Well, the story of The Promised Neverland revolves around three intelligent children named Emma, Ray, and Norman who found out the secret behind their Orphanage. It was nothing more than children being fed to the monsters outside the Orphanage. No wonder, they didn’t let the kids go outside. Emma 

Emma is one of the main characters in The Promised Neverland. She’s caring and reliable. What’s her motto? She’s highly smart but not as much as Ray and Norman. Both of them are literal beasts. Emma is a bit emotionally driven while Ray and Norman think analytically.

Ray

Ray is also one of the main characters. He’s also known as a model student who gets perfect scores every single time. Ray is strongly loyal to Norman and Emma. He doesn’t want Emma to take all the burden of protecting everyone on her shoulders. That’s why he reassured Emma that he was here for her. He questioned how could 37 students escape the Orphanage. Emma said that no matter what it takes, I want to escape with everyone!  

He looks like a tsundere character due to his hair and expressions, right? Since he’s one of the smartest kids at the Orphanage he’s known as “Premium quality goods”. Unlike other kids who are always energetic and playing around, Ray is different. He doesn’t really enjoy playing with others. In fact, he’s an introverted person. 

If you got Ray on the quiz, you tend to have a soft spot for your loved ones. Just like Ray, you pretend that nothing bothers you but inside, you’re suffering too. You tend to hide how you truly feel just so you don’t burden anyone. Ray is a caring kid who goes to great lengths just to protect his loved ones. He’s very straightforward and blunt at times too.

Norman is also one of our main characters living at Grace Field Orphanage. He’s very smart and overpowered at the same time. When it comes to solving maths riddles, he’s a prodigy. Norman likes to take care of his loved ones too even if it means endangering his own life. He might not look like one smart student but trust me, he really is! Don’t just look at his naive face and think, “aw, he’s a baby”. You never know what happens in an anime. 

Anyways, if you got Norman in your quiz, you’re calm and level-headed. He pretends to have figured things out since he wants to appear “reliable”. Norman is the type of person who quickly moves on with things. For instance, when he found out about the monsters, he accepted this reality. He’s an intelligent being like Ray as he gets perfect scores too. When it comes to achieving his goals, he makes sure to go all-in. 

As far as his abilities are concerned, his calculations are very quick. All of his strength goes to his brain thus he’s physically weak. On the other hand, he’s a really nice leader, every kid likes him at the Orphanage and listens to him well.

Don 

Don is the fourth smartest kid at Grace Field Orphanage who highly cares about his family, especially Conny.  He’s cheerful yet impulsive. If you got Don on the quiz, you are impulsive and take decisions suddenly. He’s friendly to everyone and is surely one of the most warm-hearted kids at the Orphanage. When he became the rival of Norman, he appeared to be quite petty. Thus, like Don, you forgive but you never forget. You want to be the best version of yourself just so you can protect others. This guy is no joke in terms of being kind and helpful. 

Just like Emma, Don is quite emotional and has a soft spot for his siblings. He makes sure that his family’s protected before anything else. Don has great goals. For instance, he wants to become someone upon whom his family can rely on. It’s indeed very hard to see your loved ones getting hurt. At first, this boy might appear to be immature but when you learn about him, you’ll soon realize that he’s actually different.

Anna 

Anna is a 9 years old girl who’s kind and gentle. With her soft tongue, she can’t hurt anyone. If you got Anna, you’re very empathetic towards others. You actually feel the pain others go through and you do everything it takes to just see a smile on their faces. Just like Anna, you love helping out others and you also enjoy gardening. Who doesn’t like seeing flowers bloom?

Unlike other kids, Anna is a professional when it comes to healing people medically. She’s good with medicines thus she’s healing others. That is mainly the reason why she’s known as a motherly figure at the orphanage. Whenever we all get hurt, we miss our mom. Isn’t that right? 

As the story progresses, we actually get to see Anna becoming more of a motherly figure. She knows just when to help others out. She’s often seen standing in front of babies as an act of protecting them. How cute is that? Just like Anna, you stay hopeful and believe in yourself. You believe that you have what it takes to protect others even if you’re just nine years old like Anna. It’s truly a tragedy to lose your loved ones. So, make sure you’re always there for them. Conny 

Conny is one of the supporting characters in The Promised Neverland who’s kind and soft-spoken just like Anna. She’s highly inspired by Isabella and wants to become as good as her. Although she cares about everyone, her absent-mindedness is quite dangerous. It often gets her in trouble. When she departed from the Orphanage, she left her beloved stuffed animal. She forgot to take it with her. How cute yet dumb is that! 

If you got Conny, you often forget things and have no idea what’s going around in your surroundings. You’re compassionate but your carelessness results in not helping others even if you want to. 

Since Emma and Conny grew up together, they always considered one another as family. They loved playing with each other and as a result, they made a lot of happy memories. 

Gilda

Gilda is also one of the supporting characters in The Promised Neverland. She’s also very smart and gentle from the start. If you got Gilda on the quiz, you’re amazing and mature. You quickly understand what others feel about you and you love helping those in need. 

Since Gilda is one of the most mature people, she quickly understands when someone is lying or hiding how they truly feel about others. Gilda is very patient but since our MC aka Emma is quite annoying, she got impatient with her and ended up shouting at her. That’s why she’s got a scary side to her too. Isabella 

Isabella is one of the mothers at the Orphanage who’s a free–spirited and optimistic girl. If you got Isabella on the quiz, you love being the centre of attention and making others laugh. She’s sharp and quickly comprehends a situation which explains she’s smart. However, that’s one side of her. 

If we talk about another side of her, she’s very dangerous, manipulative, and deceiving. Thus, there are many faces of this woman.
