The start of this manga is already funny. Let us seat down and let me tell you everything for you. So, Kaoru Hanabishi, is a kind, friendly, good-looking college student. Suddenly, he met a girl who was lost at the train station. I tell ya, man! she’s very pretty and with that kimono? DAMN! The good lad decides to help the beautiful young lady (Lucky!) Yet when they arrived at the location… they found nothing! Until the girl decides to show Kaoru the person that she was looking for.
Kaoru recognizes the person in the image… it was a photo of himself! (YUP I WAS SHOCKED TOO!) He remembered that he was betrothed to Aoi Sakuraba! And guessed who’s that? That’s the right detective! That’s the beautiful young lady in the kimono! But the question is… what happened? I mean how did Kaoru get away with the fixed marriage? Umm… let’s say it was canceled because the young lad left his family. Despite that reason, and for many years Aoi remains committed! (Now he ain’t just lucky folks, he’s blessed!)

Ya’ll be looking for some genres such as reincarnation, harem, and comedy?! Then hold this glass cuz I’ll quench thy thirst. In his former life, he spends his life in an office, until one day he died! Finding himself reincarnated into an otome game that he and his sister played and actually finished it! The game sets in the kingdom of Holfort and the lad that I just introduced to ya is known in this world as Leon Fou Bartfort ( what a name!) In this world, women rule the world! Exactly! Just like that song! I forgot the title though! But, never mind that!
Using his experience from his past life, he tried to survive in this matriarchic world. He seeks to live a normal life but he gets involved in many kinds of disasters!
65- Kimi No Koto Ga Daidaidaidaidaisuki Na 100-Nin No Kanojo

How lucky can you be? Like seriously, these MC’s have taken things too far, lol! Can you even expect to become the roommate of a female teacher? No, right? However, Yuuki Kagami is lucky enough in this regard.
Firstly, Kagami got admitted to the school of his dreams. Secondly, he was mistakenly put in the girl’s dormitory. Ahhhhh!!!
63- Fujimura-Kun Mates
Why do delinquents fear girls? Like really, I’ve seen in manga and anime that delinquents fear nothing except girls. The same is the case with our MC, Fujimura. Being a delinquent, Fujimura was feared by almost everyone at school. He had no friends and he didn’t even come to school.
However, all this changes when the class president comes after him. I have a serious question here. Do girls really like bad boys? If yesssssss, then I guess it’s about time I become a delinquent, huh!
62- Parallel Paradise
Ahhh! This manga is literally the dream of every guy out there. After being pushed out from a window, Tada Youta gets teleported to another world where only women exist. Really a paradise for men!
These women were not just ordinary women, each one of them was gorgeous. And of course, they had not seen a man before. Sooo, it’s a win-win situation for Youta here. I can also take you to another world by simply clicking this: Best Isekai Manga.
61- World’s End H*R*M
Now this one is pretty unique. I’ll tell you a thing or two about myself, I’m a huge fan of unique things. So, you’ll find a lot of unique manga on this list.
World’s End Harem is basically about a world where only women exist. The story, basically, begins as Reito finds out about his disease and that there is no cure for his illness. Even his love, Erisa, promises to wait for him.
However, when he wakes up, he finds out that 99.99 percent of the world’s male population has died due to a virus, and he is one of the few survivors. This genre + Isekai = Greatness!!!
This manga follows the story of a young man who just wanted to take his life. For this purpose, he was looking for ways to commit suicide on the Internet. As he was doing this, he found a shady website where you can create a game character using skill points. He found it fun and created his character.
59- Maou No Hajimekata The Comic
Are you a Misanthropist? You don’t know what a misanthropist is? I’ll tell you a bit about them. Misanthropists are humans who hate other humans. They don’t trust other humans and believe that humans always lie and betray.
The same is the case with our MC, Oulu. Oulu spent his whole life researching humans and he concluded that humans are bound to betray you and they cannot be trusted. This earned him the right to become the Demon Lord and build his own Labyrinth.
Follow Oulu’s story as he single-handedly takes on the entire world.
58- Maken-Ki
Another pretty interesting manga about Magic and of course, Romance. Maken-Ki follows the story of a teenage boy named Ooyamu Takeru. Takeru got admitted to a magic high school where students are taught magic. After getting admitted, he learns that to use special abilities, you must have a weapon known as Maken.
Unfortunately, no Maken was compatible with him. On top of all this, most of the girls at school hate him. Pretty Unlucky, I’d say.
Not the usual type of manga. Hehehehe! Other than all this, the art style of the manga is awesome and the story is pretty well-balanced.
57- Masamune-Kun No Revenge / Masamune-Kun’s Revenge
Masamune-kun no Revenge is the perfect example of a rom-com. Each and every character in this manga is amazing and would surely make you laugh. Were you ever bullied because you were fat? If yes, then our MC Masamune-Kun is a motivation for you.
Masamune-Kun’s sole purpose in life is to take revenge against Aki Adagaki (His Childhood crush) because she rejected him. Masamune then worked hard and got a perfect body that can get any girl. Masamune’s story takes some serious turns and it turns out pretty hilarious.
56-Shinmai Maou No Testement / The Testament Of Sister New Devil
Demons and heroes have always been enemies. Idk, why though. However, what will happen when a hero has to become the elder brother of two demon sisters? It would be devastating, you’d think.
Our MC, Basara Toujou, is stuck in a similar situation. One day, his father brought two girls home and told him to take care of them as their brother. Well! Things got even more complicated when Basara found out their true identity. As Basara is from the Hero clan, who are supposed to defeat demons, it became really difficult to choose between his duties as a hero and his role as a big brother.
What would you do in such a situation?
55- IS: Infinite Stratos
I always wondered how it would feel to be special? Like, is it great? Well! Most people would find it awesome. However, there are some consequences. You have to shoulder insane responsibilities.
The same is the case with our MC, Ichika Orimura. Ichika Orimura is the only male in the entire world who can handle the Mecha, Infinite Stratos. Sounds insane!
However, Infinite Stratos requires two pilots, one male, and the other female. As Ichika is the male pilot, it’s time for him to find a female counterpart. For this purpose, he has to enroll in an all-girls academy. This marks the beginning of Ichika Omimaru’s journey.
54- Magica No Kenshi To Basileus
It is my dream to live in a world of magic. But, it is only possible in the manga. However, we can still enjoy stories related to magic thanks to the author’s imagination.
Magica no Kenshi to Basileus takes place in a world where summoners can summon mystical beings from a parallel dimension and use their powers. However, up until now, only women were able to summon beings.
Things changed as Kazuki Hayashizaki was able to become the first male summoner. He got admitted to a summoner class, but he was not accepted well by the females there.
It makes sense, right? Would he be able to win their trust and earn his place in the academy? I’m not sure about it.
53- Isekai Maou To Shoukan Shoujo No Dorei Majutsu / How NOT To Summon A Demon Lord
Well! Most isekai manga are usually about some NEET or a Weeb getting teleported to another world. Another interesting fact about most Isekai manga is that they are coupled with this genre. But what is a weeb by the way?
The same is the case in this manga. How NOT to summon a Demon Lord follows the story of a NEET getting teleported inside the game he was playing, and as his favorite character. However, despite his power, he is pretty awkward and this leads to some embarrassing moments.
The overall comedy of this manga is amazing. It even has an anime adaptation. So, be sure to check it out as well.
52- Tora Kiss: A School Odyssey
This manga has one of the most interesting plots I’ve ever seen.
It follows the story of a high school student named Satou Taketora. Satou is a student of a special school made for people who can extract data from a mysterious monument and can summon creatures using this data.
As you can guess, Satou is considered one of the weakest due to his laziness and lack of interest. However, one day, he got into a fight with one of his classmates and had to use the summon. And guess what? His summoning shocked everyone.
I’m sure you’re curious about the story ahead, but you have to read the manga.
51- Kakkou No Iinazuke / A Couple Of Cuckoos
Now, this manga is one of my favorites. It follows the story of a young man named Nagi Umino. As you can see from his surname, he belongs to the Umino family. But, in reality, he was swapped at the time of his birth. As he discovers this and goes to meet his true parents, he meets a young social media star named Erika Amano.
As Nagi spends a day with Erika, he comes to know that she has been into a marriage with none other than himself. This just changes everything, doesn’t it? His biological father even arranged for them to live together. However, Nagi refuses to marry her as he already loves someone else.
50- Gakusen Toshi Asterisk / The Asterisk War
This one here might seem a bit generic, but the characters make up for it. Gakusen Toshi Asterisk follows the story of Ayato Amagiri, a Genestella. Ohhh, wait! I didn’t tell you guys about Genestellas. Well! Genestellas are a new breed of humans with insane abilities. Each year, the most skilled Genestellas are selected by the government to fight in an event known as the “Festas”. And of course, Our MC here is also one of the most skilled Genestella.
However, like any other MC, Ayato is not interested in these events and just wants to focus on his ulterior motive. But some turn of events led him to a desire for glory. The characters in this manga are just awesome and the genre aspect is also great, not cringy, unlike some others. SO, be sure to give it a try.
49- Temple
Temple follows the story of a young man named Akemitsu Akagami. Akagami had decided to live alone after an encounter with a woman filled him with weird thoughts. He decided to become a Monk. However, he was shocked to see that the Temple was already full of women. Even that girl was there. What can he do now?
48- Kekkon Yubiwa Monogatari / Tales Of Wedding Rings
Another great Manga on our list. Well! It has mystery in it. It follows the story of a boy named Satou. Satou loves a girl named Hime, who is also his neighbor. He has loved her for 10 years but doesn’t even know where she came from.
After getting into high school, she is getting even more mysterious and it is getting difficult for him to confess his love. Can he do it? Personally, I don’t think so, lol. Why you ask? Because this is the way of these types of manga.
If you’re a fan of mystery manga, I’m sure you’ll like it.
47- Shinigami-Sama To 4-Nin No Kanojo
Another pretty unique manga on the list. This manga follows the story of a guy who accidentally made four girlfriends. Yess! Accidentally.
Actually, the MC, Minaguchi Kauru, was threatened by a Shinigami that if he doesn’t live his life to the fullest, he will be killed. After this, a disappointed Minaguchi sent love letters to four girls and all of them somehow agreed. Now, he has to keep his promise.
46- Ore Ga Ojousama Gakkou Ni “Shomin Sample” Toshite Rachirareta Ken / Shomin Sample
After all these years of watching anime and reading manga, I’ve learned something great. And that is, “if an anime or manga has a long title, it is bound to be great”. There are countless examples of this.
Btw, have you heard of schools that teach you manners and etiquette? I’m sure you have. The story of this manga also revolves around a similar school named Saikain Girl’s Academy. But there is one problem with this school. As the students graduate from there, they get a reality check, as real-life problems and society are not that ideal. To tackle this issue, the school hires a commoner, Kimito Kagurazaka, who would teach the students about the real world.
Interesting, right? The art style of this manga is also great and I’m sure you’ll love it.
45- Yokai Girl
I was just wondering that the supernatural genre fits so well with this types of manga, doesn’t it?
Whatever, let’s just continue our list. Yokai Girl follows the story of a young boy named Yatsuki Nishizuru. Yatsuki has the strange ability to see spirits and ghosts. However, he doesn’t let it interfere with his life and lives peacefully with his sister Nanao.
But, this is the world of manga, something has to happen. One day, a strange girl falls from a tree onto him. Yatsuki discovers that this girl is a soul-eating spirit and can stretch her neck. He also discloses that his Nanao is a ghost, meaning that her soul and body are separate. These are some really strange events lol.
44- Yuragi-Sou No Yuuna-San / Yunna And The Haunted Hot Springs
This manga is just too wholesome. I have a question for y’all. Would you help a ghost so that he/she could rest in peace without any regrets? Yess? No? Well! Most of us here would just faint after seeing a ghost.
However, the MC of this show, Kogarashi Fuyuzaya, didn’t even hesitate as he decided to help the ghost of a high school girl. Kogarashi had been special since his childhood. Supernatural beings haunted him and used to control his body. Due to this reason, he had to live in an abandoned hotel, where he found Yuuna, the ghost of a high school girl. He first wanted to exorcise her, then changed his mind and decided to help her.
This marks the beginning of Yuuna and Kogarashi’s story. The art style of this manga is just amazing and the story is pretty enjoyable and wholesome. I’m sure you’d like it.
43- Strike The Blood
Don’t you guys think that the presence of Vampires makes an anime great? Now, I have a question for Y’all. How would it feel if suddenly all the attention of the world gets diverted towards you? Awful, right?
Something similar happened to our MC, Kojou Akatsuki. One night, Kojou discovers that he has gained the abilities of a vampire. Now, this changes everything. You can’t be a normal high school student while being a vampire. His life turned upside down. And not just a regular vampire, he had become a legendary vampire, the Primogenitor. Interested, are we? Huihuihui! I won’t spoil everything for you, bruh! Just go and read it yourself.
42- Minamoto-Kun Monogatari
The MC of this manga, Minamoto Terumi, was bullied his whole school life just because his looks were a bit feminine. And I think it makes sense that he would want revenge, right? But things usually don’t go this smoothly in the manga. As he got into college, his father brought in a woman and sent Minamoto to live with his aunt, EEEE!
Minamoto discovers that his aunt is one of the professors at the college he got admitted into, and is a huge fan of “The Tale of Genji”. She wanted Minamoto to follow Genji’s path. She thinks that it would solve everything. WHAT!!!! Can Minamoto do it? How will this solve anything, lol! Anyways, the concept of this manga might seem a bit cliché.
41- Gamble Fish
Gamble Fish follows the story of a mysterious gambler, who gets admitted to a prestigious school and declares war against the school. His name is Tom Shirasagi. No one knows why Tom has decided to do so.
On top of all this, Tom is a genius gambler. The tricks he uses are too amazing. His tricks even work in real life. Still! You have to be an expert to try them. I’m sure you’ll enjoy all the games of Tom. Of course, this is a Harem.
40- Date A Live
Sometimes, it is easier to choose the bizarre path. This is how just like our MC, Shidou Itsuka, did. But, in my opinion, his idea was just too stupid. I mean, does it even make sense to attract a spirit?
Yess! Date A Live is about a guy named Shidou Itsuki, who is trying to attract a strange spirit who is responsible for the earthquakes that are destroying the world. You’d think that wouldn’t make sense to just assist the Anti-Spirit squad? Well! This is manga, you don’t choose the obvious here. This marks the beginning of Shidou Itsuki’s adventure as he tries to make a Spirit fall in love with him.
39- Maga-Tsuki
It follows the story of an unfortunate boy named Yasuke Arahabaki, who got cursed by the Goddess of Misfortune. All of this happened on the exact same day he wanted to confess to his crush. Yasuke basically broke a Shrine’s Sacred Mirror, while he was on his way to clear some weeds.
This caused some serious misfortune to him and his soul was captured by Seoritsuhime, the Goddess of Misfortune. And the curse he got was that both of them now have to live together otherwise, Yasuke will die. Now, the main question here is how will he explain this situation to his family and most importantly, his crush? He’s dead.
38- Boku Wa Tomudachi Ga Sukunai / Haganai
Now this here my fellows, is an amazing manga. It teaches us a pretty good lesson.
I’m sure some of us here have faced bullying, in one way or another? Bullying can be really detrimental for anyone. It can destroy your mental health and ruin your confidence. Bullying has many forms. Ignoring someone due to his/her looks can also be considered bullying.
The MC of this manga, Kodaka Hasegawa, experienced a similar scenario in which he was ignored due to his looks and had no friends. However, his life changed when he met Yozora Mikazuki, another loner with a similar problem. Together, both of them decided to start a club where they’d help students with the same issue. This started their amazing journey as they made some amazing friends.
37- Countertrouble
Countertrouble follows the story of a teenager, Matsushiro Kouta. One day, a self-proclaimed angel, Sasara, appears in front of him. Sasara wanted to help him, but she created more trouble for him.
The manga continues as Kouta tries to resolve the issues around him, mostly love related though. I’m really a fan of the art style of this manga. I’m sure you’ll also become one.
36- Gun X Clover
Another Manga with a pretty unique premise. Have you ever heard of schools that train bodyguards? I’m pretty sure I haven’t.
Well! The plot of this manga revolves around a teenage boy, Hayama Morito. Hayama Morito is a student of Mikado High School, a school that trains mercenary bodyguards. The students are ranked based on their skills. However, Hayama had no rank, and yet, he was assigned to guard a girl named Nanase Kotonoha.
One important thing about this is that none of Nanase’s bodyguards has survived.
35- Kiss X Sis
I’m telling you beforehand that this manga might be a bit disturbing for some individuals.
Kiss x Sis follows the story of an average teenage boy named Keita Suminoe. Keita’s father remarried when he was pretty young. From that point onward, Keita has two step-sisters who love him. However, this love is not your ordinary sibling’s love. They love him and are in a competition to win his heart. They even declared their feelings in front of Keita’s whole class.
Well! Personally, I don’t like such manga. They are just not my taste. But everyone has different tastes, sooooooo!!
34- Omamori Himari
What are your views about Sword-Wielding Cat Spirits? Lol! That was a silly thing to ask. Of course, we all love cats, except those who are allergic to them.
The same is the case with our MC, Yuuto Amakawa, who is severely allergic to cats. However, one day, a Cat Spirit in Humanoid form appears in front of him. The cat spirit is named Himari and she even wields a sword. You may ask, what’s the sword for? Well! It is to protect Yuuto from Evil spirits who are targeting him.
How will Yuuto cope with his allergy and this new problem? I’m pretty curious, Huihuihui!
33- Mayo Chiki
Another pretty unique manga on this list. Isn’t it amazing when you’re the only one knowing someone’s secret? I mean, you can blackmail them all you want, just kidding!
Mayo Chiki follows the story of a boy named Kinjirou Sakamachi. Kinjirou, unlike other protagonists, isn’t that handsome, but he has superhuman strength. Despite his strength, he has one fault. He is afraid of women and runs away from them. And the reason behind it was his sister and mother who used him as their punching bag.
However, things suddenly changed as he discovered the true identity of the school’s famous personality, Subaru Konoe. Subaru pretended to be a guy, but in reality, he is a girl. This moment just changed Kinjirou’s life.
32- Mangaka-San To Assistant-San To
This manga is just pure comedy with no real plot or premise. It follows the story of a young Manga artist known as Aito Yuuki and his assistant, Ashisu Sahoto. Sahoto is basically the caretaker of Aito and does literally everything for him. By everything, I mean everything!
Well! As I told you before, this manga is focused entirely on comedy and Aito’s everyday life. I’m pretty sure you’ll enjoy it.
31- Kyou No Cerberus / Today’s Cerberus
Kyou no Cerberus follows the story of a boy named Chiaki Mikado. When he was young, a three-headed dog bit him and his soul was ripped apart. Since then, Chiaki is unable to feel emotions.
8 years passed by like this. One day, his father sent him a box from Greece. He discovers that there is a girl inside the box. Hmmm pretty Interesting.
However, the most mysterious thing about the girl was that she had three different personalities. Later, it was revealed that she was the one who bit him and ripped his soul apart. But now, she has vowed to help him get his feelings back.
30- Sekirei
This one’s got a pretty amusing premise. Sekirei follows the story of a young man named Minato Sahashi. Minato is one of those guys who have no real meaning in life and are considered a failure.
However, his life changes as he develops a bond with a Sekirei. Ohh! You don’t know about Sekireis. A Sekirei is basically an advanced humanoid robot. Sekireis develop bonds with specific humans who can control them. These humans are known as Ashikabi.
So, Sahashi became the Ashikabi of a Sekirei and started his new life. But, these Sekirei were originally made for combat and a tournament known as The Sekirei Project. To protect his newfound life, Sahashi has to fight numerous deadly battles. Can he do it?
29- Zero No Tsukaima / The Familiar Of Zero
In a world where magic is everything, and you are not able to cast a single spell. How would it feel? Pretty awful, I guess. The same is the case with our MC, Louise. Although Louise is a student of magic at the infamous Tristain Academy, she is unable to use magic and is teased because of it.
However, as in most manga, something incredible takes place with our MC and she summons a boy named Saito Hiraga. Saito was supposed to be loyal to Louise and follow her command. But, Louise overused him and Saito started getting irritated.
One day, they discovered that Saito now has another mark on him besides that of Louise. This changes everything, doesn’t it? Now, both of them start off their journey as they try to uncover the mystery behind this new mark.
28- Mato Seihei No Sl*Ve
Mato Seihei no Sl*ve follows the story of a teenager named Yuuki Wakura. The world is full of gates known as “Mato” that lead to different dimensions. Unfortunately, our MC Yuuki got stuck in one of these gates and was saved by a member of the Anti-Demon Corps, Kyouka Uzen.
After saving him, Kyouka decides to make Yuuki her servant. At first, Yuuki was a bit disappointed and frustrated, however, becoming a servant wasn’t as bad as he imagined. The art style of the manga is amazing and the action is topnotch as well.
27- Kore Wa Zombie Desu Ka? / Is This A Zombie?
I’m really starting to love these types of manga. I mean, all of them have some unique stories and plots.
Now this one here follows the story of Ayumu Aikawa. Ayumu Aikawa was supposed to be dead as he was killed in an accident. However, after some time, he wakes up, surrounded by girls only to find out that he is revived as a zombie. EEEEEEE! Zombie!
As if turning into a zombie wasn’t bad enough, Ayumu accidentally absorbs the powers of a zombie girl named Haruna. Now, he has to take the responsibility for this as well and slay monsters for her.
This guy’s life has just turned upside down.
26- Saenai Heroine No Sodatekata / Saekano: How To Raise A Boring Girlfriend
As I said earlier, this genre is really versatile. You’ll always see something new. This manga here is a great example of this. It follows the story of a weeb named Tomoya Aki. Tomoya has watched too many anime and played enough games for him to be called an expert.
Now, he wants to share his expertise with the world and create a game. For this purpose, he hires some experts to help him. However, creating a game is not that easy and it requires some real-life experience as well.
As Tomoya is the protagonist, things changed pretty quickly as he met Megumi Katou. Megumi readily became the inspiration for Tomoya. This manga is full of surprises and the comedy is amazing as well. So be sure to give it a read.
25- High School DxD
If you’re an anime fan, you must’ve heard of High School DxD, haven’t you? Well! Most people think this manga shouldn’t be considered manga. BTW if you’re wondering who you might be in High school DxD then you should check our personality quiz!
It still is part of this genre tho, so we’ll talk about it. It follows the story of Issei Hyoudou, a high school student. Issei’s only quest was to create a his own group for himself, lol. The plot of this manga is set in a scientifically advanced city famous for its great educational institutions. The MC, Toma Kamijo, possesses a great power, the power to nullify any ability. However, this power has a drawback. It also negates his own luck. This guy sure is unlucky.
One day, Kamijo discovers a girl named Index. After some research, he finds out that the Church has implanted Index’s head with maps. These maps lead to a great treasure of Ancient Magic Books.
23- Seto No Hanayome / My Bride Is A Mermaid
Who doesn’t love mermaids? I mean, they are just too adorable. It would surely be a waste to meet a mermaid and not marry her.
This manga follows the story of Nagasumi, a young boy who was saved by a Mermaid named San. The mermaid did save him but at a huge cost. According to the mermaid law, a mermaid cannot touch a human and if she does, she has to marry him.
Now, San and Nagasumi have to live in the human world as a couple. However, it is not that easy as they have to hide San’s secret as well I’m pretty sure that y’all will love this manga. The art style, character, comedy, everything is just perfect.
22- Ai Kora
The plot of this one might seem a bit cliché, but the characters make up for it. It follows the story of Hachibei. Hachibei has a weird thing known as the “Parts Love”. He strongly believes that you’re supposed to love the owner if you love their parts. I think you know what I’m talking about, huihuihui!
With this weird quirk, Hachibei moves to Tokyo and finds an apartment. Much to his surprise, 5 girls live in the same area. Now, the main question here is, “Will Hachibei be able to play it safe?” Let’s bet. For me, he won’t be able to, lol! What do you think?
The art style of this manga is just amazing. The comedy is also top-notch. So, I’m sure you’ll like it.
21- Bokutachi Wa Benkyou Ga Dekinai / We Never Learn
Another pretty amazing manga on this list. It follows the story of Yuiga Nariyuki, a pretty ordinary yet hard-working boy. Yuiga didn’t get good grades in his starting years of High School. However, in his third year, he decides to work hard and get a full scholarship to support his family.
However, things are usually not this easy. The headmaster of the school gives him a huge task, and that task is to tutor two girls. One of them is a science genius but poor in literature, and the other one is a literature genius while poor in science.
And of course, both of them are pretty stubborn. The plot of this manga is pretty unique and amazing. However, the useless romance and unnecessary stuff just ruin it. How will the story progress? I’m pretty sure you want to know, huh! So, just go and read the manga!!!!!
20- Nyan Koi
Do you guys like cats? Well! I do. I think they’re really adorable. Though I’m allergic to them, I still want to pet one someday. The MC of this show, Junpei Kousaka, is also allergic to cats and unlike myself, he hates them. However, Junpei is really unlucky, as the girl he has a crush on also loves cats.
One day, while going back home, he accidentally hit the guardian deity of cats. The Guardian Deity cursed him and told him that the only way he could lift the curse is by fulfilling 100 wishes of cats. Sounds interesting, right?
Why are protagonists in this genre so unlucky, Lmaoooo! Nevertheless, the manga has a great plot, and the art style is amazing as well. It won’t bore you, I promise.
19- Pastel
Pastel revolves around the story of a teenager named Mugi Tadano. Mugi started working on a beach after his girlfriend left him. One of his close friends, Kazuki, sets him up on a date with a beautiful girl, Yuu. Mugi immediately falls in love with her. However, luck was against him as he had an accident involving her.
After that, he wanted to apologize but Yuu had already left. Sad! Will Mugi be able to see her again?
18-Love Comedy Wo Zenryoku De Jama Shiteiru
If you’re also a fan of unique anime and manga, then this one’s for you. Have you ever played games where they give you multiple choices for a question and your life depends on your answer? No! Seriously?
Well! I have, and I can definitely relate to the MC of this show. Kanade Amakusa is a young boy who faces a similar situation. But for him, it is not inside any game, it’s with his own life. He usually gets some weird quizzes and is pretty famous in his neighborhood.
Now, as he is the MC of a manga, he is sure to get some romance. You might be wondering, in this situation, how can he get romance? Well! You have to read the manga for the answer.
17- Nisekoi / False Love
This one is my favorite. I personally recommend this one.
I’m pretty sure y’all have heard of arranged marriages and relationships. Some of you might even be in one. Nisekoi follows a similar premise. It follows the story of Raku, the male protagonist, who is the son of a Yakuza boss, and Chitoge Kirisaki, daughter of another gang leader. I think you can guess how their relationship started.
Yess! Their relationship began as a peace treaty between the two gangs. However, both of them initially hated each other, Raku even had a crush on someone.
Hehehehe! I think you want to know if they end up together or not. Don’t worry, I won’t tell you.
The art style is amazing and the character is also pretty likable.
16- Denpa Kyoushi / Ultimate Otaku Teacher
Another pretty unique manga on this list. All of you must’ve seen students who were once called genius, but as they got into college they just lost their charm.
The same is the case with our MC, Kagami Junichirou. Kagami was also called a genius in his school life. However, as he got into college, he lost interest in science and got addicted to anime and manga, becoming a NEET.
Seeing this, his sister decides to get him a job. Surprisingly, she was able to find a job for him in the same high school he had studied. He was reluctant at first, but slowly, teaching became fun for him and he started enjoying it.
The art style of this manga is a bit inconsistent, however, the characters and the amazing plot make up for it. I’m pretty sure you’ll enjoy it.
15- Kyou Kara Ma No Tsuku Jiyuugyou! / Today I Start A Demonic Profession
From the point of getting bullied to becoming the Demon Lord, Yuuri Shibuya sure got a huge boost. Like really, who would imagine this. One moment you are being bullied, and the next moment you get transported to another world as the Demon Lord.
This manga follows the story of Yuuri Shibuya, a seemingly normal boy, who just wanted to save his friend from bullying. However, instead of his friend, he got bullied. Even his friend ran away.
As he was getting bullied, he got teleported to another world where people started throwing stones at him. After being saved, he discovers that he has now become a Demon Lord.
14- Monster Musume No Iru Nichijou / Monster Musume
Can you even imagine monsters and humans living together? Oufff
Monster Musume follows the story of a guy named Kurusu Kimihito. Kimihito has to live with monsters according to a treaty signed between monsters and the world government. This step was taken so that monsters can become accustomed to humans.
Living with monsters is not a problem for Kimihito. However, the monster he has to live with is a problem. He has to live with a Snake Lamia named Miaa. Things become even more complicated when two female monsters move in with them.
The art style of this manga is just superb coupled with amazing characters.
13- Trinity Seven: 7-Nin No Mashotsukai
Trinity Seven is one of the most popular manga of all time. It follows the story of Kasuga Arata, a seemingly ordinary boy, who lived a pretty ordinary life in a small town. However, something bad has to happen as this is the world of manga. All of this began with the sudden appearance of a Black Sun and guess what? Arata was the only one who could see this.
After this strange event, a strange guy approaches him and tells him about the existence of Magic and Grimoires. Now, the main question here is how our MC will handle this situation?
What would you do in this matter? As I said earlier, Trinity Seven is one of the most popular manga out there. It is a great mixture of different genres and concepts.
12- Ichigo 100%
The plot of this manga might seem a bit cliché, however, the characters are just so amazing that you’ll thoroughly enjoy this one. Ichigo 100% follows the story of a boy named Junpei Manaka, who found a weird piece of clothing of a girl.
This marks the beginning of Junpei’s adventure of finding that girl. A pretty weird adventure, I guess. And the most amusing thing about it is that he only remembers her piece of clothing. If you’re a fan of a classic manga in this genre, then this one’s for you. The art style is amazing and comedy is just oufffff!
11- Konosuba
Konosuba is one of the greatest combos of the Isekai and this genre. Well! The plot is not that serious and it is usually recognized as a parody manga. You don’t know about Parody manga? I’ll tell you a bit about them. In Parody manga, the story usually goes absolutely opposite the way it should be. One Punch Man can also be called a parody manga.
Konosuba revolves around the story of Kazuma Sato. Following his bizarre and hilarious death, Kazuma gets teleported to another world. There, he thought that his life would change, however, things always went against his expectations. The comedy in this manga is just God-Tier. You’ll die laughing and I’m not even kidding. Lmaoo!
10- Love Hina
Failing to achieve your dream is always dreadful. However, the important thing here is not to give up. The MC of this show, Keitarou, also fails to achieve his goal. But, he didn’t give up and decided to take over his Grandma’s hotel. A pretty nice decision, you’d say!
However, he didn’t know that his Grandma’s hotel is an all-girls dormitory. Hehehehe! Working in an all-girls dorm is every guy’s dream, I guess.
But for Keitarou, it was a living hell. He wanted to achieve something in life and this happened to him. Would Keitarou be able to overcome his desires and work towards his goal? I’m curious. And I’m pretty sure you’re also. So, what are you waiting for? Just go and binge it.
9- Hayate No Gotoku / Hayate The Combat Butler
Let me ask you a question. How lucky are you? Or can you call yourself lucky? I guess most of you can. But you can’t be luckier than the MC of this manga.
Hayate no Gotoku follows the story of a boy named Hayate Ayasaki. Hayate’s parents left him and ran away leaving behind a debt of 150 million. You might be wondering; how can this guy be lucky? However, what happens next will answer your question.
One day, Hayate saw a girl in the park and tried to abduct her. But, instead of abducting her, he saved her. That girl then offered him to become his butler and also pay his debt. Isn’t he just too lucky? This manga is a great mixture of romance, comedy, and action. I’m sure it’ll amuse you.
8- To Love-Ru
Well! We’ve already seen a monster manga, How about Aliens? Yess! Aliens! To Love-Ru follows the story of a High School boy named Rito Yuuki. I have a question here, why do protagonists have such bad luck in the beginning? Just wondering.
Like other protagonists, Rito Yuuki was also pretty unfortunate at love and had a hard time confessing his feelings. As he agonizes over his bad luck in the bathroom, a beautiful girl appears in front of him. That girl was an alien from a planet known as Deviluke.
This marks the beginning of Rito Yuuki and Lala’s story (Lala is the name of that alien). The art style of this manga is pretty captivating. The characters are also pretty fun and likable. The manga also has multiple arcs, just for character development. So, I suggest you definitely give it a try.
7- Ranma ½
Martial arts plus this genre, now this is a very great combo. Ranma ½ follows the story of a young Martial artist, Ranma, who just wanted to train and become stronger. However, things usually don’t go as smoothly in the world of manga. He didn’t know that there was a tragic virus spreading around and he became a victim of it. The virus basically changes the gender of its victim from male to female on touching the water. EEEEEE! Pretty Awful, I guess.
Things got even worse for Ranma when his father decided to get him engaged to the daughter of his old friend. Would you marry such a guy? Of course not, Lol. Is this even a question? Now the real question here is what happens next? Do they fall in love? Do they get married? If you want to find answers to these questions, you’ll have to read the manga. Huihuihui!
6- Mahou Sensei Negima / Negima! Magister Negi Magi
Another unique manga on our list. Mahou Sensei Negima follows the story of a young boy named Negi Springfield. Negi was considered to be a prodigy due to his immense talent in magic. He graduated pretty early from the Magic academy. After graduation, he had two goals in his life. One, becoming the Magic Minister, so that he can help the poor, and second, finding his father.
With these goals in mind, he started teaching at a school in Japan. However, he didn’t know that his students were all girls. And you know a girl’s nature. They usually don’t like male teachers. The same happened with Negima as his class hated him. But, due to his loving nature, he slowly developed a good bond with them. This manga might seem a bit slow. However, it provides a great combo of action, comedy, and romance. So, I definitely suggest this one.
5- Seitokai Yakuindomo
The plot of this manga is a bit cliché. However, if you’re a fan of jokes, I’m sure you’ll like it. It follows the story of Tsuda Takatoshi. Takatoshi got admitted to the Ousai Academy, a school that was recently made co-ed due to the declining birth rate. What does co-ed have to do with the declining birth rate?
However, on his first day, Takatoshi got scolded by the Student Council President and had to become the Vice-President. Seems fishy, doesn’t it? Now the main question here is, can Takatoshi perform the duties of the Vice-President efficiently? And can he discover the reason behind his recruitment? You’ll find the answers to these questions in the manga, ofc.
4- Yamada-Kun To 7-Nin No Majo / Yamada-Kun And The Seven Witches
This genre always fits well with the supernatural genre, Idk why?
Yamada-Kun to 7-nin no Majo follows the story of Ryuu Yamada and Urara Shiraishi. Yamada is the type of guy who gets bored easily and is not good at studies. However, Urara is the topper of her class. The story begins as Yamada falls from the stairs along with Urara. After waking up, both of them discover that they can swap bodies with people, Woahhh! Now, this is some crazy development!
So, they decide to improve their lives using this ability. However, things usually don’t go as smoothly. Soon, they discover other people with strange abilities as well. How will this change their life?
3- Rosario + Vampire
Another great manga coupled with the supernatural genre. I told ya before, This genre and supernatural always form a great couple.
Rosario + Vampire follows the story of Aono Tsukune, another unlucky MC who hasn’t been able to get love his entire life. However, Aono somehow gets admitted to a school. But as he reaches there, he discovers that the school is meant for monsters, not humans. Sounds like he can’t study there. But wait, he is an MC, something has to happen. Encounter with the love of his life, I suppose?
Yesss! Aono just changes his decision after meeting a vampire. Surprisingly, the vampire was also attracted to him. This just changes everything, doesn’t it? The art style of this manga is amazing and the comedy is also superb. Be sure to give it a read. Or you can also check our filler list guide for this series!
2- 5-Toubun No Hanayome / The Quintessential Quintuplets
Now this one has a special place in my heart. I really enjoyed reading this one, and the adaptation as well is just super good. It follows the story of a High School Student named Uesugi Fuutarou. Fuutarou is a brilliant student and always gets good grades. His family is pretty poor and for them to survive, Fuutarou has to do part-time jobs. He still gets full marks, Isn’t he just brilliant?
Fortunately, he found a really good job in private tutoring. However, there still was one trouble, one HUGE trouble! The students were his classmates. All five of them were beautiful and sharp-minded, but they hated studying and because of this, always got low scores. The author has basically ended the story in the first chapter, like who will marry Fuutarou. To know more then you can you can just jump ahead in our watch order guide!
1-Kami Nomi Zo Shiro Sekai / The World God Only Knows
I’m starting to really like these types of manga. I’m not lying, like seriously they have a huge variety and you can basically combine any genre with them.
Btw, have you ever played Dating Sim Games? I played one a long time ago and I remember that I was bad at it. However, the MC of this show Katsuragi Keima is an expert at such games. He is also known as the God of Conquest. He is so addicted to them that he doesn’t find real girls attractive. You should also check out our recommendations about light novels where the MC is a God!
