POWER - Chainsaw Man Wiki
Power’s name originated from Powers, who’s an angel from the Middle-order of Christian Angelic Hierarchy. She’s a part of Public Safety Devil Hunters under Makima’s squad.
Power appeared in (Chapter 4) when Makima was letting Denji know that she’s going to work with him. Power asked Denji to crawl before her while introducing herself. Denji got excited to work with a girl, finally!

Our MC never really had a stable job nor was he ever treated like a human, therefore he was excited to live a “normal life”. Everything was so normal for him even though they were going to hunt the devils.

Appearance
Power has strawberry-colored hair that reaches her mid-back. She’s a young demonic woman with two light red horns extruding from the top of her head. Power has yellow eyes that form a crosspatch, she also has defined, and sharp fangs! (Chapter 4).
She often wears a dress shirt, tie, and slacks as required by the Public Safety Demon Hunters. Despite being a demon, she wears padded breast pads to increase her bust (Chapter 12). And is always wearing a loose jacket that’s hanging halfway off her body which gives an unclean and casual appearance (Chapter 56).
During Operation: Super Smart, she wore a pair of glasses with her hair tied back tightly in a ponytail (Chapter 31). When she drinks too much blood the size of her horns increases and they become curved giving a “devilish look“. Power can also extrude additional pairs of horns from her head! (Chapter 39).
Meanwhile, her devilish form is very intimidating. She becomes a tall humanoid with four arms. Her head shape becomes pointed with dark colors and pointed teeth. Power’s ears become very long in this form along with long hair. In contrast to her human appearance, her rib cage is exposed along with her intestines. She has three fingers with giant claws! Her legs, especially mid-thigh, are dark-toned which ends in heel-like feet.

Personality
Just like a true demon, Power is exploitative, immature, and self-indulgent. She fights like she’s going to get something out of victory which explains her greed. Power simply walks away from the situations where she’s outmatched and stands no chance against the opponent (Chapter 24). For instance, when she ran away from Gun Friend while Aki Hayakawa was fighting with him. She has a serious Superiority Complex and just can’t stand “not boasting” about herself in front of her fellow devil hunters. Power may look like a human but she has no loyalty to humanity and admits that she will surely choose the winning side. Either it’s humans or devils. She doesn’t care whether she remains a human or a devil. (Chapter 29).
Power is very rude and untidy, she openly admits that she doesn’t bathe that often nor flushes the toilet. In contrast to humans, she finds humans “Hygiene obsessive”. (Chapter 11).
When Makima scolded her for killing a devil when she wasn’t supposed to, she lied. Therefore, she’s a habitual liar and she blamed it all on Denji. And power also claimed that Denji killed the devil. (Chapter 5). And she’s a huge backbiter, she finds no problem in gossiping about her friends behind their backs. Power exposed Aki’s shortened lifespan with the Angel Devil. (Chapter 45).
Just like a true bad girl, she hates vegetables and loves meat. She finds no difference between any kinds of meat. Being a meat lover, she would eat any kind of meat even if it’s zombie flesh. So, that clearly shows her careless side. And if by chance, she finds any vegetables in her food, she throws them away from her plate. (Chapter 11). Power’s definitely a glutton, who’s munching all the stored food for the fellow devil hunters. For instance, she hoarded all the food for herself during Division 4‘s newbie welcoming party! (Chapter 17). That’s pretty much about her glutton-ish side.
Power is very cruel, she was once asked by Aki about her one and only wish. She answered that she’d like to suck on a human’s blood until they die. Even if she’s very selfish yet we get to see her compassion for her pet, Meowy.
Strengths and Skills
Immense Speed
Power with her strength is a quick fighter. She was able to attack Denji when they were turning on each other. Due to her quick reflexes, she was able to run away from the Katana Man too.
Enhanced Smell
From a large distance, Power was able to smell Denji at a coffee shop. It’s evident that her sense of smell is very strong too. Her keen sense of smell was also able to smell the Cucumber Devil.
Supernatural Abilities
Blood Manipulation
Power can easily manipulate blood however she wants. For instance, when she was fighting Bat Devil, she was able to manipulate her blood into a hammer.
She can create a blood spear out of her blood as well, she uses it to attack her opponents.
Thousand Tera Blood Rain
When she’s in her full devil form and potent, she can generate thousands of blood spears from blood. Power can levitate them however she wants and then eventually attack her opponents.
Blood Transfer
She can transfer her blood into someone else’s body by creating a connection with them. Just like Pochita’s ability to absorb into Denji’s body.
Blood Consumption
Even after her death, she can regenerate the parts of her body by consuming blood. When Denji got in trouble with Makima, Power absorbed herself into the body of Denji and eventually had authority over his body.
Power Enhancement
Being a devil, she gets power from evil. Especially by consuming blood and when she drinks a lot of blood, she’s able to transform into her intimidating form that is of a giant four arms humanoid. After consuming a little bit of blood, she’s able to stand against Makima! Her speed, durability, and blood manipulation increases when she consumes blood. Basically, it enhances her powers!
Contract Creation
She’s capable of creating so many contracts with humans. Though right now, she has only one contract with Denji, which is about staying with him through thick and thin.
Revival
Power can be revived even after her death but that’ll cause her to lose all of her memories.
One of her skill sets contains Acting Skills, she was able to make Makima believe that Denji betrayed her. She also made Makima believe that she died.

Past/History
Intro Arc
Before encountering her lovable pet, Meowy she walked all exposed and filthy in the Countryside. She has always been a hunter and has also killed a wild bear. She fed him the cat to fatten the bear up. Power also slaughtered a cow to gather milk for him.
And as time passed, she became used to having Meowy around her. Even she was very surprised by the fact that she isn’t killing the cat and is hanging around with him. There were times when she felt like eating the cat but she controlled herself and developed a strong bond with her. Just like when she was ready to sacrifice Denji’s life for Meowy’s sake.
And one day, an injured Bat Devil appeared who kidnapped Meowy and ordered Power to get a human for him so he could feed on him and give Meowy back in exchange. (Chapter 7). That’s when Makima made Power a part of the Devil Hunters Team before Power could actually find a human for the injured Bat Devil. (Chapter 5).
Power appears when Denji was being told by Makima that she would assign him different tasks with someone to patrol together. She showed up before Denji and asked him to crawl before her while introducing herself. Denji, after witnessing that he’s surrounded by such a hot lady, got excited to work. As Denji could not get to experience what normal humans do, therefore, this all was very new for him. In fact, he couldn’t even afford a single slice of bread with a Jam at the top for himself.
Bad Devil Arc
(Chapter 6)Denji and Power go examine the rooftops while Power becomes very disinterested and asks Denji for his blood. That’s the moment when Denji thought to himself how he would manage to caress her breast. (Chapter 5) Our MC is surely a naughty guy but then again, he never got to experience the normal joys of life.
Denji also becomes very disinterested in this mission as no devil was appearing before him, while Power was boasting about how intimidating she is and that all devils ran away after feeling her existence. She also told him about her being a fearsome devil.
All of a Sudden, Power smells blood and runs across the rooftop having the intentions of battling against the devil. She hits the Sea Cucumber Devil with a Hammer that is made up of her own blood protruding from her wrist. The devil had trapped a civilian in a nearby phone booth. It caused an explosion of blood which was soaked by her body and she welcomed her glory while laughing like a maniac.
After receiving one glory, they go back to patrolling and that’s when Power talks about her pet, Meowy. She says that she likes cats only and doesn’t get along very well with humans due to her devilish instincts. Power also confesses that her pet was caught by one of the devils and that she would do anything to claim her pet back.
Since Denji is a huge LADY LOVER, he claims
that he’ll help her get Meowy back if she lets him touch her breast. Both of them agree to such a hilarious deal, and Denji claims enthusiastically that he’ll save Meowy for sure now and kill the devil.
Now their mission of saving Meowy begins, they take permission to go out and then take the tram. Power tells Denji that the devil’s going to keep Meowy as a hostage and that only he’s capable of killing him. Denji skeptically observes her breast and decides to go for it. However, he tries to sympathize with Power by talking about the death of Pochita and how he’s still alive in his heart. While Power thinks that Pochita is dead which annoys Denji a lot.
Power brings him to the house where the Bat Devil lives. She never intended to let him touch her anywhere. Her intentions were truly evil! She confesses that she had to bring a human here so that she would get her Meowy back! Both of them start fighting and Power eventually knocks Denji out. As he drops down on the floor, Power says that humans are foolish, indeed.
When Bat Devil appears and gives Meowy back as promised, he tastes Denji’s Blood and finds it very unpleasant. Suddenly, there’s a playback going inside Power’s head and she empathizes with Denji losing Pochita. And At that moment, the Bat Devil swallows her whole since Denji’s blood was pretty disgusting. While Denji was clinging to her before getting swallowed and asking her about the deal they both made. (Chapter 7).
Denji kills the Bat Devil like a true Hero and saves Power and Meowy by getting them out of his stomach. Power lets him know that his motives are filthy but since he saved Meowy, she lets him caress his breast. And while he’s enjoying that, the Leech Devil appears who eats Denji’s arm. He is weakened due to the previous battle as is, yet asks Power if she could save him. Power herself was in trouble with the Leech Devil along with Meowy. That’s when Denji leaps into the battle. (Chapter 9).
Power watches Denji go super far just to touch her breast. She confesses that his bloodthirsty way of fighting makes him look totally like a demon!
Just when Denji is about to be eaten by the Leech Devil, Aki Hayakawa appears on the scene and saves him using the Fox Devil. He’s curious about both of them indulging in a fight without letting anyone know.
However, he still takes Meowy to the hospital for a check-up. Our Simp Denji covered the whole story for Power and her unclean intentions of using him as a host for saving Meowy.
A few moments later, Denji finds out about Himeno who looks up after the handcuffed power. Aki releases her and tells them that she’s just a tool they use against the devils. Power proves to them that she’s a nightmare to live with who doesn’t bathe properly, and doesn’t flush after using the toilet. When Denji’s cleaning the toilet, he asks her to let him touch her breast to fulfill her promise. (Chapter 11).
That’s when Power lets him feel them for only three squeezes. One for saving Meowy, Second for Killing the Bat Devil, and third for covering everything up in front of Aki. After squeezing them, Denji’s a bit disappointed which leaves Power embarrassed.
Power is recruited as a six-man team to enter the Morino Hotel, to follow the devil who has eaten a piece of the Gun Devil.
Eternity Devil Arc
Power being a part of the squad goes with Denji, Aki, Himeno, Kobeni, and Arai. Both Denji and Power were not really serious about the job and were asking for a piece of the Gunman since it seems very cool. Both of them were warned to take the mission seriously.
As the whole squad goes inside, the Avatar of Eternity Devil appears, Power instantly went to kill it while Himeno using her Ghost Devil powers, kept it in its place. Meanwhile, the deluded Power thought that she feared the devil so much that it’s unable to move. Himeno mentions how knowing one’s abilities could help them during combat. That’s when Power holds Kobeni with a blood knife in her hand, Himeno strangles her with the Ghost Devil’s hands. Himeno is quite strong so she says that she’s capable of killing her if she continues to act up. That’s how Power decides to behave. (Chapter 14).
The group gets trapped on the 8th floor by the Eternity Devil. While Denji is fast asleep, Koebeni finds it strange for Power to talk about winning the Nobel Prize so she could become a prime minister. (Chapter 16)
Eternity Devil appears and asks for a contract and that he will let everyone go if they handed him Denji. She’s willing to accept it while others are thinking hard upon such an absurd contract. Power decides to talk to him but he rejects her instantly. (Chapter 17)
Kobeni and Arai accuse them of conspiring everything against the whole squad. Kobeni accidentally stabs Aki and helps stop the bleeding. She notices that it’s hard to stop others’ bleeding.
In the meanwhile, Denji involves himself with the Eternity Devil. She comments that he might run out of blood before even laying his finger on him. But when Denji finds out about his own blood consumption ability, she has to wait for three days to pare down the Eternity Devil. After which, everyone leaves the hotel, including power.
Control Devil And Katana Man Arc
A few moments later, Denji’s consciousness had been transferred to Power. Pochita asks her to save Denji from Makima. And asks her to be careful if she’s a blood devil since they disappear real soon. The Devil offers itself as a sacrifice, for Power to eat so she could save her buddy, Denji.
After a while, Power is revived, emerging from Denji’s body. She changes into her demon look. Makima is super confused about the situation and subdues her with the army of zombies. Power gets enough strength thanks to Pochita. Even though Power had been already killed, Makima continues to shoot her realizing that there’s no way she’s dying again. She can’t escape either.
Makima offers to give her Denji back unless Power becomes her pet again. Power happily proceeded to her command and saved Denji. Basically, Power thought that she could defeat Makima so she decided to rebel against her but after actually trying it she stood no chance against her. Even though so many weird thoughts came to her according to her own ideology that life is very unimportant. However, she remembers her strong bond with Denji.
After running from Makima and her puppets, Denji and Power continue living a normal life. Seeing Denji all well, she decides to hug him tightly while Danji was being dramatic that it was okay for him to die since he always wanted to die in the arms of a girl and that he had done everything in his life.
Power tells him that he’s a wimp and a crybaby. She offers him her blood so that he could get a bit healthy. She tells him that even if a devil disappears it’ll end up reincarnating and that she’ll eventually forget all of her memories. And the next time they meet, they’ll be confronted as enemies. The final request of Power is to turn the blood devil back to the old Power so that they could be friends again. When Denji wakes up again, her body becomes a part of his body, he mourns for her then.
Katana Man Arc
Although Katana Man Arc and Gun Devil Arc are to be updated soon, yet we have the Bomb Girl Arc. While Denji is waiting for Reze with Flowers, Power could smell his scent through the coffee shop and makes a reappearance. That’s how she meets Denji and inquires about the flowers. Then, Denji eats the flowers instead of giving them to her. (Chapter 52)

Meowy
Despite being cruel and careless at times, she’s very warm towards her one and only pet, Meowy. When Meowy was alive, she fed her lots of good and healthy stuff without caring about her own appetite. It clearly shows that Power was so lovable towards her pet (Chapter 7).
She was even ready to sacrifice Denji to save her pet from the Bat Devil. However, when she thought that Meowy died, she was ready to be eaten by the Bat devil too. Her love for Meowy is evident from the sacrifices she was ready to make.
Denji
Power and Denji have a rugged relationship. Even when Power was going to sacrifice Denji to save her pet, he saved her along with her pet from the devil. And from that moment, they start to live at the house of Aki Hayakawa. The three of them develop an admirable relationship with one another. However, there are times when the three of them are annoyed. But, they can’t help it. As a team, they have to live together and work together as well.
Power and Denji often cause many hindrances for Aki Hayakawa. And eventually, their bittersweet relationship becomes bitter and better. She is even putting her life on the line to save him at any event. She also considers him his one and only friend. Therefore, she values him as well.
Aki Hayakawa
Since Denji and Power are living off Aki Hayakawa, the three of them get along very well after joining Public Safety. Even if Aki gets annoyed by Power, she values him like a true friend. Power is often saved by Aki when she’s in trouble. So, they have the relationship of a little sister and brother. Power is probably the little bratty sister and Aki is a mature, responsible elder brother. Therefore, she often causes trouble for Aki Hayakawa.
