Hello, my friends! Today, our new list will analyze 15 most popular manhwa characters! Of course, the list is based on my personal opinions, so don’t get irritated if your favorite character is not included in it or if he/she doesn’t have the ranking you wished for. There are so many good ones that it’s impossible to fit them all in just one list, but I tried to choose wisely.
Most of them are main characters or protagonists, but we know that the more important the characters are in a story, the more popular they are! Anyway, let’s get started! I hope you will enjoy the article!

Gi-jeong is one of the main characters of Spirit Fingers and the protagonist’s love interest! He is a tall and good-looking boy who is also a part-time model. He has a cheerful, kind and funny personality. The unfortunate boy is also sadly known for his poor colon health, which will create some bizarre situations in the manhwa.

Sometimes he has some trouble in dealing with his patients and in understanding them, but his high intellect comes in handy in these situations. However, he will slowly warm up, learn to open up and express his feelings throughout the series.

Medea is a noblewoman with a very meaningful name (I hope you are interested in Greek mythology, it’s quite fascinating and the inspiration for this manhwa). As part of nobility, she shows characteristics such as grace and elegance, but behind this appearance, she has quite a temper.
That’s what makes her an interesting character, along with her special powers! She is also very beautiful and always wears purple clothes and accessories (I guess it’s her favorite color, but it’s just an assumption).

Dokja is a smart and rational young man who uses his wit to persuade people. He is quite cool and a good leader. He sounds boring from this description, but he wouldn’t be one of the most popular characters if he was, right?
Also, he is the only one who knows what is going on in his world and what to do to stop the catastrophe from happening (hence, the name of the manhwa).

I’m sure Seo-jun had a popularity boost after the True Beauty k-drama aired in Korea. I swear, I loved him in the live-action adaptation. In the manhwa, as well as in the drama, he is a handsome and talented boy who wants to become an idol. He falls in love with the main character of the series, but, like all the other second male leads in romance manhwa (I always feel sorry for them, that’s why I’m usually on their side), he doesn’t get the girl. And that’s quite a pity! He is so funny, caring, protective, sensitive, attractive, smart. The perfect boyfriend material!

I really love strong female characters who fight to achieve their goal and protect their beliefs. Firentia is one of them. I swear, Winter is like a cute little child. He is adorable with his simple and spontaneous reactions to the real world he didn’t know anything about and is discovering for the first time.
He will have an amazing and impressive growth throughout the whole series, as he will learn how to live as a human being, how to love and express his emotions.

Do you believe in magic? I hope you do, because this time, the character we deal with is a magician! Like, a real magician who uses real magic. Also, L (which is not his real name, but who cares, it’s cool anyway) is totally attractive and charming. He has this mysterious aura that surrounds him and makes him even more irresistible.

Yeon Lok Heun is a perfect hero, but, most of all, she is a female heroine who has the characteristics we only see in shonen male protagonists. She is a Mulan-like main character: she pretends to be a man in order to protect her father. Like Mulan, she is a brave and strong woman who goes against the stereotypical female representation. Of course, along the way, she will face the troubles of love or the risk of getting caught, but she won’t be afraid. She will fight for what she believes in.

As the main character of Solo Leveling, of course I have to give Jin-Woo 10 in the importance’s section! He is a confident young man who struggles to become stronger and who deeply loves his family. Maybe it’s because of his personality that he is so much appreciated, but I think his good look is also a plus.
