How Many Fillers Are There In Akame Ga Kill?
Akame Ga Kill has a total of 24 awesome episodes with no filler at all, sounds good, right? However, there is one mixed filler that was incorporated into the canon episode 19 (Kill the Fate) However, it’s still not recommended to skip.
About Akame Ga Kill - PLOT
Akame Ga Kill is an action, dark fantasy anime. It was written by Takahiro and illustrated by Tetsuya Tashiro. The original manga ran from March 20, 2010 – December 22, 2016. A lot of people love Akame Ga Kill due to its excessive amount of violence, death, and sad events in the series. So now, let’s talk about the storyline
Akame ga kill follows Tatsumi who recently joins a group of assassins called ‘Night Raid’. Their target is to free the capital from the corrupted government.
Akame Ga Kill Story Arcs - Introduction Arc
1. Joining Night Raid Mini Arc (Episodes 1-3)
After seeing the cruelty of the Capital, Tatsumi is figuring out whether he should be a part of the elite class of assassins referred to as Night Raid. They were explaining to him that ‘their only target is Government officials and the upper class who are corrupt. They want to overthrow the government and change it with something better’.
2. Zank the Executioner Mini Arc (Episode 4)
The guy referred to as Zank the Executioner is a former jail executioner who had his work cut out for him as unjust sentences multiplied because of corruption.
3. Kill the Absolute Justice Mini Arc (Episodes 5-6)
Tatsumi sees a dream where his dead friends, Ieyasu and Sayo, tell him to forget about them. He needs to try to find new friends because he shouldn’t rely on them anymore. They said goodbye to Tatsumi and hoped they would meet again in another life.
Three Beasts Arc
1. Jaegers Foundation Mini Arc (episodes 9-11)
General Esdeath returns after defeating the North and pledges to defend the Capital towards any enemies. Mourning the death of Sheele, Tatsumi and the rest of Night Raid begin to plan a way to overwhelm the defenders of the capital. Continuing their mission, Tatsumi and Bulat want to stand up to Esdeath’s Relic-wielding servants, though they may be killed by one of the powerful opponents.
Dr. stylish found Night Raid’s secret hideout and attacked. He was almost successful in taking them down.
2. Humanoid Dangerous Beast Mini Arc (episodes 12-14)
Esdeath coincidentally runs into Tatsumi once more at the same time as each of them have been searching for Danger Beasts which basically becomes actively killing human beings separately. The episode ends with Esdeath placing her heel down on the Danger Beast she defeated while she caught Tatsumi on a whim.
Religious Organization Arc
1. Night Raid vs Jaegers Mini Arc (episodes 15-17)
Night raid attacks the Capital with all power, the group splits into attracting the Jaegers out of the city. Chelsea is going on the hunt to defeat Kurome for good. Akame remembers her sister and how much they have sacrificed so far in their life.
2. Bolic's Assassination Mini Arc (episodes 18-19)
The Jaegers join with Night Raid and their aim is to bring down the Rakshasa Demons.
Final Arc (episodes 20-24)
Ok, so this is the final arc and this is also the conclusion of a long battle between Night Raid and the Imperial Kingdom. However, this arc will make you cry. There are a couple of deaths in this arc that are just too much to take. Tatsumi was given two choices: he will join Esdeath, or he’ll be killed by her. A legendary battle between Akame and Esdeath takes place. Besides that, our young emperor reveals his Trump Card, which almost changes everything.
