Black Clover is the kind of anime that takes fans by surprise every now or then. The reason why it has such a massive fanbase is because of it’s ability to keep the fans on the edge of their seats with every coming episode.
Instead of being spoon-fed, we’d like to put our minds to think about some of the most fascinating plot twists and theories from Black Clover that might come true!

12. Lucifero was the demon that Nacht originally tried to pact with that killed his family
From looking at the silhouette of the devil and comparing it to when Dante talked to Lucifero they look very similar. And, it can be potentially true. Who knows? Or it could be other way around. What if Nacht’s parents tried to form a pact with Lucifero and got killed?
Well, this plot twist would be super cool to see it were to happen in the series.
11. Asta and Yuno will be Co-Wizard Kings
Due to not being able to be objectively better than each other or just because “nakama” plot BS that shonen anime tends to do.
Well, honestly, I feel like Yuno is more suited for the leadership role. Sure, Asta is super invested into becoming the next wizard king. But as we all know, just like Yami and William, these both are just opposite side of the same coin. Of course, bother MCs are super strong.
10. Asta marries Nero or Mimosa instead of Noelle
Noelle could die, or she could become the heart kingdom Queen (see #6). Nero is always going to be “the bird with Asta”. It might become more than that. Mimosa might just have the dedication and persistence over the other 2!
This is one of those moments where the real fans might lose it. Just like what happened in Naruto, no one was expecting him to marry Hinata. And when we talk about Mimosa, she’s just like Hinata. Gentle and kind, these are the only words I can think of when I think about Mimosa.
Or, maybe it’s Nero? I hope its Mimosa though!
9. Sister Lily dies for character development
Because why not? But seriously, this would just be a good touch to the feels section of Black Clover for later discussion of why it was a good anime.
Well, it makes a lot of sense. What if Asta & Yuno surpass themselves to the point where no one can even touch them? We all know how sensitive Asta becomes when sister Lily is involved. I don’t want Lily to die of course, but for the sake of plot, may?
8. Yuno returns to become rightful heir of the Spade Kingdom while Asta becomes wizard king
Logical Ending if it stays cliche with only one person being Wizard king (which will more than likely be Asta if it sticks to the cliche as said.)
What if Yuno is given the Wizard King role but he just loses his passion? What if Yuno wants to protect his parents’ kingdom? This makes a lot of sense considering that both of the MCs want to become Wizard King at this point. These types of plot twists always make the story interesting.
7. Asta loses Liebe/Anti-Magic after successfully stopping Dante/Dark triad
Closing the Tree of Qliphoth after it has already been opened can cause ALL devils subsequently counting Liebe to be returned and sealed in the devil world.
This could be the end of Black Clover season? Or maybe its time to delay the Anime. If Liebe is to go away, I’m sure a lot of fans will become angry.
Well, I don’t know for sure, but if Asta loses Liebe, it will be one hell of an interesting plot.

The newly introduced character who’s also suspected to be Asta’s dad just like any other new character.. Or is it perhaps Zoro? Ohhh sorry! Wrong anime!!! However, before getting into the video,
6. Noelle becomes Queen of the Heart Kingdom in honor of Lolopechka; gets Undine after she revives her
Noelle getting Undine is already probably gonna happen based on sheer logic since yuno has Bell and the random semi side character Fuegoleon got Salamander from his small shine time in the early Eye of the Midnight Sun arc.
This would be Noelle’s equivalent to that. Then because she’s become such good friends with lolopechka, she accepts becoming the new Queen as a last dying wish from her friend after avenging her death.
5. Asta (possibly with small group) has to fight his way out the demon world
Somehow during this arc, either the gates to the devil world are closing and Asta has to Jump in willingly to save someone or gets pulled in by an angry devil he just fought as revenge.
Imagine! Asta and his team fighting off countless demons to get out of the demon world. What can be more interesting than that? I’d say that this is one of the best Black Clover plot twists if it’ll come true.
4. Asta forms a contract with another devil in the future as a way of saving it
Along his journey through this arc he meets another low level devil that was able to come over from the gates being open and is scared of the new world and anything in it from the intense abuse from the other devil’s, but asta shows him immense compassion that he can’t turn down and joins asta in another “devil befriending ritual”.
Just like what Naruto did in the series, if Asta makes pacts with multiple demons to face the adversity, that would be even better!
3. Asta becomes new captain of Black Bulls
Yami loses his magic because of the Tree of Qliphoth and Asta is obviously the only one fit to be new captain (Nacht remains Vice captain willingly)
Of course! I think this plot twist has a big chance that it might come true. Asta is well suited for the role to replace Yami. But yea, who knows.
2. Asta sacrifices himself to save the world
The Tree of Qliphoth becomes fully open but right before all hope is lost, Asta uses up all his and Liebes life forces to activate the largest most powerful anti-magic spell to stop the Tree’s complete and final activation, saving the world at the cost of himself.
1. Dark Triad wins
Gag Twist because why not? But this would be a cool way to start an entirely different and much darker, non Shonen style anime
Conclusion
One has to put really keen attention to very small details of what’s happening in the anime in order to figure out some things that they wish they were true. These were some of the plot twists and theories that we figured out. I hope you enjoyed reading them. Please let us know in the comments!
