“Kimetsu TV News Announcement Special” Live-stream revealed a new teaser for “Demon Slayer: Entertainment District Arc” and also announced that the anime will run on 30 channels that will cover most of Japan. It was also revealed that previously, the anime aired on only 21 channels.

Special Live-Stream
The special live-stream announced that Kimetsu no Yaiba: Mugen Train movie will return to theatres for final screening to 383 theatres from July 22, 2021 to July 29, 2021. In the livestream, studio Ufotable created a birthday card to celebrate Kyojoru Rengoku’s birthday. The people who are there to watch the movie in the cinema will receive the cards as well.
It was revealed that there are some products that are also going to be offered to the filmgoers. A catalogue set was presented in the livestream. There are going to be seven posters that feature some frames from every cut in the movie. The goods that are going to be offered to the fans include badges with some animations printed on them, clear files, and a wind chime that also featured in the movie in Rengoku’s household.
It was also announced that most Fuji affiliate channels will get the uncut version of the movie on television on September 25. The orchestral concerts for the movie’s music will take place on September 4 and 5 in Yokohama.
Background
The manga series was originally written and illustrated by Koyoharu Gotoge. It started publishing in Shueisha’s Shonen Magazine in February 2016. The manga series ended in May 2020 and was compiled into 23 tankobon volumes.
The anime series for Demon Slayer was adapted by Ufotable and was aired in April 2019. The anime series ended in September 2019. In October 2020, a sequel movie titled, “Kimetsu no Yaiba: Mugen Train” was released in October 2020 that topped the box office in Japan and was the most successful anime movie all around the world. It was the highest grossing anime movie in Japan. It is revealed that the second season for the anime, “Demon Slayer: Entertainment District Arc” will be released late in 2020.
In February 2021, four shorts named “Kimetsu Gakuen: Valentine-Hen” were released. The manga for Entertainment District Arc that is being adapted as the anime is also inspiring a Novel that will be shipping on July 16.
