New-gen anime are often criticized for their poor set of characters and repetitive stories. They are often called copies of their ancestors.
Boruto is the continuation of the legendary anime Naruto. Naruto had a great story with multiple life lessons. It had everything including amazing fight scenes, great characters, and emotions, etc. Boruto, on the other hand, is trying to catch up to the peak of its ancestor.

Delta is one of the antagonists and part of an evil association, Kara. Kara has extremely strong members and Delta is one of them. Most of them are comparable in strength to Naruto and Sasuke.

Appearance
Boruto has some amazing character designs. Each character has a charm that separates them from the rest of the characters. Delta, too, has a great design that stands out. Her design suits her strong character. The Color “Yellow” is her characteristic, as it has been used a lot in her design. She has long blonde hair. Her eyes are purple-colored with yellowish shading. Vertical lines run through her eyes due to the technological addition to her eyes. Most of the Kara members have roman numbers as symbols on their bodies. Delta has the Roman number “I” as a symbol. She also wears yellow-colored lipstick and similar colored nail polish.
Her outfit is turquoise-colored with a heart-shaped cut-out on the backside and triangular-shaped bishop sleeves. She also wears triangular earrings and her tights have black and white stripes. When she goes out, she rocks a black cloak over her dress that completes her look.

Personality
Delta has been shown quite furious and powerful. She has quite a short temper. She regards her missions as the top priority and gets really angry if they are delayed. She is pretty straightforward and expresses her views about others openly. She hates other members of Kara except for Jigen as she respects him a bit.
She can be seen worried about her weight which indicates that she cares about her appearance.
Delta is quite impatient which can be seen on multiple occasions in the anime. She quickly got furious when the mission regarding the recovery of Kawaki from Konohagakure was getting late.
She is confident in her skills as she attacked Kawaki while Naruto ( The strongest Shinobi) was present with him. She seemed pretty confident as she confronted the Legendary Shinobi. She is quite intelligent as well. She saw through Naruto’s attempt of getting information from her while pretending to be weak. She has an extreme complex of superiority as she considers herself the best and the others as fodder. She confronted Naruto as he was nothing compared to her. Manga Chapter 31
Besides her fighting skills and power, she is pretty unsympathetic towards others. She does not care what happens to others as long as she achieves her goals. She is not afraid to kill. After Kara bought Kawaki from his father, Delta can be seen beating him and forcing him to do chores. Even during her fight with Naruto Uzumaki, she used Himawari as a hostage so she could lure Naruto into her beam’s pathway. She displayed no emotion as she tried to kill an innocent child just to achieve her goals. She has no emotions of love and respect for others. She considered Kawaki an idiot as he saved Naruto and Himawari by sacrificing his arm. Manga Chapter 32. She considers Kawaki and Jigen tools, not humans. She calls them “Vessels” and tries to use them as tools made for the benefit of Kara.
Delta’s hot-bloodedness and her naivety is her biggest weakness as she does things without thinking. However, this also makes her one of the most dangerous characters.
Strengths and Skills
Visual powers
Delta has pretty broken abilities as she is basically a cyborg. Her body has been modified to fight. She is the perfect counter for ninjutsu. She can absorb attacks and reflect them. Her fight with Naruto is the perfect showcase of her abilities. Kawaki can be seen as terrified of her and calls her a monster. She was able to go toe to toe with Naruto even though he was not fighting using his full abilities, as he wanted to capture Delta alive.
Delta’s eyes have been modified to an extent that she can counter any ninjutsu by absorbing it. She can be seen absorbing Naruto’s Rasengan multiple times during her fight with him. She can also throwback attacks she absorbed.
She can also use a throw a beam of light from her eyes which negates all regenerative abilities. So, anyone who comes into contact with her laser gets obliterated.
Body Modification
Amado is a scientist and a member of Kara who modified both Delta and Kawaki’s bodies. This modification basically made Delta a cyborg. She has extreme regenerative abilities and can modify her body into different shapes, using it as a deadly weapon. Kawaki has the same abilities. She can transfer her consciousness into spare bodies in case her original body gets destroyed. She also has some drones that navigate and investigate for her. The drones are basically invisible to other people as they don’t operate on chakra reserves. Furthermore, her drones can detect invisible objects.
Her legs allow her to travel long distances as they modify into a rocket. This ability comes in pretty handy in combat as well.
Her modified eyes can be seen launching laser beams that can destroy anything and block regenerative abilities. Moreover, the eyes can also absorb attacks like Rasengan. Manga Chapter 32
Delta’s biological modification allows her body to create wood-like extensions from her body that can pierce even Naruto’s armor. She can literally pick up a tree using her modified arms and a single punch from her can injure Naruto to some extent.
She can also be seen covering herself in chakra to increase her already tremendous strength.
Taijutsu
Besides her already broken abilities, Delta has great taijutsu skills as she was able to go toe to toe with Naruto. She was able to put some good hits on Naruto as he was forced to keep his guard up. She even pressured him when she combined herself with her Shinobi-Ware.
Plot
Kara Actuation Arc
Being one of the inners, Delta was invited by Jigen to have a meeting as one of their facilities was blown away in Amegakure.
Ao Arc
In Anime, while testing her equipment, she figured that her modifications were not up to the mark and blamed Amado for this. Delta has always been wary of Amado and considers him a traitor. She wanted to check on him, so she went along with him to check the transfer of a Vessel in Victor’s Stealth ship.
Later, she was called to a meeting regarding the missing Vessel. Jigen told all of the members that the vessel must be recovered. Manga Chapter 16. Jigen used equipment modification as an excuse to check any suspicious material in the bodies of the Inners. The organization was already in trouble, as one of the vessels disappeared and there was an issue regarding traitors among the inners.
Later, Delta taunts Code as she talks about Koji Kashin being one of the favorites of Jigen. She was also quite shocked to hear about Victor’s demise.
Code decided to expose the traitor on his own. So, he started attacking members as people showed their real colors during fights. He started off with Delta as she holds the Number “1”. Delta, as she is, readily countered him telling him that he seems the happiest with this situation.
This made Code quite angry. Amado then comes and things settle down a bit. He then reveals that the modification checking was just an excuse to uncover the traitor and no traitor was found among them. Delta then starts doubting him, asking him that he can also use this situation to hide his dirty work. Amado counters her by replying that he can gain nothing from this situation. Anime Episode 185
Kawaki Arc
Delta had dinner with Jigen. During the dinner, Delta puts forward her concerns regarding Kashin Koji trying to retrieve Kawaki. Jigen explained to her the reasons. Despite the reasoning, she got angry and wanted permission to check on the progress of the mission. She was later granted permission. Manga Chapter 24
Delta joins Koji on the mission and observes from afar as one of the outers, Garo, was sent to retrieve Kawaki. Delta was quite surprised to see Boruto’s Karma. Both of them observe as Kawaki literally obliterates Garo and faints. Delta considers this the perfect opportunity to recover Kawaki. Koji stops her, suggesting that they should get more information regarding Boruto’s karma. Manga Chapter 25
Later, they went to the main gates of the village. As Kashin Koji was able to infiltrate the village without being detected, he told Delta to remain outside. Delta considered it an insult and grew impatient. Her patience finally gave up and she launched a drone into the village and ordered it to locate Kawaki. Her drone was able to find Kawaki relatively quickly. She considered it an opportunity and jumped into the air using her modified legs. Manga Chapter 30
She finds Kawaki training with Naruto and Boruto. Himawari was also with them. Delta was quite overconfident as she asks Naruto to hand back Kawaki. Kawaki tells Naruto about Delta and warns him about her. The fight begins. Naruto was easily able to overpower her in his base form. Delta, seeing this, used her shinobi ware. The real fight began as Naruto went into his Six Paths Mode.
Naruto tried using Rasengan on her but she was able to absorb it using her modified eyes. Naruto, being quite smart, suppressed his powers so that he could lure Delta into a trap and gather some information from her.
Delta was somehow able to see through the façade and continued the fight more furiously. As she sees that Naruto is able to regenerate himself, she acknowledges his strength and calls him a monster. She puts up a chakra barrier of her own to keep up with the fight.Manga Chapter 31
Growing impatient, she sees no opening and decides to use her trump card, A Laser Beam that negates all regenerative abilities. She uses it on Naruto who dodged it quite easily. Naruto’s dodging made her more furious and she decided to use every means necessary to defeat him. She uses Himawari as a sacrifice and launches a beam at her in hopes that Naruto will try to save her and the beam will hit him. Kawaki however, unexpectedly saves both Naruto and Himawari by sacrificing his arm.
This unexpected event made Delta more furious as she called Kawaki an idiot. Manga Chapter 32
The fight continues as Naruto and Delta exchange some more blows. Delta tries to finish Naruto off using her Laser Beam. Naruto dodges it and launches a Super-Ultra-big-Ball Rasengan at her. Delta tries to absorb the Rasengan but it was too much for her as she overheats and faints. Manga Chapter 33
Her body then self-destructs leaving Naruto in dismay. As Delta can transfer her consciousness to another body, she is still alive. After waking up, she vows to destroy Naruto.
Amado later gives Delta a shutdown command as he and Kashin Koji were trying to leave without Jigen’s consent.
