Joshua from Seventeen is a Korean-American idol. In Seventeen, he is part of the vocal team. The anime that he loves watching are One Piece, Naruto, and Bleach. Yes, these are the three biggest anime of all time! 

It’s no surprise since all of these anime are shonen anime that are highly loved by male audiences. Just like that, Joshua loves Shonen anime. 

One Piece tells us about Luffy’s journey of becoming a pirate and finding the treasure aka “One Piece”. 

Naruto tells us about Naruto’s journey of becoming the best ninja! 

Bleach tells us about Ichigo’s journey of becoming a Soul Reaper and encountering many adventures.

Woozi is also one of the members of Seventeen who watches very little anime. But one of his recommendations for you guys is Search for the Full Moon. The story revolves around Mitsuki Koyama’s dream of becoming a singer so that she can spend some time with her first love named Eichi Sakurai. Her first love is an astronomer and she believes that someday her music will get to him just like the light of the full moon! 

However, there’s a sad side to the anime. It’s nothing more than an illness that shatters the dream of our MC. She has a tumor in her throat and if she undergoes a surgery she won’t be able to sing.

 

13. Yuta (Noragami) 

Band name: NCT 

Yuta is also a South-Korean idol, he’s a singer, dancer, and rapper from the NCT . His recommendation includes Noragami! A person’s favorite anime can tell a lot about them. Isn’t that right? For Yuta, he loves Noragami. He gives off mysterious yet goofy vibes just like our MC, Yato. 

Noragami tells us about a self-proclaimed god named Yato. He dreams of having a lot of worshippers. In fact, his major goal is to be recognized as a powerful god! So, he comes across many people like Hiyori and Yukine. Coming across these people, Yato realizes that there’s more to life than just becoming a remarkable god.

Band name: Twice 

Twice is one of the most popular girl groups of this generation. Mina is one of the members of Twice who absolutely loves Pokemon. Her favorite Pokemon is Piplup! We all remember that Dawn owned Piplup, right? 

Well, if we talk about Pokemon, it has always been one of the most famous anime all around the world. It has a large fanbase. For instance, kids love pokemon which is cool but young adults like Mina also love Pokemon! Isn’t that crazy? Suga loves a basket-ball themed anime, he even played as a shooting guard when he was a student. 

Suga from BTS is quite popular for his singing and rapping skills. Even his name is made up from the first syllables of “Shooting Guard”. Isn’t that fascinating? 

One of his favorite anime includes a sports anime named Slam Dunk. Slam Dunk tells us the story of a scary delinquent who has to impress his crush by joining the Basketball team since her crush plays Basketball. When his crush recognized his talent for Basketball, he didn’t think twice and joined the club. So, Slam Dunk is an anime recommendation from your favorite Idol, Suga! 

 

10. D.O (The Prince of Tennis) 

Band name: EXO

D.O is the main vocalist of EXO. EXO has been a very famous boy band all around the world. Many of its songs hit the charts and whatnot! But the recommendation D.O has for you is The Prince of Tennis! It tells us about a 12-year-old tennis player named Ryoma Echizen. He moved back to his native country Japan just so he could attend his father’s Alma mater at the Seishun Academy. This academy is known to be a private school for strong tennis teams! 

 

9. Yuri (Shin Chan) 

Band name: Girls’ Generation 

Yuri, the main dancer from Girls’ Generation loves watching Shin Chan! Can you guys believe it? Shin Chan is the story of his twisted bald kid and his everyday life. I mean, I never expected Yuri to like Shin Chan. HAHA! I’m sure you guys are just as shocked as me. Shin Chan is so childlike and sweet just like Yuri. 8. Wonjin (Magical DoReMi) 

Band name: CRAVITY 

Wonjin recommends you guys watch Magical DoReMi! It tells us about the mishap with a witch, Doremi is a witch who must study along with practicing magic. Yes, it’s your average shoujo anime where the main characters are obsessed with magic to the extent of ruining their school life. Wonjin is a member of the CRAVITY boy band and is also known as a singer and an actor. Being a singer and actor in the same place is pretty amazing. What do you guys think about Wonjin? 

 

7. Amber (Fullmetal Alchemist)

Amber was a member of F(x). She’s quite unique and is known to be quite a fan of anime. She has watched a lot of anime including Naruto, Bleach, and Fullmetal Alchemist. Fullmetal Alchemist is considered quite a big Shonen anime of all time. It tells us the story of two brothers named Edward and Alphanose Eric who are looking for an important stone called Philosopher’s stone that might bring their mother back to life! This story is set up in the 20th century and the universe is fictional where science is highly practiced. It is also involved in many shady activities.

6. Onew, Key, Minho, Taemin (One Piece) 

Band name: SHINEE

Almost every member of Shinee loves One Piece. Indeed, One Piece is one of the biggest anime all around the world. They claim that watching One Piece helped them a lot in learning Japanese. It’s true that watching Anime can actually make you fluent in Japanese. No wonder their songs seem so smooth and fluent when they do their Japanese versions!

Who doesn’t know about Black Pink? It’s literally one of the most popular girl groups around the world. Recently, we got to know that Lisa, the Thai member of Black Pink, is enjoying watching Spy X Family! 

Lisa claimed that watching anime is quite healing to her and how Anya is the cutest character in Spy X Family in one of her interviews. 

Spy X Family tells us about a secret spy named Loid Forger who has a mission to build a normal family. Little did he know that he ended up building a very extraordinary family. For instance, Anya (the kiddo) can do telepathy. On the other hand, her mother aka Yor Forger can kick people around since she has been an assassin. So, Lisa recommends you guys to Spy X Family! 

 

4. Jungkook (Haikyuu)

Band name: BTS

Now, we have another famous member of BTS named Jungkook. He’s the main vocalist in BTS who loves watching Haikyuu. Jungkook’s very first dream when he was just a child was to become an anime character. He highly recommends you guys watch this sports anime! 

Haikyuu tells us the story of a passionate volleyball player who is quite short but dreams quite high! He wants to become the best volleyball player and defeat big teams. So, Jungkook adores Hinata from the bottom of his heart! However, all the members of BTS love this anime. 

 

3. Yoo HweSeung (Demon Slayer) 

Band name: N.Flying 

Yoo HweSeung is one of the main vocalists of N.Flying who absolutely loves watching Demon Slayer! Demon Slayer is a supernatural and suspenseful anime that tells us about the life of Tanjiro Kamado. His family gets murdered by a demon and now he has to get back to the demons by becoming stronger and through training. 2. Minhyuk (My Hero Academia) 

Band name: Monsta X 

Minhyuk from Monsta X absolutely adores My Hero Academia too much. This anime tells us about Izuku Midoriya who is a quirkless fellow. He has been reading about heroes for a long time and he hopes to become like them as well! One day, All Might (the best hero) comes after him and gives him some of his quirks. Just like that, Midoriya gets hyped up and trains even harder! 

 

1. Bang Chan (Food Wars) 

Band name: Stray Kids 

Bang Chan has always been good at cooking, he loves cooking Korean Cuisine. Bang Chan from Stray Kids loves Food Wars. Even their track “God’s Menu” will remind you of Food Wars! 

Food Wars tells us the story of different contestants who make yummy food and present it to people. It’s more like a master chef but in Japanese. So, I’m sure you guys will enjoy it, especially if you’re a foodie!
