Lookism is the anime adaptation of the manhwa known as “Lookism”. It’s an ongoing manhwa series and its story has been summarized through anime adaptation which means you’ll see these characters in action!

Lookism anime was released in the winter of 2022 and revolves around the life of Park Hyung Seok, a high schooler. He gets bullied for being ugly and overweight by the students at his school which is why he transferred schools.
After he was beaten up by one of the thugs in the new city, his identity completely changed and he opened his eyes inside the body of a handsome and tall individual! Now, he has to live two lives! Let’s talk about Lookism anime characters now!

Main Characters
Daniel Park
Daniel Park is the main character of the Lookism anime, around whom the whole story revolves. He’s a student at J High School studying fashion and he can transfer his consciousness or soul between two bodies! One is the body of the chubby Daniel Park, the other is the body of a tall handsome guy!
Because of his original physique, he’s called Pikachu by Logan Lee. And Daniel wasn’t proud of his appearance, so he often hid behind the shadows and corners!
After acquiring this new “lean, tall and handsome” body, he decided to leave the plump Daniel Park’s body to work at a mini convenience store.
Let’s talk a bit about his personality now. When it comes to Daniel Park’s nature, he’s a kind and friendly individual who will always help others whenever they need it. Daniel often takes out his frustration or anger on his mother as he gets bullied very often. And this kind of thoughts actually saddens him. Daniel has always wanted to treat his mother well but the continuous bullying made his life a hell!

Park Hyung Seok
Park Hyung Seok is also known as the second Daniel Park. He is the new “individuality” that Daniel can transfer his consciousness to. Park Hyung Seok is the attractive and lean version of Daniel Park who doesn’t wear any glasses and is athletic. He’s incredibly gorgeous and it is one of his most notable traits! Because of his handsome looks, he can deceive women and the people around him. In fact, sometimes he ends up scaring others around him due to his flawless appearance.
Pretty obviously, no one has seemed to surpass Park Hyung Seok’s looks. He’s quite popular all around the school and is in fact known to be a fighter too! Since he has been bullied quite often, he can now predict his opponent’s pounces which is why he can block their attacks and ends up defeating them in a fight! Daniel is known to use Park Hyung Seok’s body at school too. His mother doesn’t know about transferring his soul and consciousness between bodies just yet. He covers it up by saying that Park Hyung Seok is his handsome friend.
As far as his personality is concerned, considering the fact that Park Hyung Seok is much more good looking, he is way more confident as compared to Daniel Park. That’s why he walks with his shoulders and face up! Ever since Daniel transformed into Park Hyung Seok, he became very happy and made quite a lot of friends as well. Not only is he stunning but as said, he’s a good fighter as well! Nobody would want to mess up with our boy!
Logan Lee
Logan Lee is a former student of J High School, he studied in the comics department. Logan is described as also a flabby yet buff person who’s quite tall and gives off the noxious vibes of a typical antagonist in the series. His height is 6’3 (190 cm) which makes him one of the tallest characters in the anime!
Logan Lee is arrogant and has black hair. We mostly see him bored in the anime looking down on weaker people than him. In fact, he can’t stand handsome guys who get all the attention! He’s known to have a signature move when it comes to participating in a fight! He mostly wears a tiger-printed shirt like most of the other thugs and he has tattoos as well!
If we talk about his personality, he’s a hateful and prideful person who won’t hesitate to kill anyone. When he participated in the animation department or the comic department, he considered everyone a sheep. Thus, he looked down on everyone around him, making his narcissistic traits very evident.

Zack Lee
Zack Lee also known as Lee Jin Sung is also one of the students in the fashion department at J High School. He’s considered one of the main characters in Lookism. Zack is a tall guy whose height is about 185 cm along with a sturdy physique.
His appearance is just like a true chad with slick black hair that is cut on the sides and has been shaved as well. Since he’s from the fashion department, he puts effort into clothing himself or styling. Zack likes to wear any gray colored clothes. As for his expressions, he’s mostly serious but when he smiles, he looks like the sweetest individual alive! Whenever he’s with Mira, he doesn’t seem to care about anything else! Overall, he’s a really responsible person when it comes to protecting his loved ones!
Despite his poor manners at times, he’s a really kind guy who saved Johan from the bullies but this kindness is only reserved for those who are dear to him.
Mira Kim
Mira Kim or Kim Mi Jin is also one of the main characters in Lookism who’s a student at Jae Won High in the fashion department. She’s also the love interest of Zack Lee and she’s also Daniel’s friend.
Mira is a cute girl who’s considered to be one of the most beautiful characters in the anime. She has auburn-colored hair along with fringes. Her eyes are pretty big and dark. Her slim/petite figure makes her one of the waifus in Lookism (and in the anime fandom too!).
In many episodes of Lookism, she’s seen wearing their uniform. However, when she’s not in it, she tends to wear very fashionable clothes.
When it comes to her personality, she’s a kind and caring individual who doesn’t want her friends to get in trouble. Whenever Zack is in trouble, she tries to help him and get him out of fighting. Mira Kim has many talents like observing other people’s traits. Her intuition is no joke but when it comes to people betraying her, she forgives them and gives them a chance as well! When Jasmine framed Vasco, Mira still gave her a second chance to make up for Jasmine’s wrongdoings. So, this side of her personality makes her stand out from the rest of the characters.
One of the best things about Mira is taking Zack Lee as an inspiration for “boxing”. Who teaches her about this kind of sport. And undeniably, it is paying off.
Zoe Park
Zoe Park is also one of the main characters in Lookism who’s considered to be a kawaii waifu. She’s also studying fashion at J High School! Zoe is a tall girl with an hourglass body shape, she’s gorgeous to the extent of melting your hearts! Zoe mostly wears a school uniform but aside from that, she also wears fashionable and trendy clothes.
Zoe tends to use her charms to flirt with the guys that she likes. One popular rumor about her is that whenever she comes across a good-looking or handsome boy, she tends to flirt with them. Since Zoe is pretty, she has stalkers as well. Thus, one day, Daniel saved her from stalkers, and at that moment, she realizes that she shouldn’t just like people based on their looks but their mannerisms too!
Overall, her personality is quite calm and kind. She’s known to help everyone around her, for instance, whenever someone’s in trouble, she’ll help them even if they’re just strangers! Zoe is also considered to be quite protective of her loved ones. She will definitely go through challenges and difficult times when it comes to the ones close to her heart. Zoe’s name literally means “beautiful” and “wise”. So, these two things basically explains her personality.
Crystal Choi
Crystal Choi is also one of the main characters in Lookism who has two individualities like Daniel. In her original body, she’s quite much like Daniel and it’s as if she’s the female version of Daniel Park. But when it comes to her other body, she possesses unmatched beauty! She’s not just beautiful but rich as well! She’s the daughter of the HNH chairman.
Whenever she’s in her alternate body, her fashion sense is top-notch and nobody can really slay the clothes that way. When it comes to her personality, she hates extremely attractive people due to her experiences with them. She has come to the conclusion that all the pretty people are egotistical and rude. This belief made her despise Daniel too in his alternate body! Crystal Choi can also prove to be cold or rude at times since she never went out of her way to help others.
One interesting fact about her is that she’s quite good at doing jump kicks and is shown to beat up three women at the same time! She’s capable of fighting and defending herself very well! Jay Hong
Jay Hong is one of the major supporting characters in Lookism who’s also studying in the fashion department of J High School. Jay is taller than the average student at the school. He’s known for his amazing fashion skills and outfits.
You know how there are some people at your school who will be late for class but their drip will always be on point?
When it comes to Jay’s personality, he’s a shy and quiet individual who only speaks when necessary. Despite his quiet demeanor, he’s a great fighter and he can surely kick people around when necessary! Jay Hong is quite nice towards Daniel and is shown to treat him in the best possible way. Whenever Daniel’s in danger, Jay is always protecting him.
One of the best things about Jay is that he’s quiet all the time and whenever he speaks, he speaks in an aggressive but cool manner. The fact that he can do martial arts makes him stand out from the rest of the characters in the anime!
Yui Kim
Yui Kim is also one of the students in the fashion department of J High School. She’s a beautiful person with dark black eyes who are seen to wear casual clothes apart from the school uniform. Yui used to be a really kind and caring person who spoke nothing but the truth. She never judged people by their looks but then Daniel fell in love with her which made her insult Daniel and it was all because of Daniel’s appearance.
It was portrayed that Yui was never really an honest person, she’s been a dishonest person from the very start! But if we talk about her current personality, she’s really polite and respectful towards other people and is highly aware of the mistakes that she made in her past. So, she tries her best to not make the same mistakes again!
All the things she learned along the way made her think about the mistakes she made. And she is now fixing her attitude and thriving to be a more matured and better person. Gun Park
Gun Park or Park Jong Gun is one of the main characters in Lookism as well, who’s a high-level fighter in the anime. He’s quite popular for being a legendary fighter and because of his fighting techniques and tactics, he’s working as the personal bodyguard of the HNH chairman’s daughter named Crystal Choi.
Thugs or delinquents are always an interesting concept in anime, right? Similarly, Gun Park is one of the thugs in Lookism. He also has one of the most prominent figures out of all the fighters in the anime. When it comes to his personality, he’s a composed individual whose looks are stern. He’s also amused by stronger opponents, for instance, you will only see him smiling when he finds someone with interesting potential. Gun Park was raised by Tom Lee and some of his habits he got from Tom, since both of them spent plenty of time together. When Gun Park is provoked, he makes sure to kick everyone around and he becomes merciless ! We all need a tough character like Gun Park in our everyday life to defend us. Isn’t that right? Lee Eun Tae
Lee Eun Tae is known to be one of the supporting characters in Lookism who is also known as Vasco in the Netflix adaptation. He’s an architecture student at J High School and the leader of the Burn Knuckles gang.
Lee Eun Tae is a very tall and well-built person who has toned or strong muscles. In fact, there are tons of tattoos around his body. What makes him special and stand out from the rest of the characters are his black hair and fair skin.
As far as his personality is concerned, he’s known to have a peculiar personality. He appears to be quite an innocent and pure-hearted individual. Lee Eun Tae highly cares about those people who get treated unfairly in society and he makes sure to step up for them. Even though Eun Tae might come off as a mentally tough individual, he has his own sensitive moments where he needs a break from everything and have some relaxation. Joy Hong
Joy Hong is known to be the fitting model of Bok Hee. She’s just a freshman at J High School and is also one of the supporting characters in Lookism. She’s a short woman with dark black hair with straight bangs. Joy is known to be quite attractive to people around her. When it comes to her personality, she’s a bubbly and cheerful individual. Due to her acting as a fitting model, she has to interact with tons of people. Joy is a fun person to hang out with and she’s known to be straightforward. Mary Kim
Mary Kim participates in the Dance and the Vocal department of J High School. She’s tall and is a laid-back individual who can’t easily get stressed out about the smallest things. Mary is the type of person who lives her life to the fullest.
Mary is a very outgoing individual who loves interacting with others. We can see her fooling around with her friends quite often and qualities like giving unique ideas to her department make her stand out from the rest of the students!
Vin Jin
Vin Jin is also one of the coolest supporting characters in Lookism who’s also a part of the Dance and the Vocal Department. When it comes to his personality, he’s an arrogant but handsome individual. Vin Jin wishes to become the best so that he can look down upon others.
