It was announced on the Live-Stream “Konosuba Channel From Isekai Medium” that a new season for Konosuba is under works. The fans are told to be patient as they will provide further information later. The official Twitter Account of Konosuba also uploaded a tweet with a brand new visual for the new season of the anime.

Story
The story revolves around a high school student and a Neet who gets transported into a fantasy world after getting hit by a truck. He was on his way back home after buying a game when he met that unfortunate accident. When Kazuma wakes up, he finds himself sitting in front of a beautiful goddess who called herself “Aqua”.
Aqua gives Kazuma two choices: To continue to heaven or to be reincarnated in a fantasy world. Kazuma chooses the latter and wakes up in a brand new world with weird creatures. Kazuma is given the task of defeating a Demon King as soon as he lands in the new world. He can get aid from whoever he wants and he chooses Aqua to aid him, thinking she’s a goddess and must be very powerful. However, to his surprise, Aqua is completely useless and is just all show.
This is just the start of their misfortunes as they struggle to meet their everyday expenses by completing their everyday tasks. They meet two other girls who are joining their party and are also not much of a help as they’re all just screwed in the head.
Background
The web novel for Konosuba was written by Natsume Akatsuki and was published between December 2012 and October 2013. A light novel version was released from October 2013 to May 2020 with illustrations by Kurone Mishima.
The light Novel was adapted into the manga in October 2014. As of May 2021, 13 tankobon volumes have been released.
Studio Deen released the anime adaptation that aired between January 2016 to March 2016. A total of 20 episodes were released for the anime.
