Hello Guys! Today we are going to discuss one of my most favorite anime, Soul Eater! It is one of the top-class anime with good artwork. It was started in 2008 and has a total of 51 episodes. It also has a spin-off series named Soul Eater Not! It was released in 2014. Soul Eater also has a movie that was released in 2017 named Soul Eater: Late Night Show.

“You guys know” why is it my favorite? It is because of its unique storyline. I love this series.

This anime series ended in 2009 only a year after it started but during this one year, it captured everyone’s attention.

PLOT

The story starts with a group of people who have special powers. These powers are their bodies. They can become a weapon at any time. The story moves forward as a training center named Death Weapon Meister Academy starts teaching these people so that they can be death sickle.

The story follows the adventure of these people who have to gather spirits of 99 evil peoples and a sorceress’s spirit to be a death sickle.

There are two types of spirits, a good spirit emits good power while on the other hand, a bad spirit emits bad power that is a big danger for the universe. To save the universe from these bad powers Lord of Death and his team capture the bad spirits to make weapons.

These weapons are then used by other people to fight Evil Forces. These people are known as Meisters. Every Meister has to capture 99 bad spirits and a sorceress’s spirit, to upgrade their weapon to a Death sickle. But the evil forces are not easy to defeat. They make weapons to use against the Meisters.

Three teams of Meisters are on their way to fight the evil forces. There is a demon lord who is sleeping in the town. The Meisters try their best to save the universe from him.

Soul Eater NOT! (2014)

So guys, as we have known the story of Soul Eater Anime Series. The next series in order is Soul Eater NOT!. It is a spin-off series. The series was released in 2014. Nearly, 5 years after the ending of the first series. It has a total of 12 episodes out of which no one is a filler.

So, let’s discuss its plot.

PLOT

The plot revolves around a girl named Tsugumi Harudori. She started learning in a new grade in the training center known as Death Weapon Meister Academy. The grade was known by the name “NOT”. The story is about the adventures of Tsugumi Harudori and her best friends.

The Death Weapon Meister Academy divides up into two batches, one is known as NOT, while the second is the E.A.T. The NOT refers to the Normally Overcome Target batch and E.A.T stands for Especially Advantaged Talent batch.

The students of the NOT batch are trained to have command of their extraordinary powers while students of the E.A.T batch focus on fighting the evil forces and saving the universe.

A girl, named Tsugumi Harudori, gets into the Death Weapon Meister Academy. She has made new friends named Anya Hepburn and Meme Tatane. She and her friends live adventurous lives as a student of Death Weapon Meister Academy. The series also has appearances of characters from Soul Eater’s (2008) Anime Series.

Her adventurous life suddenly turned into darkness when she and her friends encountered a sorceress named Shaula Gorgon, who had planned to destroy the Death Weapon Meister Academy with her evil forces. Tsugumi also has to choose between her two friends on Halloween.

Soul Eater: Late Night Show

As we have already discussed the series. The next one is its movie. This fantastic series has only one movie released till now and It is “Soul Eater: Late Night Show”. The Soul Eater Movie was released in 2016. Two years after the spin-off series was released.

However, the plot of the movie is unknown.

Conclusion

Guys, the conclusion is that the series is one of the top anime. I also really loved watching this series. It also has a mix-up of comedy and action genres. The artwork is also outstanding. Moreover, one of the best things is its storyline which I loved a lot. As it is quite different from other anime plots.

It is also more interesting than other anime which is another cause of its success. If you are an anime lover like me, you have to watch Soul Eater but don’t forget to watch it in chronological order or simply watch order.

Firstly, you can watch Soul Eater NOT! as it tells the story behind the release of the Soul Eater Anime Series and then you can watch Soul Eater: Late Night Show.

The Soul Eater is an adventurous series. My favorite character in the series is Death the Kid. However, every character in this series is awesome.

If we talk about the plot, it’s full of creativity and fantasy. The Death Weapon Meister Academy managed by Lord of Death is located in Death city. It trains humans with special weapon bodies to capture evil spirits and become death sickles. There is a Demon Lord who is sleeping in this town. The Meisters ( humans having a body with special weapons ) are trying their best to save the world from him and his evil forces without caring about themselves.

Also, the Spin-off is fantastic as it shares the adventurous life of people at Death weapon Meister Academy. So, if you are looking for an anime that has a unique storyline then I will again suggest you watch Soul Eater.

Despite its only 51 episodes, a spin-off, and a movie. It is still the most popular and top-class anime series for anime lovers like me and you guys. The thing I like the most about this series is its plot as it is different from the other anime.
