The second season just finished airing, and fans are eagerly waiting for the season 3 announcement. The anime has many strong characters, which keeps sparking debates amongst the fans. So let’s dissect every ability of these characters and rank them. Putting an end to this ever-going debate once and for all. 15. Lamvanein Lamvanei is a typical neighbor from Aftokrator, he has two goat-like pointy horns on his head. He’s a carefree individual who likes to laugh but becomes arrogant and proud when in battle. Although being so self-centered he admits defeat and praises a strong opponent. His trion receptors allow him to use strong triggers for prolonged periods which can make or break any fight. He isn’t the type to charge straight into the enemy, he believes in waiting till the right moment. He makes the opponent believe that he is defenseless less and if they fall in his trap they get obliterated. He’s a master tactician and wins due to his strategies. 14. Hyuse Hyuse was left alone on the earth after the neighbor’s invasion, he wants to go back home, for this he agrees to join the Border. As he is a neighbor, he quickly rose through the ranks, becoming a B-rank. Although he’s helping the humans now, he still can’t hear anything ill about his fellow neighbors. From a very young age, he showed promise and his battle prowess gave him a chance to join Hairein’s away mission. He has an exceptional amount of trion which allows him to take on multiple opponents at the same time without breaking a sweat. He is extremely skilled in combat and has one of the best vision in anime. All this combined made Hyuse a force to be reckoned with. 13. Soya Kazama Kazama is the type of guy who doesn’t mess around and tries to reach the core of the matter as fast as possible. Due to this, he doesn’t like to talk too much or talk only if needed, he is a reserved person and doesn’t like to socialize that often either. Despite his anti-social personality on the battlefield he trusts his comrades more than anyone, most of his attacks are team attacks. He is an A-rank and the leader of the Kazama unit. He often likes to depend on the strategies in which a minimum amount of raw force would be required. He will most often hit and run or use stealth moves to gain the upper hand. This strategy works in combination with his comrades. In addition to this, he is also the #2 attacker and #3 solo fighter. 12. Shuji Miwa Suji is a quiet person, he doesn’t talk very often and always has a serious expression on his face. No one on the border hates neighbors more than him, this eternal hatred spawned from the fact that his beloved sister was killed due to these invaders. When he found out that Yuga was a neighbor he shot him without thinking twice. He is an all-rounder and currently the leader of the Miwa unit. As the captain of the A-rank unit, he has a lot of responsibility on his shoulders which would’ve been troublesome if he hadn’t had any good leadership skills. He is great at what he does, a combination of various attack styles, this causes his opponents to be afraid of him as he can attack from any range that he wants. 11. Kyosuke Karasuma Kyosuke is a pretty chill individual most of the ties, but when it comes to battle he becomes super-charged and focused on the fight. He is an A-rank from the Tamakoma branch. Kyosuke is an all-rounder which is rare on the Border. Due to him being an all-rounder he can attack from any range putting his opponents in trouble as they cant decide what tactic to use against him. He doesn’t let his emotions dictate the flow of the fight and manages to stay level-headed all the time. His versatile skills make him a great asset to have in any team, as he can defend and attack if need be. Kyousuke was once seen using the attack trigger in conjunction with Geist, he killed a rabbit on his own that day. 10. Kirie Konami Coming up next on the list is one of the most loved characters in the anime: Kirie Konami. She belongs to the Kizaki unit which operates under the Tamakoma Branch, her role is that of an attacker, and she’s good at it. She might come off as really arrogant and self-centered to some, but she has a pure heart and can do anything for her comrades. She’s extremely fast and some say her speed is equivalent to that of the neighbors. She’s so strong that she’s considered to be as effective as an entire unit. Earning her a spot on this list. 9. Reiji Kizaki Reiji is what you call a perfect all-rounder, he is extremely skilled and can use multiple types of triggers. Be it a snipper or a shooter, Kizaki can easily handle it. He’s the captain of the Kizaki unit which is regarded as the strongest unit on the Border. As a person he is very strict when it comes to fighting, he has been seen scolding Chika on multiple occasions due to her bad skills. But he is a very calm and composed individual, who’ll make sure your team survives every time. He is an all-rounder who leads the strongest unit on the entire Border. This alone should speak volumes about this man’s prowess. All-rounders are very rare and Reiji is one of the best all-rounders ever to exist. He even has the most points in Border, the abilities and strengths of Reiji are innumerable. Having him as in any team can decide the fate of the battle. 8. Enedra Enedra is the embodiment of evil, he is proud of himself and boasts his skills. He doesn’t shy away from comparing humans to monkeys, a total warmonger who just wants to battle. Ever since he was a child he was gifted with great skills and reflexes. He was strong enough to be assigned a black trigger, which speaks volumes about his character. Thanks to his Trion receptors, he now can use powerful moves for prolonged periods without getting tired. Hence his 8th position on this list. 7. Hairein Hairein is a neighbor from Aftokrator and also the captain of the group that invaded earth! He is a black trigger user and the head of the House Veltiston. Hairein is a very ethical man and doesn’t want anything to do with war as he’s a pacifist. As he is the head of one of the noble families that rule the superpower Aftokrator, he boats immense political power and military strength. His ability to orchestrate complex strategies that bring the enemy nations to knees is phenomenal, to say the least. 6. Kei Tachikawa Tachikawa is an arrogant person, to say the least, his careless nature causes him trouble sometimes. He becomes anxious when an opponent sows up having more power than him. Still, he somehow manages to stay on top. Kei Tachikawa is the leader of the Tachikawa unit. He is the no. 1 attacker on the entire border and is also considered as the best agent currently due to his overall performance. He was an antagonist in the starting due to his behavior but now he serves the role of a supporting character. Kei is an A-rank hero but he always manages to punch above his weight, he is known to kill eleven rabbits on his own! He’s a solo combatant and arguably is the best fighter on the Border. 5. Viza Viza comes off as the elderly guide for the Aftokrators, he seems gentle even with his enemies and doesn’t like to see children suffer. But his action says otherwise, he has a darker side to him some might say. Viza is yet another strong black trigger user, replica was shocked when he heard that Viza was sent to the earth on an away mission because Viza’s strength wasn’t required here, he is far more capable than this invasion. Masafumi Shinoda Masafumi is the general manager and commander of the self-defense unit. He is undoubtedly the strongest person in HQ who has a normal trigger. He is a caring person who doesn’t want innocent people suffering due to neighbors, but he doesn’t hate neighbors either, he just wants to save his people. Apart from being caring, he is extremely strong, so strong actually that he was able to gain upper hand in a fight against a black trigger user like Enedra who is the polar opposite of Masafumi. Apart from this, he is regarded as the strongest man on the Border and he also is ridiculously fast, destroying many of Enedra’s dummies before he can even produce more! 3. Yuma Kuga Yuma is one of the 4 main characters of the anime World Trigger, he’s a fan favorite and really strong too. Despite his human-like appearance, he is a neighbor and currently a B-rank attacker for the Tamakoma Second. After going through vigorous training for 6 straight years with his father, Yuma managed to become an extremely skilled fighter, his moves and presence of mind on the battlefield are highly developed. After the death of his father, Yuma still fought alongside Calvaria for another 3 years, so he has a ton of experience under his belt. As these skills and years of experience weren’t enough to make Yuga powerful, he also receives a black trigger from Yugo, increasing his battle prowess exponentially! And when he is being assisted by replica he becomes one of the strongest characters in the entire series. 2. Yuichi Jin Yuichi Jin was formerly an S-rank but currently is an A-rank in the Tamakoma branch. His being formerly an S-rank might easily sum up how powerful he is. Despite his pale look and messy hair, this dude is one of the most powerful in the anime. He is an S-rank agent and probably one of the strongest S-ranks on the entire Border. He is a ridiculously powerful black trigger user, he can obliterate entire cities if he wishes to. His trigger is regarded as the power type which entirely relies on his brute force giving him beastly powers. He once almost destroyed a city when he managed to single-handedly kill 3 rabbits and trion warriors in that area which according to him was as easy as killing a fly.
