Manga and Superman. That one NEWS every Anime fan has been waiting for. In the DC universe, Superman is like Goku! He’s strong, he’s from a different race, and loves friends and family (not sure about Goku LOL.)
Here it is, Superman is finally getting a manga adaptation that will be coming soon. Right now, Kodansha is working with DC Comics to make Superman’s manga a reality. Moreover, this announcement also came from Kodansha as the two companies will collaborate and give us something that fans have been waiting for years.

And if Superman gets an Anime adaptation, that’ll mean the world to a lot of Anime fans too. Right now, the manga is being drawn by Kitago Kai and the storytelling is done by Miyagawa Satoshi. These two people are going to make Superman come into the manga world.

Superman Manga - What's The Tea?
While we’re talking about Tea, yes, this Superman manga will tell us the story about Superman vs Meshi. If you guys don’t know Japanese, Meshi literally means meal. So, it’s quite a name considering that Superman is the symbol of hope and he’s fighting meals?
Superman vs Meshi will go live on June 22 in Japan. Even though the manga might not come to the US, who knows? If the series is a hit, it might even get an Anime adaptation. You can see the tweet below to see the cover. I’m not gonna lie, Superman looks kind of cool!
On the other hand, Marvel is not coming slow. They’re working on bringing Marvel mangas with the help of Viz Media, and that’s what we hope for the DC fans too. Aside from all the hate between Comics vs Manga, it’s so cool to see that the world of Anime/Manga is going crazy right now. Let’s see what this means for the community.
