this one? It’s just not possible, is it?
Eren, Mikasa, and Armin are one of the most prolific trio of all time. They’ve been friends since childhood and even got into the Survey Corps together.
Mikasa is the strongest amongthem and is always saving their butts. Eren is the troublemaker who always gets into trouble and Armin is…ummm…. The innocent kid who knows nothing. Just kidding!!! Armin is the smartest one of them and we’ve witnessed this multiple times during the series.
Well! We don’t get to see many wholesome buddy moments with this trio as they are always fighting titans. But, we do know that they care a lot about each other and would do anything to protect others.

This trio is literally the strongest trio in the animeverse.
Well! Vegeta doesn’t really like Broly, but he still trains alongside him. He doesn’t even like Goku tho. Broly is like an innocent guy who knows nothing except fighting. Goku is always annoying Vegeta, and Vegeta is in his usual mood, THE PROUD SAIYAN PRINCE!!!
The important thing related to them is training and fighting. Goku always wants to fight strong opponents, and Vegeta and Broly are the perfect match for him.

The next trio to feature on this list is Naruto, Sakura, and Sasuke AKA the team 7. The three of them had always known each other, but they were formally introduced after becoming Genins. They are a part of Team 7 under the surveillance of Kakashi Hatake.
Sakura had always been head over heels for Sasuke, and Naruto for Sakura. Sasuke, however, was not interested in any of this. All he wanted was revenge. He and Naruto make such a great duo during their fighting. Their fighting styles complement each other perfectly.
Naruto always considered Sasuke his friend and was the first one to go after him when he left the village. They even became enemies for some time, but Naruto never stopped believing in Sasuke that he’d come back. And guess what? He DID!!

The next trio is also from Naruto. Shikamaru, Choji, and Ino are the 16th generation of the infamous Ino-Shika-Cho team and are a part of team 10 under the surveillance of Asuma.
Their friendship is just LEGENDARY!!! They have a unique fighting style utilizing Shikamaru’s shadow possession jutsu, Ino’s mind possession jutsu, and Choji’s expansion jutsu. Their abilities perfectly complement each other.
They really care about each other and would do anything for each other. Even after the death of their sensei, Asuma, they didn’t break up and decided to work together to find the murderer and kill him.

Also known as the Three Legendary Sannin, these three are one of the strongest characters in the series. They are also regarded as the heroes of the 2nd Great Ninja War. Tsunade even served as the Hokage. Jiraiya was also Hokage level, but he always refused to become one.
Jiraiya’s perverted nature got him into trouble sometimes. But, it is really fun to see his interaction with Tsunade. Well! Orochimaru did become evil, but Jiraiya and Tsunade never hated him. Why? Because he was their comrade once, and soon enough he turned a new leaf and returned to Konoha.
