Table of Contents

But there are anime studios that put two and two together and made anime based on video games! Isn’t it quite nice to see the two things we love mashed together in one media? Sometimes, it is a direct and straightforward adaptation of the game, while sometimes, it offers something original, a departure from the source material! But nevertheless, the essence we fans of the series still appreciate seeing our favorite video game character be in an anime in action!

Check this one: 20+ Anime with Ridiculous Titles!

Starting off our list with the adaptation of the Horror PSP Game, Corpse Party: Blood Covered.

Like how the game came to be, Satoshi with his classmates, adviser, and little sister did a little ritual called Sachiko Ever After to cheer up their transferring classmate, Mayu, led by Ayumi Shinozaki.

This dragged them to the accursed Heavenly Host Elementary school. Now, they are class separated from each other. They must appease the ghost and solve the mystery behind the school and Sachiko in order to find a way back.

This anime is quite infamous , not because of the gore or the violence, but because of its… liberties. Yet, it’s still a pretty cool anime!

An anime based on a visual novel, a disturbing one to boot.

Makoto Itou noticed Kotonoha Katsura at the start of his second semester of his freshman year. He instantly fell for her but couldn’t get himself to talk to her even if there are multiple opportunities to. So like any other creep,  he snaps a photo of her in secret and sets it as his cell phone’s wallpaper: a charm that, if kept hidden,  would help you manifest your love.

However, classmate Sekai Saionji sees the picture, but instead of exposing the guy, she offers to help set him up with Kotonoha—going so far as befriending her for that very purpose. Thus, the trio begins a sudden friendship.

But for this one, it is able to pull off a mix of every route in the game, somehow giving the viewers a taste when they play the VN. While the ending is a combination of two bad endings. YIKES.

Tekken hasn’t been so lucky with the adaptation stuff for the past few years, that’s why the fans were surprised with the quality when Netflix released the trailer for Tekken: Bloodline!

Tekken: Bloodline is the anime adaptation of Tekken 3. It centers on Jin Kazama’s quest for revenge for his mother’s death, Jun Kazama at the hands of the demonic Ogre.. As her mother’s last words instructed, Jin looked for his grandfather, Heihachi Mishima. There he was trained rigorously and entered the King of Iron Fist Tournament. Believing that his fighting abilities and power will draw out Ogre, he wins every fight, no matter the cost.

It is praised for the accuracy of the moveset used in the anime, as well as the fresh character designs of our beloved Tekken characters. Now, many can say that not all Tekken adaptations are bad!

Conclusion
