Not too long after entering the school, he is challenged to a duel by the ‘Queen’ and the most powerful slayer in the school, Claire Harvey.

This romance anime entails the story of Yuki attending Takafuji Private Academy; a large school with over 6,000 students.

14. Rising of the Shield Hero
This story revolves around clueless Naofumi Iwatami being summoned into a parallel world as a Cardinal Hero to fight interdimensional monsters called Waves. Having been betrayed and falsely accused of a crime he did not commit by the kingdom’s princess, he must now fend for himself and carry out heroic acts in order to regain the trust and gratitude of the people.
The story sees him on a journey to unravel the mystery behind the waves alongside his companions to put an end to the inter-dimensional threat.

Talk about monster transformations and stuff happening in Werewolf movies, all those events are packed into this anime. Shuichi Kagaya is a high-schooler with a mysterious ability to transform into a dog-like monster resembling a mascot costume.
After rescuing Claire Aoki from an attempt to die, they both embark on a journey to find Claire’s older sister. Claire Aoki is the perfect example of a ‘ girl-initially-hates-boy’, and then develops immense love for him later on. Her care for Shuichi grew to the point that she swore to kill herself should he die before her.

This story takes the reality of being rejected by girls to a whole new level. As evidenced by Licht Bach, a legendary ace and protagonist who has been rejected by girls over 1,000 times. This anime follows the Story of Hina Farrow in a quest to search for Licht Bach, as directed by her mum before being dragged into the abyss for all eternity.
Despite him being over 300 years old, young Hina falls for him and vows to mother his baby someday while the two embark on an adventure to correct the age-old actions made by the higher-ups of their current post-apocalyptic world.
11. Misfit of Demon King Academy
When it comes to bragging, no one does it better than Anos Voldigoad! Anos Voldigoad is reincarnated 2,000 years after he sacrificed his life to put an end to the 2,000-year-old era of continuous wars and strife and to ensure peace.

9. The Quintessential Quintuplets
Imagine receiving romantic interests from five identical sisters ― a situation I definitely want to be in. This anime follows the story of an academically intelligent high schooler Futaro Uesugi, who finds himself in a difficult life situation following the death of his mother, and poor financial choices made by his father.
Fortunately for him, he is hired by the affluent Nakano family into a high-paying tutoring job. His charges ― five identical quintuplet sisters ― possessed varying personalities and have no interest in studying, but he helps them turn around and improve their grades. The story sees him bonding with each sister on a personal level, and at the end of the series, it is revealed he marries one of the sisters but her identity is yet to be unravelled.

In this post-apocalyptic action anime, Kisara Tendo shares a bit of affection towards Rentaro Satomi ― her subordinate and the protagonist.
This anime follows the story of mankind being ravaged by the Gastrea virus in the year 2021, not literally! Here they are left with no choice but to live within monolith walls containing Varanium ― a metallic substance that happens to repel the Gastrea virus. Rentaro, working in the Tendo Civil Security Agency as a Promoter, alongside his initiator, Enju Aihara carries out missions to prevent the destruction of the world as they know it, including the Tokyo Area.
7. Re: Zero
Subaru finds himself in a foreign world after visiting a store. In this newfound fantasy world, he receives the ability to rewind time and revive himself each time he dies.
He uses this power to help his romantic interest, Emilia, achieve the position of Queen. As the story unfolds he discovers Rem, develops extreme feelings for him and vows to always help him achieve his goals. This Isekai anime has a lot of adventure packed into the story and is definitely a must-watch.

This anime might be old-school as it was aired in 1994, but its romance story is nothing short of amazing. Karin is sent from the future to stop Junta Momonari, a Mega-Playboy who would go on to teasy so many women and father 100 children due to his immense charisma.
This doesn’t just stop with him, all his descendants inherit his genes and each of them goes on to father 100 children each, thus leading to an overpopulated world where having more than 1 child is punishable by death. The anime follows the story of Karin trying to improvise after accidentally awakening his Mega-Playboy gene.
4. Death Note
I know you hadn’t anticipated seeing Death Note on this list, but let’s not forget Misa was big simping over the infamous Kira to the point where she willfully shortened her lifespan twice just to help him achieve his goals.
We know the story of Death Note all too well and it hardly needs any introduction. The psychological thriller anime sees Light Yagami exercising his self-proclaimed justice on the criminal society through the death wielding powers of the Death Note. He is however met with a big obstacle, L, the world’s greatest detective dedicated to uncovering Light’s true identity.

Shido Itsuka is tasked with sealing certain spirits responsible for spatial earthquakes which have been occurring for over 30 years, the first of which caused 150 million casualties.
The catch, however, is that to seal the spirits, he has to make them fall in love with him. Throughout the series, he seals more and more spirits and also makes allies who help with his task.
