Koyomi Araragi
Koyomi is the protagonist of the Monogatari series. He is a calm individual leading an asocial life but after his encounter with Hanekawa, he became more open to making friends. Due to his supernatural abilities, he is physically very fit.
Koyomi Araragi is a very loving and caring person as can be seen in his desire to always help others, even acting recklessly and abusing his powers to ensure others are safe. Academically, he is a mess, failing almost all classes but who needs education when you are trying to go up against vampires and gods.
Tsuhiki Araragi
Tsuhiki is the youngest of the Araragi family, however, she possesses traits similar to that of a phoenix, being an offspring of the Shide No Tori. Ironically, Tsuhiki doesn’t believe in the supernatural despite being one herself.
While she shares her sisters’ quest for justice, she lacks the motivation to go all out for it like her elder sister. She rather prefers in-door activities. She is short-tempered, a little surprised that her catchphrase is ‘’I’m platinum mad’’.

Karen of the Araragi family was born in the month of June with no specific date stated. She is a younger sister to the protagonist and also the elder of the Tsuganoki 2nd middle school fire sisters.
Karen Is a fervent practitioner of martial arts, she is highly flexible and is also the tallest among the Araragi siblings, a fact that pisses off her older brother. She has a knack for pretending to be a superhero even though she doesn’t believe in the supernatural.
Nadeko Sengoku
Born on the third of June, she is a childhood friend of Tsuhiki Araragi. After losing contact with Koyomi, she was acquainted with him again when trying to cure herself of the invisible snake curse that caused her scars. She is quite shy and relies heavily on Koyomi.
Shinobu Oshino
June 29th is her birthday. She’s a former human princess who later became a mysterious vampire, Shinobu Oshino. Shinobu is nicknamed Kiss-shot. Losing her vampire powers took a toll on her. But after regaining her personality, she became very talkative. Shinobu seems to have feelings for Koyomi as she gets jealous when he spends time with other girls.

The third-year student of Naoetsu private high school was born on July 7th. She looks way younger than her age, looking very frail and said to possess an incurable disease. The beautiful Hitagi can be quite frightening with her blunt nature, speaking with a sharp tongue most times.
