It was announced in the live-stream of “Fullmetal Alchemist 20th Anniversary special” on Monday, July 12, that Hiromu Arakawa’s Fullmetal Alchemist is getting a new mobile game. It will be presented by Square Enix and more details will be revealed in winter 2021.

Fullmetal Alchemist Anniversary Special
Fullmetal Alchemist’s Manga anniversary was on Monday and the August Issue of Square Enix’s Monthly Shonen Gangan Magazine highlighted the remembrance of the anniversary. It was also announced that the art exhibition for the Franchise will be rerun in Tokyo and Osaka. Other highlights included the preparation of a book for the franchise.

Background
Fullmetal Alchemist Manga was published in Square Enix’s Monthly Shonen Gangan Magazine in 2001. It was written and illustrated by Hiromu Arakawa. The original manga was published from July 12, 2001 to June 11, 2010. The chapters were collected into 27 tankobon volumes. This manga is considered one of the best manga as it has sold over 80 million volumes worldwide.
Fullmetal alchemist manga got its two animated series. One of the series was not quite original and was loosely adapted named “Fullmetal Alchemist”. It was broadcasted between 2003-2004. Another anime series was released in 2009 that adapted the original manga story. It was broadcasted between 2009-2010 and was titled “Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood”.
