Anime has always been inclusive of characters from different races, religions, and genders. More specifically, they’re known for their portrayal of characters from the LGBTQ+ community. Unlike other mediums, anime always tries to celebrate their gender.
However, today, we will be solely focusing on transgender anime characters. Creating a transgender character can actually go sideways but these talented writers made sure to give each character depth and development regardless of their gender.
