Where To Start Bleach Manga?

The last arc in Bleach is “Lost Agent,” which is the sixth season of Bleach. You can start reading its seventh season starting from Chapter 479. While there are so many fillers in the anime, you can start reading the most applicable parts of the Bleach manga.For instance, the anime filler arcs are not included in the manga. Bleach in a Nutshell

Ichigo Kurosaki is the main character in Bleach who might come off as a peculiar teenager who can see ghosts! He’s not just an angry teenage, he’s quite overpowered too! This talent lets her cross paths with Rukia Kuchiki. She entered Ichigo’s town to look for a hollow soul who intends to  harm humans. Rukia is one of the Soul Reapers also known as Shinigami.

Ichigo somehow ends up inside the afterlife realm, where Rukia is attempting to capture the hollow soul. When she got injured seriously, she had to transfer her powers to Ichigo just so he could fight in her place. 

Just like that, Rukia is trapped in the human realm and lives with Ichigo. Now, Ichigo gets to live his life as a soul reaper and a high school student. Now, that’s a lot for a high schooler. 

Imagine you have to become a soul reaper and live as a normal student side-by-side. The interesting story starts when Ichigo’s friends including Orihime Inoue and Uryu Ishida start helping in hunting the hollow spirits. 

On the other hand, Rukia gets arrested by her superiors for illegally transferring her powers to a human. Ichigo wants to help Rukia somehow. That’s why he wants to enter the realm. Ichigo along with his friends asks for a mad scientist aka Kisuke Urahara’s help.

He helps them in entering the realm and rescues Rukia. After these high schoolers entered the Soul Society (the realm) they got to know that Sosuke Aizen, the captain of the fifth company has been murdered! These captains blame Ichigo and his friends for committing murder. 

This caused the soul reapers to fight among themselves and Ichigo is still rigid about his goal of saving Rukia. When he rescues Rukia, the Soul Society gets closer to civil war. Aizen appears and says that he wants to obtain the Crumbling Orb. What’s a Crumbling Orb? Well, it’s an Orb of great power. 

Aizen is not alone, he has his people lingering around him. However, using the Hollows he covers his escape into their realm. Now, Ichigo and Rukia reunite with the Soul Reapers. Ichigo gets introduced to society officially and becomes a member. 

After a while, Ichigo realizes that he and his friends are in conflict with Aizen’s army which has many humanoid Hollows. These Hollows are joined by Vizards as well. Who are the Vizards? Well, they are those unfortunate people who were under Aizen’s experiments. 

One of the most powerful Aizen’s men ended up kidnapping Orihime, Ichigo, and his allies. They ended up in Aizen’s palace. Ichigo makes a heroic move and saves Orihime while this serves as a distraction for Aizen’s men, he attacks Karakura Town too just so he kills the Soul King. 

Since the Soul Reapers from the Soul Society were already expecting Aizen to show up there, they were more than prepared. They ended up overpowering everyone but it still ended with Ichigo defeating Aizen however, it cost him to lose his powers. That’s how he reverted to a normal human being. 

After months of this incident, Ichigo and his loved ones got trapped inside a scheme by a gang called Xcution. They manipulated Ichigo and his loved ones. The Soul Society decided to give Ichigo’s powers back to him. The Soul Reapers did not trust the substitute Soul Reapers as a result, they gave a badge to the Substitute Soul Reaper to observe his power levels. 

Since Ichigo got his powers back, a new army known as the Wandenreich declared war against the Soul Society. It seems like Soul Society doesn’t have it easy. Yhwach leads this group and seeks to kill the Soul King to get rid of “death” and “fear” in this world. 

Later on, we get to see Ichigo and his friends fighting Wandenreich while Yhwach is still busy trying to kill the Soul King. Uryu joins Yhwach and hopes to get close to him just because he’s responsible for killing his mother. 

Sounds like a sad story doesn’t it? Well, it is. Finally, Yhwach makes his step and ends up slaying the Soul King. In his final battle, he comes back to the Soul Society but he gets defeated by Ichigo Kurasaki! 

Just like that, time passes, and many more interesting events start taking place in Bleach. Ichigo becomes stronger day by day. What more events await Ichigo? There’s only one way to find out and that is by watching Bleach!
