The Promised Neverland is a series filled with plot twists after plot twists, leaving you, the viewer, on the edge of your seat every time you finish an episode. I’m glad I didn’t watch the anime during its original run, as I would’ve had to wait a week just to watch the next episode.
The show gave us many memorable characters who had their own goals and ambitions. The studio did a great job at giving all the main characters an equal amount of screen time. As a result, every person has a different favorite character from the show.

The chemistry between the characters keeps an anime glued together; without exciting characters, the show falls apart pretty quickly. Though this happens to many anime, Promised Neverland never let this be a problem; in fact, we loved the characters so much that we made a list of their birthdays.
The list is a fun way of knowing which characters were born in the same month as you; some say people born in the same month often share personality traits. Let’s put this belief to the test with the help of this list!

Leslie
Leslie is what we call an antisocial person. He is a pretty shy boy who doesn’t like to do much rather than sing; while singing, he’s in his element; no one can beat him at that.
Mark
Mark is a high-spirited kid who’d risk his life just to save his siblings; his love for them is so immense. Besides that, he loves to eat a lot!
Ray
Despite his rather snarky and introverted demeanor, Ray is pretty protective of his siblings. He likes to read many books. Hence he is one of the smartest in the bunch.
Vincent
Vincent is a pretty chill dude; he loves to hang out with the kids and only becomes serious when ordered to do something.
February
Zazie
Zazie is a rather strange character; no one has ever heard him speak; he just groans. Maybe he doesn’t like to talk(perhaps he likes to be productive, and talking will only waste his precious time). His name is cool though.
Pepe
Pepe is the good boy of Goldy Pond who likes everything perfect and hence works hard for it. To sum it up, he’s a hard-working kid who would do anything for his comrades!
Dominic
Dominic is pretty energetic and is always up for a game of tag, no matter the time. He’s one of the most active kids in the orphanage and isn’t afraid of danger.
March
Norman
Norman is a born leader; he’s always level-headed no matter what the situation. He wants to be perceived as reliable just so that all the other kids feel safe.
Nigel
Though being a guy who works with explodey things, Nigel is pretty friendly with others. He is always ready to do his job for the greater good!
April
Rossi
Rossi is a pretty average kid, he doesn’t understand much, but he does play tag very well. Though many make fun of him, he still cares about them deeply.
Anna
Anna served as a motherly figure to the kids; she realized that the little ones needed care and gave them that. A truly kind-hearted girl.
Lannion
Though the show is pretty dark, kids like Lannion make us and the characters in the show forget about the horrible things by pulling off pranks and being mischievous.
Cislo
When you need muscle, you call in Cislo. Besides being freakishly strong, he’s also very good at using Nunchaku!
May
Gilda
Though sometimes stubborn, Gilda is like a maternal figure to many kids in the group. She likes to take care of them and often plays with them as well.
Chris
Chris is really considerate, especially for a boy of his age. He’s always curious about stuff and cares deeply for his siblings.
Sandy
Sandy is the face of positivity, he likes to stay calm and encourages others to be happy as well, a kind and caring boy to say the least.
June
Sonya
Sonya doesn’t succumb to pressure and always stays calm and cool, never losing her composure. She’s pretty determined and will not stop until she reaches her goals.
Violet
Violet is one of the few who witnessed the brutality of the world with her own eyes. She’s very much caring of the people around her and is determined for vengeance on the ones who caused her harm.
Barbara
Barbara is aggressive and vicious, to say the least, after being the centerpiece of many experiments, she has become really strong. She doesn’t hesitate when killing demons and rejoices when she tortures them!
July
Don
Don is a pretty normal kid, he’s energetic, he loves to play, and is good at tests as well. But sometimes he acts childish and flamboyant, he’s still learning though, and strives to be more mature.
Zack
Zack is the battle-tested veteran from Goldy Pond and has saved many lives many times in his time as a fighter. He is athletic and never loses his cool, even when death is staring right into his face!
Krone
Krone is a selfish woman who only loves the kids so that she would become their Mama and get a better life. She suffered a lot before coming to the orphanage and hence justifies her approach by citing the past.
Jemima
Jemima is a reserved girl who doesn’t open up to many, except to her friends. She acts strangely mature for someone of her age.
Phil
Phil is a carefree boy, he’s really outspoken which explains his shoot-straight attitude towards everyone. Though being small, he really understands everyone’s feelings and loves them a lot.
August
Emma
Emma is an extrovert, to say the least, she loves to hang out with her siblings and is full of optimism. She is fun to be around and never lets anyone feel bad.
Carol
Carol is really fond of Emma and likes to be around her all the time. Apart from that, she loves playing game switches with her siblings!
Thoma
Thoma is a young and energetic fella, he loves pulling pranks and is known for causing havoc in the orphanage. His mind works like an engineer and hence is able to create contraptions and machines!
September
Alicia
Alicia is full of life and loves to take on the role of the group leader. She isn’t afraid of taking risks if these risks mean that her siblings will stay safe!
Conny
Conny isn’t the smartest out of the bunch and is pretty careless as well, but she doesn’t let her low intelligence come in the way, she strives to be better, even if she has to work extra hours than others!
Isabella
Isabella is a really dangerous woman, as she pretends to be nice and selfless on the surface, but in reality, she is a sharp-witted monster!
Sherry
Sherry is a loving and caring individual, especially when she’s sound Norma, she trusts him and loves him dearly.
Peter Ratri
Peter is a ruthless and mad guy who is filled to the brim with rhetoric. He takes his job really seriously and most of the time doesn’t even mind executing humans!
Gillian
Unlike others in the Goldy Pond, Gillian is a rather out-going and fun teenage girl. Though her past was tragic, she doesn’t let that bother her.
October
Jin
Jin is extremely loyal to Minerva and would do anything if ordered. He’s skilled and doesn’t flinch while executing his orders.
Hayato
Despite being fearful, Hayato carries out his orders with ease. He’s especially fond of Jin and like’s his company, they often work together.
Oliver
Oliver is filled with the desire to take revenge and hence will do anything to accomplish his goal. He is known to be extremely protective of his comrades and would even risk his life to save them.
November
Lucas
Lucas was traumatized when he saw his comrades getting killed, this has made him a stronger and calmer individual. He’s ready to risk his life for the greater good of others.
December
Paula
Despite being pretty strong and caring of others, Paula is a reserved girl and doesn’t like talking much. She’s the textbook definition of an introvert!
Nat
Nat is a carefree guy and for some reason really proud of how his nose looks. Though he gets intimidated without much effort, he still is one of the most fun people in the group.
Yugo
Yugo was a person filled with optimism and joy before he lost his family in a battle. Since then he has been quite depressed and doesn’t talk too much.
Yvette
Yvette is a girl who loves art above everything, she even carries pencils and colors everywhere she goes. You don’t know when inspiration might hit you and at times like that, you need to express it on paper!
Conclusion
