Introduction
If you don’t know about this anime, how would you have found this list anyways lmao! Moving on, let me explain a little about this anime first before I start with the characters list.
Our MC, William, who was lifeless, suddenly found himself in another world and then….He found a mummy, a ghost and a skeleton!

What a unique way to start an anime, they all teach him about the world and raise William as their own child. They helped him grow up and then one day, when our MC, William, was old enough, he had to go out and explore the world himself. That’s all I can explain since I don’t wanna spoil this any further!

Alex
Alex Is the companion of Glen, and he is a teenager and a human. He is a male but…It’s not 100% that he will be male, as he can maybe be a female. Who knows?:)
He is mature, and he is very respectful to others as well. He wears chainmail armor underneath, has an old wand that he uses as a weapon against enemies, and he also wears a dark color robe.
He is an old man with grey hair as shown in the manga, and he is also a dwarf.
If you ask me, I think dwarfs are pretty cool, lmao! And he is a male, unlike Alex whose gender is unknown. He is in the southmark, has a large beard and clean head shave. He also wears a brown coat with white fur near the neck.
Anna
Anna Is a priest and she assists William. She calls William, my lord, I don’t really know why, lmao! She marries Reystov after making a very close relationship with him.
She is an adult and has long braided hair with a very serious expression on her face. She was an orphan in the largest orphanage of the country that was run by Bart Bagley, and she also used to call him her father, despite them not being related by blood.
Soon, she got adopted and went to Whitesails. Despite a bad past, she is very kind and cares a lot for others. She also tries to have a formal attitude with everyone else.
Anna is also very efficient and works hard.
Antonio
He is a friend of William and a very, very skilled negotiator.
Antonio had a wife before but sadly, she passed away as she used to fall sick very quickly, and despite that, she was a very nice person and smart too. After she passed away, Antonio fell on some hard times and his business went down until!
One day, he meets William, who helped him to get back on his feet. He is still in his 30s and shows a friendly expression with others and doesn’t show any kind of danger.
P.S. He is a trusted friend of William!
Augustus
He is the foster grandfather of William, and he protects the seal of the High King.
He is a specter with blue eyes and white hair. He died during the High King attack, but soon made a contract with Stagnate. Wanna know about the contract? Well, simple! He made a contract with him to return back, but as an un-dead. he was a human before he died though.
He is rude to basically everyone except his family and friends. All he wants is knowledge, despite that he was a wandering sage and due to the contract with Stagnate, he must eliminate anyone who shows harm and one of them Is William too. And no! He doesn’t hate William but he is still rude to him though!
He sees William as his grandchild too and never hated him, not even once.
P.S. Did you know that he tried killing William but later decided not too? Why, you may ask?
Well, if he wants he can EASILY kill William, but he doesn’t really want to.
Aurvangr
He was the last ruler of the iron country, a specter, and his gender is male.There’s not much known about this character, but all I know about him is that…He never FEARED evil and always fought back. He wanted peace and the best part…He DIED with HONOR!

Bart Bagley
He is the head bishop of the temple in whitesails.
He is elderly and likes to wear religious clothes. He is a male, his hair color is white and he is a human.
Blaze
Finally! The first god on this list! But not just any normal god.
He is the god of both FIRE and TECHNOLOGY, and that’s so damn cool if you ask me!
His personality is not shown yet, so meaning his personality is unknown. He is also known as the forefather of dwarves or the dwarven god, due to the fact he is a dwarf lmao! And it is told that he was the one who forged CallDawn, a legendary sword.
Blood
He is a skeleton and foster father of William.
He has red hair and blue eyes, he died and then, just like Augustus, he made a contract with Stagnate and got revived as an undead. He likes to adventure and always tries to seek battle for some reason, he is just too hot-blooded lmao!
He loved William and wanted him to grow, unlike Augustus, who tried to assassinate William. Also, when Augustus tried to kill William, he later told William that it was a test and taught him how to fight against a sorcerer.
He is a fun person sometimes but despite that, he keeps some serious secrets from William but only to protect him. By the way, did you know he was known as the War Ogre? And sadly, after 200 years of being undead, he lost his contract with Stagnate and his soul was taken away by Stagnate.

Carmela Faraqa
She is the chief of Faraqa village, a female and a human.
She is in her 20s.
Creator
Some of you might have guessed by the name, the creator, the one who made the skies, the heaven, the gods, the earth, and the whole universe.
He created a day and night system. He divided good and evil. He split up heaven and earth, and he was the first-ever god as well. Soon, he got killed by other gods and his personality is unknown, so we don’t really know much about him.
All I know is that he used to have long hair, pointed ears and used to behave like an animal.

Dinelind
She is an elf with violet eyes and blonde hair. She is the acquaintance of William.
We can also call her dine for short.
Dyrhygma
Damnnn! There are a lot of gods in this anime and this one especially, The god of DIMENSIONS!! That’s so dang cool!
And unlike every other god, this god’s personality is unknown but do you know that this god is also known as a malice god? The demons are this god’s minions, they come from straight hell.
Egbert II
He was the king of the Fertile kingdom and not gonna lie, he ran the kingdom very well!
Dyrhygma
This one is a god of knowledge. Like others, this god’s personality is also UNKNOWN, and we don’t know anything about this god yet, but maybe… in the future?
Despite the personality being unknown, in the City of the Dead, there’s a statue that shows this god holding a book, a staff, and has long hair.
Ethelbald Rex Southmark
He is the brother of the king known as king Owen, and he is in his 30s.
His hair is white, he wears a noble suit, and his eye color is yellow.

Faraqa was the founder and leader of the Faraqa Village.

He is a giant and an acquaintance of William
Glen
Glen is an adventurer and an acquaintance of William. He is a teenager with hazel eyes and messy black hair. He wears leather armor and wields a mace and a dagger that is known as the Pale Moon. Pretty cool name for a dagger!
He has a strong sense of justice, but despite that, he is still hot-headed. His parents abandoned him, or maybe they passed away when he was young, and that led Glen to become an adventurer to meet new people and fight for justice.
P.S. Do you know that the dagger, Pale Moon, is passed down to him?
Gracefeel
Gracefeel is a goddess that uses flame and eternal flex, and she is the guardian deity of William, she is also the ruler of souls and ruler of the eternal cycle. She has long black hair, purple eyes, and she holds a lantern in her right hand.
She has an emotionless face, but despite that, she is very kind, gentle, and really loves others. As you know that she is the guardian of William, right? Well, I guess gods also got expressions because when William was talking to another goddess she felt jealousy, interesting.
She was a well-known goddess at first but soon, people stopped following her and that made a lot of people forget her gender, that’s just crazy if you ask me. Also, there’s another god called Stagnate,
I will mention him soon but the first time she met William was in winter solstice and that’s when she gave William her power, or you can say, her blessings to William in order for him to fight Stagnate, that is known as the god of undead.
She also has Echo that she uses to manifest a body and sacred fire that she uses to purify any unholy poison.

High King
Finally, a demon king on this list!
High King is a demon king who tried to take over the Southmark but with the help of the wandering sage, he was sealed under the earth.
P.S. Je tried to take over Southmark like 200 years ago, meaning it’s been 200 years since he has been trapped under the earth.
I
Illtreat
Illtreat is another god. His personality is unknown, but Mary used to say that he had long hair and was a dark humanoid.
He is also known as the god of war, and he seems to not like his brother a lot. Since he has fought COUNTLESS battles with his brother and at the end he lost, he had to stay in the middle of the earth so that he can store enough power again. For him to try to fight his brother.
He is also the uncle of Gracefeel and Stagnate and his brother’s name is Volt, who is another god.
J
John
John is known as the resident in one of the villages in the Beast Wood, and it Is heard that he will become a torch port later on.
K
Kittelsen
He is an invincible giant, and he has promised Faraqa that he will protect the village source, and he has been protecting the village for the past few centuries.

Marple
Marple used to be a resident of the village in beast wood, but she later died when the demons attacked her land. Soon, she got revived as a specter and AGAIN, she departed after she said farewell to Meneldor.
Mary
She is the mother of our MC, William, and she is also a mummy.
She looks like a mummy, and she has green eyes and golden hair. She wears some kind of thing to cover her eyes and she was also a human but died during the High King attack. Then she made a contract with Stagnate and got revived as an undead. Though she later breaks her contact with Stagnate and her soul was taken from her, meaning she died.
She loved William and was really, really kind and caring. She wanted William to be a nice person and always wanted him to grow up strong. She used to pray to Mater, the earth-mother, and even after she became undead, she kept praying to her, and no, she didn’t pray to her so that she could be forgiven.
She knew she betrayed her and never asked the god, Mater, to forgive her.
But later on in Episode 5 of the anime, when she almost got killed by Stagnate, we saw that the earth-goddess gave her blessing to Mary, and protected her. That means, she was forgiven from the very start. Also, she does later die as Stagnate already took her soul, but she asked Gracefeel, the god of rebirth and death, to give her a little more time, so she can see William go.
P.S. Do you know that she is also the daughter of Mater?
Mater
Mater is a goddess, also known as the earth mother. She is the one who is associated with the raising of children and gifts of the earth. She has golden hair and has a very gentle face too. She is very kind, and she really cares for her followers.
She married Volt and had Stagnate, Gracefeel, and Mary. Soon, Stagnate started to become evil and became Mater’s biggest enemy. It was also seen that when Mary almost died, she stopped the echo of Stagnate and saved Mary.
Mostly the people of the rural areas are her most devoted followers, and they believe in both Mater and her husband, Volt. During the High King attack, she sealed the High King with the help of the Wandering Sage, who is also known as Augustus.
Meneldor
He is a loyal friend of William. He has silver hair and his eye color is jade. He is also half-elf, even though he might look like a female, but he is a male…I got confused at the start too. He acts kinda savage and the first time he met William, he acted kinda mean to him.
He was born in the grassland. As he is half-elf and half-human blood, his people didn’t accept him, so he had no choice but to become an adventurer and escape from his hometown to go to another place. He soon found a village and started to live there but one day, the village was attacked by some demons and…half of the people there died.
But later in Episode 6, we have seen that William then defeats all the demons in the village and saves the other half. And do you know that after the village was attacked, he went to the other neighbouring village to get food and supplies, and that’s when William came because Gracefeel showed William what will happen to the village.

Pip used to be an adventurer, but soon he died while he was killing the demons in beast wood.

Reystov
He is a very skilled adventurer, and he is also a companion of our MC, William. He is an adult, a human, and he has long, messy black hair.
He is a self-proclaimed madman, and he is pretty rough too. He likes seeing and participating in battles, and always seeks glory. Despite that, he still cares a lot for others, and he is INSANELY skilled. He also has a sense of humor.
He is the second son of the chief in a village located in Volt’s Stove. When he was at his uncle’s house at the age of 10, his tribe was BETRAYED and killed. When he finds out, he swore to himself that he will train every day to become strong and, one day, AVENGE his family. It really hurts getting betrayed…He is also well-known and respected, too.
Rhea Silva
She is a goddess who controls the water and greenery of the earth. She is also the mother of Elves.
As always, this goddess’s personality is also unknown and all we know is that she had a fairy in her left hand, and she also had a bow in her right hand and had pointy ears just like any other elf.
She is the one who rules over the whole world’s water and the forests.
Robina Goodfellow
She is a close friend of William and likes to tell stories of good deeds, even while she is singing! She has green eyes, brown hair, and she is also a Halfling.
She is also very active and cheerful when she meets a new person or when she is around her friends. She also loves to sing and eat food.
She used to travel with female sorcerers until one day when they somehow separated…Soon, Robina finds out that her friend died. Pretty sad!

Stagnate
Finally, the character that has been mentioned so much in this list has come!
Stagnate is the daughter of Mater and an evil god.
She has red eyes and looks lifeless. She is also slender with pale skin, and she even looks like someone in which the blood doesn’t run and believe me or not… Stagnate is not a MALE, she is a FEMALE!
Woah!! Throughout the list, I thought stagnate was a male, but I guess I was just wrong lmao!
She got different forms like Echo, Herald, and Goddess. In Echo, as I explained already, she takes the form of a slender woman with pale skin. In Herald, she takes the form of a black colored raven.In the goddess form, she takes the form of a goddess with red eyes and black hair with a red aura surrounding her.
She wants her army of undead to grow, and she is also very mean to people. Stagnate is also very greedy.

Tom
Tom Is an elder of one of the villages located in beast woods.

Volt
Volt is a God who is the ruler of Lightning and Justice.
It is shown that he has short hair, a sword in his left hand and a set of scales in his right hand.
He is the father of Stagnate and Gracefeel, and the husband of Mater. He also has an elder brother named llltreat who has fought COUNTLESS battles with Volt. Volt is also known as the leader of all gods that are not evil.
Valacirca
Woaahh! Finally, a dragon on this list!!Is it just me, or aren’t dragons just BADASS and so DAMN COOL? Valacirca has golden eyes and he is a male. He is also an elder dragon
Vice-Bishop
He is one of the people in charge of the temple located in white-sails.
Vindalfr
He is a dwarf and a friend of Our MC, William. He is a coward but very loyal and kind to his friend. He has black hair, and he is the grandson of the iron country’s king.
W
Whirl
He is a god and ruler of wind and exchange. He is also the Progenitor of Halflings. He is a Halfling with pointy ears and long hair. He holds a chalice in his left hand and a coin in his right hand.
William G Maryblood
Finally, Our MC we all have been waiting for so long!
William G. Maryblood is this anime’s Main Character. He was born in the City of the Dead and was then raised by Mary, Blood, and Gus. Mary was a mummy, Blood was a skeleton and Gus was a ghost.
When he reincarnated, he still had memories of his past life that helped him learn magic and other stuff pretty quickly. When he became an adult, he swore to Gracefeel that he will be her sword and banish the evil from the world as…The stronger you swore, the more blessing you will get, but the stronger your swore will be, the more problems you will have to face during your adventure. He has orange hair and orange eye color.
He cares a lot for others and doesn’t like killing any humans as he doesn’t like killing and hates to kill. Even when the first time he killed a bird, he became insanely sad. He also helps others who are in need.
He was brought to the City of the Dead by some demons, and he was meant to be a sacrifice to revive the High King again. But, Blood and Mary killed the demons and took in William despite Gus being against it as he said that Blood and Mary will start to forget about the seal and lose the contract with Stagnate.
He swore to himself that he will have a good life and use his previous life as his motivation so that he can grow and get stronger. He trained daily with Blood and Gus. Blood taught him Swordsmanship, and Gus taught him how to use magic.
P.S. Do you know that Gus was able to do a Quadruple spell? Meaning in simple words, in this world we use words and an average mage can do only 1. He was able to do 4 that will be IMPOSSIBLE for any other sorcerer.

Misaki No Mayoiga This movie is another novel adaptation and was made in honor of the earthquake and tsunami that devastated Japan 10 years ago. It will be produced by Davis studio, the same studio that made JoJo no Kimyou na Boukenand Enen no Shouboutai. You already guessed it, this will be a Drama on the journey of a teenage girl trying to adapt to a new life, surrounded by new people after losing her parents due to an earthquake. This movie is sure to make you cry your eyes out. Release date: 2021 1. Yuru Camp △ Movie To end on a cheerful note, MAPPA is presenting to us the Yuru Camp △ Movie. The fans are very reluctant to know what the movie can possibly be about since a single camp trip isn’t enough to create an interesting plot. Nobody is getting his hopes up just yet but MAPPA may have a plan to surprise us. We will just have to sit tight and wait since we have very limited information on the subject. Release date: 2022 Conclusion: In terms of movies, 2021 and 2022 are absolutely not disappointing us. The comeback of legendary animes paired with sequels of adventures on our newest heroes really gives us something to look forward to during the difficult years we are passing through.
