QUOTES FROM GENSHIN IMPACT
Zhongli
20. “Osmanthus wine tastes the same as I remember… but where are those who share the memory?”
Zhongli is known for this idle voice line, his favorite beverage often leaves him with the sad memory of his friends no longer with him. It’s enjoyable to listen in all languages but sometimes gets pretty annoying when he says it five to ten times every moment! Don’t get ticked off okay? We love our CEO of Geo~
19. “You should know that all power comes at a price. For every bit of power you gain, so too do you gain more responsibility.”
Wise words from grandad Zhongli, as an archon he continues to stay to his beliefs and strictly follows his contracts. The power the traveler gets must be a reminder of not to extend their authority.
Kamisato Ayaka
18. “A blade is like a tea-leaf. Only those who sample it many times can appreciate its true qualities.”
Ayaka’s soft-spoken voice is a delight to hear whenever her idle voice lines pop up. A true elegant Lady of the Kamisato house as well as a fierce samurai. She likens swordsmanship to tea as only those who frequent it will truly understand its nature.
Kamisato Ayato
17. “Everything comes at a cost. And if you aspire to things that most could never dream of, then naturally, there will be an unimaginable price to pay.”
Ayato is the head of the Kamisato household, a role that he inherited at a young age. He strives to maintain their house’s honor and…well he surely keeps reminding me of how much Mora I lack. So, he is quite meticulous with mora and never seems to be out of it.
Venti
16. “Though I’ve long since viewed this scenery a great many times, there is something different about seeing it again with you. Surely you’re not still concealing some other wondrous abilities? Hmm, even if you were, it would simply further prove that my intuition is correct.”
Venti’s idea of ruling Mondsadt is by letting them explore freedom. Though some nations do not agree with his beliefs, he’s just more than happy to let his people be and at the same time drink all the wine he can get from Angel’s Share. Venti is one of the first Archons, so spending time with us and seeing the same memory gives him a new perspective.

Yelan
12. “Don’t be too ready to believe people when they cross their hearts and hope to die. Sweet talkers only say what you want to hear. And think twice before meeting someone else’s gaze – your eyes speak volumes about what you’re thinking.”
Yelan directly works under Ningguang with her covert tasks. We better listen to her since she’s quite a formidable force. She basically tells us to weary of people-pleasers as they often know how to sweeten up offers.
Ningguang
11. “Gamblers always place their bets on the next dice roll… but the bankers always have the last laugh, and they never touch a single die.”

8. “The world remains constant over the centuries. But human life is like the dew at dawn or a bubble rising through water. Transitory.”
We know Raiden Shogun with her quest for eternity. Initially, we disliked her methods of ruling, but soon enough we understood her tyrannical way. The loss of her friends and her beloved sister, drove her to seek other methods to keep Inazuma shining eternally, thus her having a skewed perception of eternity.
Scaramouche
7. It’s the way of the world. Human life is worthless. They were always going to die, with or without a Delusion. At least having one gives them a chance to fulfill their ambitions.

Dainsleif

4. Now, you who have set foot in this world. Your journey has reached its end, but one final doorway remains. Step forth, if you have understood the meaning of your journey. Defeat me, command me to step aside, show me that you are worthier than I to rescue her. Then, the threads of all fate will be yours to re-weave. My memory has all but faded completely… but I will always remember how much she too, loved these flowers.
These lines are my favorite, as he somehow gives us advice and at the same time challenges us if we are worthy to save our twin. A challenge and a command, are we ready?

A question that raises concerns for Venti’s ruling. Indeed, is freedom given by Barbatos? Or does he demand it?
Cyno
2. The sands devour, and new life emerges. In the cycle of life and death, whatever is sown will be reaped. And when the moral order is disrupted, judgment will come swiftly. Every soul will be weighed.
As a matra, Cyno does his best to adhere to the strictness of the Akademiya–his judgment will be given. His views on life and death are very philosophical, such wisdom truly resonates Sumeru.
Lumine
1. We will be reunited. But not here, not now–we will meet at this journey’s end… Once the dust has settled
This stays as number one because of the hope that it gives the players. A reunion that perhaps could happen only when the game is finished.
