Soooo, we’ll be talking about INTJ anime characters in this blog. In case you don’t know what an INTJ is, I’ll tell you a bit about it. INTJ is an MBTI or a personality type. And I kinda have this belief that most people who are INTJs are geniuses. They don’t possess any significant physical prowess, however, their mental capability is on another level. 

They are able to solve any mystery and puzzle with relative ease. If we’re talking about the action genre, the INTJ characters are significant as they formulate the war tactics and stuff, like Lelouch from Code Geass. 

Ever wondered what the full term of INTJ is? Well! It is abbreviated as “Introverted, Intuition, Thinking, Judging.” I bet you won’t see many people with this persona in real life.

Trafalgar Law from our favorite One Piece is the first INTJ character featured in this list. If you’re a fan of OP, then you probably know what type of guy Law is.

 

Normally, he is a very calm and collected individual. He is the type of guy who analyzes the situation and then formulates a plan. Well! Most of his plans go to waste because of Luffy lol!

His devil fruit ability is also pretty OP, making him one of the strongest One Piece characters. 

 

Law doesn’t like being around people and has always preferred being alone. We rarely see him smile. He also has a traumatic childhood.

We can only see his true emotions when he’s around Toko Agatsumi. At other times, he keeps them hidden. His observation skills are really elite. He’s pretty straightforward as well.

Yako is the first female character to feature on this list. Unlike other characters on this list, Yako is definitely not a cool and calm person. Well! She’s a God, so I guess it makes sense. Even though she takes on the form of a human to disguise herself, she looks down upon human-kind and other species. 

Why is she an INTJ? Well! Being cool and calm doesn’t necessarily make you an INTJ. It’s all about your intuition and thinking. Yako is the type of person who thinks before taking any action. She is not afraid to take risks as well. She is quite intelligent as well. With these things in mind, you could say that she is an INTJ.

Another surprising addition to this list is Silver Fang. He is one of the S Rank Heroes. Being an S Class hero, he possesses exceptional physical and mental attributes.

Unlike other heroes, he remains cool and calm during tough times. He analyzes the situation first and then takes any action. He is a great observer of other people. He is one of few humans who know about Saitama’s true power. He also tried to manipulate Saitama to become his disciple, but failed, cuz Saitama is an idiot, lol!

Learning martial arts requires great discipline and patience, and Silver Fang is undoubtedly an expert martial artist. 

38-Homura Akemi (Puella Magi Madoka Magica)

Homura Akemi from Madoka Magica is the next INTJ to feature on this list. Homura had a traumatic past as she was bullied due to her quiet nature and frail body. She was also suffering from a heart condition which made her body frail.

All this bullying and teasing made her emotionally unstable, hence eventually, she became emotionless. She can be called an introvert to a certain extent. 

Despite all this, she is an intelligent girl who tries to do her best. Her quiet nature makes her an INTJ.

 The next character to feature on this list is Hendrikson from Seven Deadly Sins. He is the main antagonist of the first season. Even though he lost in the end (as he is the VILLAIN LOL), we saw some great examples of long-term planning and perfect execution. 

As the former Great Holy Knight, his ability to recognize the strengths and weaknesses of other people is unparalleled. His long-term plan had absolutely no flaws. He was even winning in the end. Of course, he used some cheap tricks to get his goal.

Piccolo is the next character on this list. Surprised? Well! You shouldn’t be. Piccolo is one of few DBZ characters who actually uses his brain. He usually stays cool and calm.

Unlike Goku or Vegeta, Piccolo first observes his opponents and tries to formulate a strategy. His observation skills are quite exceptional. He observes his surroundings for any strange event and then proceeds. He is not the one to underestimate his opponents. 

As he trained Gohan, you can see some of his characteristics in him as well.

35-Neji Hyuga (Naruto)

You shouldn’t be surprised to see Neji on this list. Well! Most fights in Naruto are strategy-based except the ones involving Naruto, lol!

Neji is a keen observer of his surroundings. He even learned most of the tricks of his clan by observation and then applied his own methods to them. Neji is a strong believer of destiny. He believes that everything is already set in stone, and that you have to be chosen to achieve something big. 

These thoughts kinda limit his potential. From what we have seen, Neji would have been able to achieve greater things if not for his mentality. This also proves that he is sure of his abilities. He is not a big dreamer like Naruto. He sees things rationally.

34-Kurapika (Hunter x Hunter)

With the return of Hunter X Hunter manga, we’ll see Kurapika as the protagonist. Well! Most characters in Hunter x Hunter are pretty intelligent. However, no one comes near Kurapika with his intuition and interrogative skills. 

He is the type of guy who won’t trust you easily. Gon is the exact opposite, lol! He will ask you a lot of questions to get rid of any suspicions. And he is strong as HELL! The way he planned his revenge and executed the plan is remarkable. You won’t see many revenge stories like his. 

He is also a very stubborn person. If he commits to doing something, he won’t turn back EVER! There is no way you can challenge his commitment.

Kai Chisaki AKA Overhaul is one of the most powerful quirk users in MHA. Despite this, he wants to eliminate quirks from the world, so that the mafia can regain its lost glory. Being a mafia leader, Chisaki has amazing leading capabilities. His ability to recognize the worth and use of people is exceptional.

He utilizes people to his will like pawns and then throws them out. He can do anything to achieve his dream and goal. He is not stubborn like other mafia leaders. He can adapt to changes around him and execute his plans accordingly.

 

32-Motoko Kusanagi (Ghost in the Shell)

Motoko Kusanagi is a really popular character from Ghost in the Shell. Kusanagi is the perfect example of an INTJ character. She is one of those characters you shouldn’t bother fighting. If I had to say, she is a born fighter and a leader.  

Her dedication to her work and implementing justice is exemplary. She is the type of character who doesn’t get scared by difficult situations. She analyzes the circumstances and then acts accordingly.

In short, Kusanagi is a smart, confident, and proficient lady. She is not like other characters from her series, which makes her stand out a lot. No wonder she is this popular.

The next character on this INTJ list is Shoto Todoroki. Todoroki is a really popular character. Peeps just love him because of his goofy and serious nature.

Shoto might seem like a weak and goofy person. However, in reality it’s the exact opposite. He is a really powerful quirk user who can obliterate his enemies easily. But, being a hero isn’t necessarily about being strong. It’s about how you use your quirk. And Shoto is an expert at that. 

He excels at reading the situation and making moves accordingly. It is really difficult to trap or manipulate him. And of course, as an introvert, you can’t really understand what he’s thinking.

“Teresa of the Faint Smile” is the nickname of this character from Claymore. Teresa is the strongest character in the entire series. Why? Well! Her range of combat skills is exceptional. She is a master of multiple styles. 

How is she an INTJ? As her nickname suggests, she is a calm and cool character who fears nothing. She is an extremely courageous character. She is always ready to sacrifice herself. 

She just mercilessly destroys her enemies with a smile on her face. She feels no grief for the ones she’s killed. Her impassive and calm nature makes her an INTJ.

The TALL Kei Tsukishima is definitely and canonically an INTJ character. Haikyuu!! fans just love him. Even though he is a bit arrogant and cocky. I guess that makes him even more popular.

In the beginning, Kei was not a huge fan of volleyball. He only played it because he was tall. Still, he was really good at it. Why? Because of his manipulative and judgmental abilities. His ability to read and analyze the game is exceptional.

He really shines during the tough times. He is like the shadow captain of the team. He quickly grasps the situation and formulates a strategy. You won’t see many players like him.

Merlin is a calm individual who thinks before taking any action. She does not panic even when there’s an emergency. She analyzes the situation, then takes any action.

Why is she an INTJ? Well! Her hunger for knowledge, decisive abilities, and the intuition to foresee the results of anything make her an INTJ character. Most characters in Seven Deadly Sins are not like this. Soo, she’s a surprise addition to this list

AHHH! You can’t make a list of INTJ characters without including Levi Ackerman. Levi is one of the most popular anime characters of all time. He is considered the most powerful human being in the entire series.

Even among Ackermans, Levi is just built differently. The way he analyzes the situation and executes his plans is exceptional. In the presence of Erwin, he just follows his orders. However, in his absence, he takes charge and guides his underlings. Even though he is not that social, the people under him still love and respect him. 

Levi’s most amazing attribute is his ability to use his 3D Gear. The way he utilizes it in tough situations is just too OP. You can’t just randomly swing around titans.

25-Ryunosuke Akutagawa (Bungou Stray Dogs)

Next INTJ character on our list is Ryunosuke Akutagawa from Bungou Stray Dogs. This anime is pretty underrated in my opinion. It has some of the best-written characters.

Akutagawa is a member of the antagonist organization Port Mafia. He is one of their executives. Even though he has a broken ability, still you see moments when he becomes powerless. At those times, his cunning nature truly shines. He somehow manages to overpower his opponents by breaking their spirit.

His motto is to achieve anything by any means possible. It doesn’t matter if they are underhanded. Dazai is his ideal. He’ll do anything just to gain his praise. He is also known as the Port Mafia Dog. Kinda justifies his nature.

 

24-Teru Mikami (Death Note)

Teru Mikami from Death Note is the next INTJ on this list. In case you don’t know, Teru was the person Light chose to be his disguise. 

Why did he choose him? Well! Light is not the kind to trust others easily. He entrusted Teru with his secret because he believed that he could handle the pressure. Teru is the type of guy who likes to keep a time table. He is a perfectionist. 

His dedication to Kira is something remarkable as well. He is literally emotionless. You won’t see him expressing any emotions whatsoever. He is a true example of the INTJ persona.

Another surprise addition to this list is Giorno Giovanna. Giorno is the protagonist of the Part 5 of Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure. Most Jojo characters are pretty cool!

Being the protagonist, Giorno has a very broken ability. He is a very righteous person, he just can’t see evil. Even though he is the son of Dio Brando. He is totally different from his father.

Well! Even if he works for a mafia, his intentions are pretty righteous. He wants to get rid of the drug system that is ruining the society. He is also a very smooth talker. Besides all this, he is a great observer. He keenly observes his surroundings. He doesn’t get anxious during difficult times but tries to find a solution instead.

All of these qualities suggest that he is an INTJ.

Next character on this list is Akaashi Keiji. He is the captain of the prestigious Fukurodani Academy. He is also the setter of his team. As we all know, setters are usually very competent and intelligent, just like Kageyama. 

Being the captain and setter, Akaashi is the keystone of his team. He is the only person who can control Bokuto as he is difficult to deal with. His decision making is always on point. He is the best example of “Best player is not always the best leader.” 

He is perfect to lead this team. He remains calm during tense times and tries to calm his teammates. You won’t see him getting angry at other players during the game. Ofc he is strict with them during practice.

Next INTJ character who is often thought to be an ISTJ is Re L-Mayer from Ergo Proxy.

Mayer is an assassin. Like most assassins, she is merciless. She has no emotions whatsoever. She was trained to be like this you might think that she is being controlled, however, she is an independent thinker who is capable of making decisions for herself.

She is a curious individual who analyzes her surroundings and then takes action. Being an assassin, she leads a disciplined life and remains cool most of the time.

Lust from Fullmetal Alchemist is the next character on this list. Being an antagonist, Lust is very proud and arrogant. She believes that she can achieve everything using her beauty.  

Why is she called Lust? Well! It is the name of her Sin, and it  kinda justifies her attitude. The sin of Lust is for those who believe that they can achieve anything by the means of their body. They want everything in the world they think is beautiful. 

Even though she was killed quite early in the series, her character still played a major role. Lust never believed in hard work or team work. She tried to do everything by herself, which makes her a perfect INTJ.

Well! I’d rather not spoil y’all. So, let’s keep the spoilers at a minimum. Kiriya is a born leader. She has the capability to gather and guide hundreds of demon slayers at a time. She is an amazing analyzer of any situation. She then devises a plan according to the circumstances.

Now, the main thing here is to execute the plan, and Kiriya is an expert at that. Her cool and calm nature allows her to put the plan in motion perfectly. I am 100 percent sure she is an INTJ.

Kokushibo is one of the antagonists from Demon Slayer. You’ll see him in the anime soon enough. SPOILER ALERT!!! Kokushibo was once a human who used the breathing of the moon. However, his thirst for power led him to become a demon.

He was the first demon slayer to become a demon. Let’s just talk about his persona. Being the strongest Upper Moon, he isn’t afraid of anything. He remains cool and calm throughout battles cuz he knows no one can defeat him. 

He is loyal to his master, Muzan. Despite being this strong, he likes to devise plans and act upon them. He has a delicate tone as well, which is also a contributing factor to his INTJ persona.

17-Shinobu Kocho (Demon Slayer)

Finally a character from Demon Slayer we have actually seen in the anime. Shinobu Kocho is the insect hashira. She is one of the youngest hashira as well. She has achieved some crazy feats at a very young age. 

She might seem a bit too social to be an INTJ. Now, this is where you are wrong fellas. Shinobu is the type of person who hides her true feelings. She is not expressive at all. You will never know what she is thinking.

Even though she looks like a sweet girl who wouldn’t hurt you, she is a merciless killer. She has absolutely no mercy for demons. Why? Well! She has some history with these demons. 

16-Makise Kurisu (Steins;Gate)

Makise Kurisu from Steins;Gate is the next character on this list. She is one of the most popular characters out there even though she is a NERD!!. Despite being a teenager, Makise is a GENIUS!!! Her ability to deduce something from the little knowledge she has is remarkable. 

She was able to create a whole time machine from an Oven, lol! According to Okabe Rintarou, she is a Tsundere. Makise is an excellent speaker as well. Her ability to share her ideas and viewpoints is exceptional. Even a total NOOB can comprehend what she is saying. Amazing, right?

What’s more? She is pretty funny as well. Being humorous is also in the nature of most INTJ’s.

15-Suguru Geto (Jujutsu Kaisen)

Suguru Geto is the next character to feature on this INTJ list. Suguru is the primary antagonist in Jujutsu Kaisen. Well! If I want, I can spoil everything for you, but I am a good guy, so I won’t.

Geto is a very calm and collected individual. He has a manipulative persona. He even manipulated the evil spirits for his cause. He is a great analyzer of the circumstances and plans accordingly. His plans are usually flawless, unless Gojo Saturo is involved, lol!

I can’t really say that he is an introvert, still others features of his persona suggest that he is an INTJ. Sometimes, it becomes really difficult to guess if a character is INTJ or not cuz there are so many things we have to consider. 

14-Yuno Grinberryall (Black Clover)

Ever since he was young, Yuno has been a calm and collected individual who hates meeting new people. He is a hard worker and just wants to achieve his goal- to become the WIZARD KING!! To him, his promise to Asta comes before anything else. 

Yuno is not reckless during fights. He devises a plan and then acts upon it. He is not expressive at all. You can’t guess what he is thinking. He tends to hide his real emotions.

Apollo is a very cool and calm individual. He respects Zeus a lot as he’s always been by his side. He just can’t betray him. Even if you torture him, he won’t say a single word. Impressive, right? 

He tries to calm things down by talking. It’s not that he cannot fight, he just tries to avoid any useless activity.

How is he an INTJ? Well! If you take a look at Kakashi’s persona, you’ll definitely see some clear hints. Kakashi is a really confident character. He knows what he is doing. He is not afraid to throw hands with anybody, because he is confident in his abilities.

Even though he is a teacher, his character is a mystery to everyone. He is not too expressive about his feelings. He tries to keep everything to himself. You won’t see him complaining about puny things. 

You can also see it in his fights. He tries to formulate a strategy and follow it. He tries to look for his enemies weakness and exploit it.

How can we forget our favorite Sasuke Uchiha? Sasuke is one of the most popular characters out there. Some peeps even prefer him over Naruto, cuz he’s kinda aloof and cool. 

As a child, Sasuke was really popular among the ladies. However, he decided to focus on his goal, which was taking revenge and killing Itachi. He tried to become strong by the conventional methods, but it was proving to be difficult. So, he took a different path, a path full of blood and pain.

Sasuke is a cold character who doesn’t care about people’s lives. If anything comes between him and his goal, he will destroy it. He is not too expressive about his feelings which led to a lot of difficulties.

Her devotion towards Zeke is something remarkable. She believes that Zeke is the only one who can bring true peace to this world. And guess what? Her humor is also pretty great, making her a perfect INTJ candidate.

He treats his life as a game of chess with pawns and stuff. His ability to devise plans beforehand and implement them at the right time is too OP.

There are times when he had more than 3 plans ready at a time during an all-out war. If we consider his Geass ability as well, then he is one of the strongest characters. The fact that he was able to lead a whole army during his teenage years is just remarkable.

Bakuman has some of the most intelligent characters. In this anime, carefully choosing your cards and moves is most important. And Shun Kazami can be considered a genius in this. 

He is a really popular character as fans just love him. He is one of those Bakuman characters who actually use their mind. Other characters just randomly select their cards, however, Shun is not like that. 

In order to defeat him, you have to do your homework on him. Otherwise, he will just destroy you.

Thors Karlsefni is the father of Thorfinn from the Vinland Saga. Thors is the strongest character in the series. He was once the leader of the Vikings. Despite all this, he left everything. For what? To achieve something bigger. He believed that what makes you a true warrior is not your strength, it is what you believe. 

I really love his quote, “You have no enemies in this world.” I mean, it makes a whole lotta sense. You can’t just keep killing humans and hope to achieve true peace. His ideology is what we should all adopt. And his dedication towards his goal is truly remarkable.

06-Sosuke Aizen (Bleach)

This character needs no introduction, right? Sosuke Aizen is one of the most popular characters out there. He is basically a GOD. He is immortal in his series. 

Sosuke Aizen is the mastermind behind everything that happens in Bleach. He basically planned everything. Ichigo’s power-ups were also planned by him. His abilities are also pretty broken. 

He was formerly a member of the soul society. However, he betrayed them to get more power. Though, he was ultimately defeated by Ichigo cuz of the stupid MC plot armour. Otherwise, there was literally no way to defeat him. 

He is a collected individual who analyzes the situation first and then makes his move. It is literally impossible to outsmart him. He is a perfect INTJ.

I guess this character needs no introduction, right? I mean, Light Yagami is one of the most popular anime characters out there. Well! He is the protagonist of Death Note, however, some peeps prefer to call him the VILLAIN!!!

I think it makes sense that Light is on this list. If you have watched Death Note, then you probably know about his mental capabilities and intuition. The way he manages every threat is just too awesome. He was even able to befool a genius like L with his skills. 

Most peeps would have thrown away the notebook after discovering its use. However, Light quickly managed to find a use for it and implemented it. The fact that he even discovered its use is remarkable in itself. You can’t make a list of INTJ characters without Light.

04-Hotaro Oreki (Hyouka)

Hotaro Oreki is the protagonist of Hyouka. As you all know, Hyouka is a mystery anime. It revolves around school puzzles and suspense. 

Being the MC, Hotaro is a really intellectual guy. However, he is not the type of character to boast about his skills. He likes being alone, away from the world. However, all of this changed when he met Eru Chitanda. Eru was the president of the Classic Literature Club and Hotaro had to join it.

Hotaro is a very cool and calm guy. He doesn’t get worked up over minor things. His ability to solve a mystery from small details is really impressive. He can be a good detective!

Lawliet L is the next character to feature this list. You know it’s not  possible to make a list of INTJ characters without L, right? He is one of the most intelligent anime characters out there. There are a few who can match his caliber, like Light and some other.

As all of you know, he is a detective. L is not his real name. He has managed to keep his real name hidden. He is a GENIUS. The way he shortlisted Light of all the people living in Japan is spectacular. His analytical skills are top-notch.

He is the type of guy who won’t trust you whatsoever. Light worked with him for a long time, still, L had his suspicions. It’s a shame he had to die because of stupid plot. 

 

02-Kaguya Shinomiya (Kaguya-sama: Love is War)

What are the most important things about an INTJ character? Well! Most of them are geniuses and have great humor, right? If yess! Kaguya Shinomiya is the perfect INTJ. She is a model student and a student council member. She usually gets perfect grades and is good at almost everything. She remains cool and calm most of the time, however, when it comes to Miyuki, she loses her composure.

There is another thing about INTJ characters, they are usually obsessed with something. In this case, Shinomiya is obsessed with Miyuki. The whole story is based on her trying to get a confession out of Miyuki. Her plotting skills are something else, lol!

She is also a manipulative person and can manipulate people at will.

Kiyotaka Ayanokoji is the next INTJ character on this list. I guess we can’t complete this list without him, right?

Well! In the beginning of the show, he seemed like a normal psychological anime protagonist. However, as the story progressed, we got to see his new sides. Ayanokoji is a calm and collected guy who only thinks of himself. It might seem like he is helping you, but he isn’t!!

He is a highly manipulative person which can be seen multiple times during the show. He even manipulated his whole class to his advantage. He is a born leader who knows how to get people to work. And he is not expressive about his feelings. 

 

Conclusion

Sooo, here is the blog fellas. Well! This one was kinda difficult as it is really difficult to predict if a character is INTJ or not. He/she may fall into some other category as well.
