Here’s an old anime for GenZ’s, I bet you haven’t watched it yet! But if you do then, here’s a round of applause. I salute you, my comrade! Anyways, welcome to our blog and we’ll be taking you to a colorful anime, and guardians and no! I’m not talking about the guardians with a raccoon and mantis!

But before you watch the anime, aren’t you a little bit curious about what you are getting? Well, I got you covered guys! I’ll be guiding through a filler list that you definitely need!

THE FILLER LIST GUIDE FOR SHUGO CHARA

Plot

Before we head on the filler list, you have to know what the Anime is about! So here’s some quick information about Shugo Chara’s plot!

Shugo Chara tells the story of Amu Hinamori, a classmate who is thought of as cool and spicy. But in truth, she is simply an introverted person, which makes it difficult for her to make friends (Is this where Handa-plot kun’s came from? XD).

The desire to become her “would-be self” would amaze our main character the following morning when she would find three colorful eggs. The “Guardian Characters” found inside of each of these “Hearts Eggs” are representations of people’s ideal selves and desires.

Shugo Chara or Guardian Character is an Anime produced by Satelight, which is a well-known studio for producing great anime like, Fairy tail, Log Horizon, and Hellsing Undying! The anime is based on an award-winning manga series of the same name. It has 51 episodes and has sequels such as Shugo Chara!! Doki and Shugo Chara! Party. It was aired back in October 6, 2007!

If you like Sailor Moon or Tokyo Mewmew  then you might also be interested in this show! It’s a comedy anime with school and magical shoujo themes.

As you can see, there’s a lot of filler in the series, and although it isn’t that bad, it serves the purpose of learning more about different characters. But sometimes it leads to the feeling of anti-climactic.

Despite the cute moments, that can either make you laugh or cringe, there’s more to learn about the show. Especially with the complex character of Amu. You’ll see that she has a lot of emotional depth and you can watch her growth in a way it isn’t rushed, which is all thanks to the 51 episodes that we have despite the fillers.

The Guardian Characters are there to provide advice and guidance, greatly influencing a person’s personality. This adds complexity to the life of Amu. But it’s a great show telling the struggles of a young girl when it comes to identity.

People will have different perspectives towards you and when you look at the mirror you will see a different self. Which creates a confusion about who you really are. I think Shugo Chara has a good life lesson, which is why I suggest that you guys should watch it!

Characters

Amu Hinamori

Amu Hinamori is the protagonist of the story! She is pink haired and golden-eyed character. She has the cold, and blackface expression which causes misunderstanding towards other people! However there are changes as time passes by all thanks to the guardian( Kinda wish I have at least one T-T).

Amu is a shy character and can be quite self-deny. However, he is a kind soul that will do her best to help others. She tries to act tough despite the struggle of self-identity crisis.  But despite that Amu is responsible and most of all caring.

Ran

Ran was the first to hatch and is one of the guardians. She has a vibrant personality and always sports a pompom like a cheerleader. Amu’s desire to change into someone other than herself is what made her possible.

Ram represents Amu’s desire to be a morally upright, physically fit, and self-assured character!

Miki

Miki is the second guardian to hatch, who has a blue motif. Her personality leans toward being creative and artistic. Miki has the ability to improve Amu’s artistic abilities! Like Ran, she was created as a result of Amu’s desire to be someone else.

Miki is an embodiment of Amu’s desire for something more intelligent, rational, and creative.

Su

Su is the green themed character and is the third guardian to hatch.pero She has the girly kawaii persona, and rather than fighting she prefers to do housework. She possesses the talent for cooking, knitting and housekeeping. Much like the others, she was born out of Amu’s desire to become someone other than herself.

Su is the persona of Amu’s wish to become a sensitive character who is good with domestic skills.

Dia

If you think there’s only three guardians, well nice assumption! But Dia is Amu’s final guardian character. Dia is a yellow themed character who has a lot of positivity, she may be wise but can be quite of an airhead sometimes. Dia is the representation of Amu’s desire to be an idol!

Conclusion

That will be all for this filler list! I hope you enjoy our blogs! Shugo Chara focuses on helping the character find her identity. It is a problem that isn’t limited to high school students, anyone can live a life struggling to find who they truly are, vagabond to one’s own purpose.
