Episodes: 75
Duration: 24 minutes
Storyline:
Being bullied most of the time, Ippo Makunouchi wakes up in a gym full of professional boxers after being brutally injured. Basically, he was saved by a pro boxer who took him to the gym. Constantly running errands, Ippo always dreamt of changing himself for the better. As Ippo was brought to the gym, he was forced to take his frustrations out on a sandbag. That’s the moment when everyone realized that he has a talent for boxing.
Takamura one of the pro boxers put the photo of Ippo’s class fellow on the sandbag to see his true power. Now that’s one way of pissing someone off. It’s “try at home” friendly. Takamura feels like if he gives Ippo one week time limit, he can surely improve himself. With the sudden passion of getting stronger, Ippo relentlessly trains.
